Istanbul Taksim Hostel Green House

I don't know how this hostel got so many good reviews. I wouldn't recommend. It's super basic for the price. Noisy , cramped, not a single sign of love went into this place. One of the staff just randomly started yapping about why Hitler was not such a bad guy.

* POOR MAINTENANCE *Beddings were smelly in private room *Airconditioned was not working properly and leaking. The room was hot during our stay. *Hand showers need to be replaced. *Tiles in the bathrooms, high risk of trips and fall; not appropriate for floors *Tap faucets were old and needs to be replaced. It was leaking when you open. *The lightings were dim *Poor ventilation However, the staff were very polite and accommodating.

This place looked more like a refugee camp than a hostel. Luckily I only had one night booked there.

El internet no funciona en el cierto de arriba, MUCHO CUIDADO mande a lavar con ellos y me entregaron tarde , siendo que ya les había dicho, además me la entregaron mojada y me perdieron un traje de baño CK. De verdad no vendan SOLO por VENDER, digan solo NO

unfreundliche Respektlos Umgang mit dem Gast noch nie erlebt ,und zwar so schlimm war, dann ich musste mitten den nach anders Hostel gehen.

Hostel dość tani, w dobrej lokalizacji i z zamykanymi szafkami. Niestety personel nie mówi po angielsku, a prysznic jest stary, zagrzybiały i w piwnicy

Solo female traveler. Fabulous stay in shared female dorm, clean and tidy.Lockers for big bag as well as small locker at bedside. 3x power plugs per bed ❤️.Yassin is a fabulous host.Could do with a new toilet seat and female dorm door.

I booked a bed in 6 bed dorm and when at the property, I was offered a bed literally at the lobby next to the kitchen and toilet. I refused to take it and the guy told me to contact the website I booked through. Later after an argument of a few minutes, he agreed to give me what I've booked for. Never ever gonna stay there. Not recommended

Great location if you need easy access to the Havabus. Otherwise a bit of a trek to Istanbuls main attractions. Pin code lock on doors and each bunk had a locker and key to keep You and your belongings safe! I loved the curtains across the bunk, giving you your own privacy! Kitchen was pretty average- probably wouldn’t bother using it!!

As usual, Green House Taksim Square was easy to stay at and very welcoming! The staff always make it simple and easy to check in and pay. The rooms are adequate for what they are, although this time ours were a bit cramped because of a mix-up: there is no actual four-person room at Green House, so they gave us two two-person rooms instead, for a lower price.

Great place to stay. Great location with a quiet vibe and a good price. Right next door to wabi Sabi if you want to meet people and party and centrally located in taksim

The super helpful manager was incredibly helpful with lots of my numerous questions about Istanbul and how to get a sim card etc both before arrival and once there. I arrived late (around 0200 am and he stayed up specially to let me in.) Great location for arriving on the Havaist shuttle from the airport, t mins away from the Taksim Square drop off point. Perfect location for that area of Istanbul.

I visited Istanbul many times and I had a particularly great experience this time in Green house hostel, I made a reservation here for one day and I ended up staying more than 3 weeks ! It’s a great value for money, the people working there are extremely helpful, welcoming and very funny ! The place is small and charming and I felt as if I was at home. Unlike other hostels I stayed in in Istanbul, the neighbor is very calm so I could get a very good night sleep, but it’s also a short walking...
