+ We had booked a private room, and upon check-in it turned out to be under renovation. The reception claimed they had sent us an email about this, but we never received any email (not even in our junk or spam folders, we have checked multiple times), nor was there any message on Booking.com. We did receive the booking confirmation both by email and in the Booking.com messages, so our email address was clearly correct. They also offered no solution, we were simply turned away and had to find new accommodation late in the evening. They could have at least contacted us (e.g. bt calling or texting us) to confirm that we had seen the cancellation, since we never received any message or any other form of notification about this. On top of that, our booking still shows as confirmed on Booking.com, so clearly no effort was made to properly inform us. Extremely poor service.

- Esperienza terribile, siamo arrivati con un zaino e una valigia zaino sulle spalle e subito la reception ci blocca chiedendoci di togliere le scarpe senza neanche darci una mano. Tolte le scarpe, un check in lunghissimo, sempre con i zaini sulle spalle, ci volevano illustrare tutte le escursioni. Chiedendo aiuto per un trasferimento privato a Sihanoukville, ci hanno risposto che ci volevano 10 ore e loro non potevano aiutarci. Vista la stanza ( con una porta su un balcone sul retro che non poteva chiudersi ) abbiamo deciso, dopo aver pagato la notte, di spostarci in un altro hotel dove ci hanno trovato il trasferimento all’orario da noi richiesto e necessario per non perdere la coincidenza con il traghetto ( alla fine ci abbiamo messo solo 6 ore e non non 10 come comunicato dalla struttura ). Fuori dall’Hotel la strada non è asfaltata. Concludendo, la gestione del cliente è inesistente e sicurante l’accoglienza può essere migliorata !

- The door doesn’t fit the private rooms properly - you can literally fit your fingers through at the top. There are also inexplicable holes in the bathroom wall. This all leads through to the loud, echoing stairwell that feeds the entire hostel and all the dorms. This means that you can hear everything that anyone does all the time - people coming home drunk at midnight or later, people talking on the phone, staff cleaning etc. It also means that the air conditioning doesn’t work that well. Staff were rubbish too - housekeeping asks to borrow your key to clean the room which is dodgy and clean the hostel dorms first even though you pay more, we had to wait for half an hour for them to do it most days. Don’t get your laundry done here either as they damaged our clothes with some sort of blue ink. Go elsewhere for private rooms, they’re an afterthought to the hostel dorms here.
+ I can’t say I liked much about this hostel.
- I booked a private room. The room was filthy, especially the bathroom. There is a lot of noise echoing from other rooms and from below making it impossible to sleep. There were no blankets or comforter provided, only a thin sheet that was insufficient to sleep with. The owner is rude, arrogant and greedy and only seems to care about money. She refused to refund me even though my booking allowed for a free cancellation at any time. I’d suggest all travelers stay away from this hostel.
After reading the reviews about the bedbugs, we still gave it a try. Please don't go here until they fixed the bedbug issue. I've been bitten all over my legs!! Horrible that the owner is denying it in the comments on the other reviews :(
I was bitten maybe 30-40 times in straight lines all over my body. I suspect it to be Bed bugs but did not find any… I did see a couple small blood stains on my sheets, a common indicator of bed bugs The girl working at reception tried to convince me it was biting gnats, but my intuition is telling me otherwise… Beyond that they did not offer any assistance… Beware…

- I got icthy to the point I went to clinic because there was bedbugs bite me for the bed I stay. I hope you consider to do a deep clean for a hygiene.
We had bedbugs in this hostel. It was already late, so we couldn’t move to another hostel and therefore were moved to a 12-person dorm. The next day, we asked for a refund for being downgraded since we paid for a 5-person dorm and we were leaving a night earlier due to the situation. The staff refused a refund because they have a ‘no refund policy’ and gaslit us by saying they were ‘normal bugs’ which they definitely weren’t. People we met on Koh Rong had bed bugs in the same dorm ...
If you’re a light sleeper do not stay here, it’s right near a funeral home and I was woken up twice at 6am due to the funeral procession. Aside from that a lovely stay, but ask for a room away from the back of the building if you’re a light sleeper.

Had a good stay here, staff were lovely, dorms clean and the food was good. Doing the tour through the hostel was a good way to meet people otherwise it’s a little quiet in the evenings. Would recommend!
Nice hostel, nothing fancy, but was fine for 2 nights. Was clean and the rooftop bar was a great place to relax and get food/drinks. The room was kept really cool with the ac which was great. The tour I booked through the hostel was really good too. The only things that concerned me were that the dorm doors didn’t lock and that the showers on the bottom floor had curtains rather than doors so it didn’t feel super secure
The Hostel does the job the beds are nice and the roof top bar is nice, there was one member of staff who was a legend and had only just started he made it a lot better of a stay but the hostel didn’t really have any social aspect/stuff going on. It’s perfect to stay for the night/2 for the tour of battambang
Couldn’t fault it. The deluxe dorms were spacious, clean and comfy. Had lockers for valuables and space under the bed for your big rucksack. Bathrooms were always clean too. Rooftop did good food and drink and was a socialble area. Did the half day tour with the hostel and really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend if you’re visiting Battambang.
I thought this was a nice hostel for a quiet part of Cambodia. The rooftop bar was lovely and the day tours arranged by the hostel are great. Only negatives are I don’t think 1 shower is enough to be shared within a 12/14 person dorm. It was very often difficult to find a free shower. And secondly, you can be a bit stuck if you want to be social or make a call past 11:30PM. With the upstairs bar shutting, reception asking you to leave and no social spaces available - it can be a bit tricky.
The dorms do not lock so I did not feel safe overnight. There is also only one toilet/shower in the 14 bed dorms which isn’t ideal

A decent little hostel not far from the main part of Battambang. The staff were always good vibes - especially the guy on the evening shift!! Great to chat to about general stuff as well as being helpful with bookings. Rooms were big but they were proactive at keeping them cool. Didn’t have an issue with there only being one shower and toilet per room. Overall a great stay!

+ Very friendly staff, in a fantastic location in Battambang. Rooftop was nice and with a good menu. Clean throughout.
- The temperature in the rooms is not managed very well. The air conditioning is turned off in the day but is manually set to run throughout the night. This means it does get extremely cold in the night. There are blankets available but it could be controlled better.
amazing stay, wonderfull staff, good ac in dorms, a bit hot in shower area but would definitely come back!
No complaints, was great for a short stay in Battambang!

+ Big room with balcony. Nice staff, they do their own tours.
- Nothing.
- Le point négatif est qu’il voulait absolument garder mon passeport…
+ Room was clean and staff were very helpful and polite. Also helped with medication we needed refrigerating and were very accomodating. Rooftop bar was good place to chill and food was decent there
- Top part of wall had light holes and curtains didnt go that high so meant any morning daylight came directly through so sleeping in was difficult
