Hostel Češka Beseda

I’ve been to lots of Hotels, this was the WORST! The atmosphere isn‘t like a hostel at all. It was dirty (bugs in the kitchen, flooded bathroom) and not welcoming at all. My female friend and I left at ten because it was too creepy. The whole level stunk & was only occupied by men (living there permanently?) Even though we upgraded to a double room we still felt uneasy because of loud discussions, door slamming. You can only pay cash, reception dosen’t have change and isn‘t occupied duri...

I thought we‘ve booked a great hostel, cause of the good evaluation, but no! It was overall very dirty, there were toe and finger nails in the bathroom, wet towels on the floor and many bugs in the kitchen. They ran all over the floor, and the kitchen was sticky! The worst part was that on one of the beds were bed bugs, and there was literaly no one in that hostel! No staff in the night and it was kind of scary! Do not recommend this hostel!

Terrible! The hosts were not there and I could not check-in! I spent an awful night.

Ostello si trova a 15 minuti di autobus dalla stazione dei bus/treni, in una zona residenziale. Tuttavia l'autobus che si ferma più vicino all'ostello passa 2 volte all'ora durante la settimana, una il sabato.A 6 minuti a piedi c'è un minimarket. Il mare si trova a 40 minuti di cammino. la nostra camera era sporca: non è stata nemmeno passata l'aspirapolvere e per terra c'erano polvere, insetti morti, cartacce. poche prese in camera. ci sono 2 docce per 30 persone e 2 fornelli.

Only convenient if you have a car, otherwise long bus from town center. not the best facilities or cleanliness but staff were nice enough.

It was ok, but you have to Walk two hours to the beach and it feels like the complete Hostel is empty. The Hostel Manager was nice

Beds were okay, a little “rusty”. Not enough outlets in the room for 6 people. Bathrooms were really dirty, sometimes guests forgot to flush.. only two showers for 20-25 people. At least there was warm water. Plus point for having a kitchen and fridge. The wifi was also very bad and not available in the dorm. Overall got the job done, but there was a reason we tried to spent as less time as possible at the facilities. It was cheap…

The staff was nice. But other than that it felt like the whole hostel was empty. The bathrooms and the kitchen were not clean at all. The beds were really loud and also a screw fell out of one bed.. and you don’t have a socket near your bed so your phone has to charge in the middle of the room on the floor. The location is okay, you have to take a bus to the city center or you can walk for half an hour down to the beach. It’s okay for a night. But I wouldn’t stay longer.

So Long the way to the center. Kitchen is good. Long corridor to bathroom. Air conditioning is good.

A decent hostel, but not the best. The location is pretty bad, but the bus system is pretty easy to use. The staff are friendly and keep the place really clean. A big downside was only having 2 outlets in a 4 bed room. Overall a good experience.

EXCELLENT value! But this place is slightly strange. It is difficult to get into town/to the beach. And reception seemed confused as to why I was there when I checked in. If you’re willing to take the city bus or uber into town, then the budget price makes this place worth it. The building is not just a hostel, there are rooms located in some sort of office/gymnasium/school? Pretty strange, but it’s cheap!

Booked a private double bed, never had a nicer hostel dorm in my life.

The staff was nice. But other than that it felt like the whole hostel was empty. The bathrooms and the kitchen were not clean at all. Für den Preis ein gutes Hostel, das Zimmer war gut. Das Bad hat etwas gestunken und war auch nicht ganz Sauber. Mit dem Auto perfekt, da man rundherum gratis Parkieren kann. Zu Fuss ist die Lage nicht optimal. Aussicht ist dafür schön, zudem war die Mitarbeiterin freundlich.

Amazing! I loved my stay here! It was super nice and clean. The front desk clerk was so lovely. You’ll enjoy your stay. The only problem was that the AC did not work.

La señora que me atendió fue muy amable y servicial estuvo siempre dispuesta a dar ll.mejor de si para que estuviera contento y me sintiera cómodo, a pesar de estar lejos del centro mismo de la ciudad es una zona que tiene unas vistas maravillosas y vale la pena la tranquilidad y la.comodidad ... muy contento con mi visita 😍👍

If you are looking for one hostel in Rijeka you must choose this one because you cannot find better than that. The organisation, composed from few women, is really fantastic and the place is very peaceful, clean and comfortable. Here you can find nice young football players, tourists, workers and families too. I recommend a lot.

L’hôtel est propre et dégage une atmosphère familière grâce à laquelle on se sent bien. Le personnel est courtois et discret. Le seul point négatif est que l’emplacement de l’hôtel ne soit pas proche du centre de Rijeka… malgré tout la station de bus est à 5 minutes et il faut 15 minutes pour arriver dans la ville ( comptez 2€ par trajet )
