I didn’t want to write this review but seeing how this has been a prob for a few months now based on old reviews. :/ i was bite by multi bed bugs , even got videos and pictures. The property is in such a good area and it’s really pretty and staff was sweet and helpful and issued a refund. I just feel like i need to tell fellow travelers cuz we have so many other things going on while we backpack i don’t you should also go thru this. Hope they really try and fix they problem :/

There were bedbugs in the dorm, and the owner knew about it… but still took in new clients without telling them. The showers were full of hair, it didn’t seem to be cleaned very often.

It seemed like it could have been a great hostel with a great location, but the staff and cleanliness let its down hugely. There were bed bugs and the lack of response from the owners was ridiculous. They continued to put people in the beds and I didn’t see any cleaning going on. The dorms smelt and it had a weird vibe.

An okay hostel. No reception so you have to message them so they come, not ideal if you need someone. Kitchen is well equipped but does not feel super clean, same for the showers. Bed’s comfy and private with the curtain, lots of space for bags. I did see one bed bug once on my bed and realised after that it was one so I did not report it

The hostel has a nice location and the owner is very helpful and friendly. It’s super nice that you get a discount at the brewery and the Mexican restaurant if you live at the hostel. When we stayed at the hostel live music was played every night at the brewery. Just be aware of that if you’re a light sleeper. We found 1 bed bug in our bed which made us go through the entire room but we couldn’t find more bed bugs so maybe it was a lonely one.

The location of the hostel was decent, although can be a bit loud at night due to the bar downstairs, so would not recommend if you are wanting a quiet place to stay. The biggest issue with the hostel was that we had bed bugs and had to leave early, although the owner did refund us our money without issue. I would say the second biggest issue is that there is no "reception" so we often had to wait around for a staff member to be available e.g. to check in, which was a little bit annoying.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hostel was a major disappointment. The most significant issue was the presence of bed bugs in my dorm. This resulted in me having to leave the premises at short notice and adjust my travel plans. Furthermore, the staff were unhelpful and dismissive when I reported the issue. They didn’t inform us about the issue, instead we found out from seeing the mattresses outside the room. They proceed to lie and tell us it was routine cleaning and continued to lie to others.

The hostel and the outside facilities itself are quite nice. The location is good and the facilities are good enough for what you pay. However, there were bedbugs in the dorm - under every mattress!!! It’s not the fault of the hostel that they had some but the manager did not handle the situation well. He was trying to make excuses, pretending to not understand and other stuff. If they clean the whole place really good, I would recommend going there. If not, stay away!
