The Hotel Pleasure Home Inn

+ Staff are very good. Especially Kumar , who deals my stay.size of the room also big.

- The room floor was not clean , especially the bed and pillow sheets they kept some one used and smelly. Later I informed staff to change the bedsheets they changed.. but the clothes are very old and torn.

- - The rooms are not very clean and aren't in good state either - The hotel area is centrical but quite noisy (difficulty to sleep) - Hotel staff doesn't speak proper english (difficult communication), only the manager Kumar speaks english, but he is quite rude and wasn't clear at all- we felt scammed! - Breakfast quantity is very little and not the best

+ The location is not too bad.

- Unfortunately the facilities mentioned are in fact not there, i.e. steam room, etc. The bathroom was still entirely covered in water when I arrived, like somebody took a shower directly before. Hair in the bathroom and on the floor. The bedding had spots (this picture is even the second one after they changed the first...). Chair in the room was broken, light on the bed not working, the curtain was very thin, so the light from the lamps from outside were lighting the room ... Wouldn't recommend this place.

+ Centrale, ma la sera fino alle 22.30/23.00 c’è qualcuno che lavora sopra la stanza, picchiando con un martello credo. Fuori la stanza si sente sempre casino, tanto casino. La mia stanza puzzava di posacenere, come se generazioni di turisti ci avessero fumato dentro. Kathmandu mi ha fatto davvero schifo!

- Look good on pictures but not in reality. Had over 9 in rating. You would at least expect towels that were not full of old stains then.

+ There’s not much to like, except the central location in Thamel (don’t no if it’s a pro, though). Very basic run down property with cockroaches, paper door and tiny bathroom. Relatively quiet for such a location.

+ Pros: 1. They packed our breakfast because we had to catch our bus before the usual breakfast serving time of this hotel. But it was minimal.

- Cons: 1. It can not be a three-star hotel. Even though the room was spacious, the curtain was torn, there were cracks in the wall, the pillow covers got discolored, and all the furniture was old. 2. The washroom was very small. The door had a problem. I could not even be able to close the door. 3. They provided only two small pieces of soap as toiletries. 4. The hotel had no card facility. I had to pay in cash. 4. It took almost 5 to 10 minutes to get hot water at water taps. This problem is everywhere in Nepal Since they use solar for hitting water. But this is very irritating because it is not practical for anyone to turn on a faucet and wait for 10 minutes before washing his face. 5. Since the room's floor also gets cold, they were supposed to provide disposable slippers. It was missing .

+ Assez sommaire mais bien situé dans thamel. Il y a un décalage entre les photos et la réalité cependant le personnel est sympa.

- Les ressorts des matelas sont très inconfortables

+ I felt truly comfortable at this hotel in Kathmandu. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. My room was clean and I especially loved the beautiful terrace where you can enjoy breakfast. The location is quiet, yet close to many attractions. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel!

+ Everything. Quiet neighborhood, super central, the manager and the staff are SO nice and welcoming. The room was huge, good water pressure and good breakfast. Perfect quality/price. Don’t hesitate, just go there and thank me later ✨

- יש קצת שמש בבוקר והוילונות לא מספיק כהים בשביל להסתיר. ומצעים נקיים אבל אין להם ריח הכי טוב.

+ Had a great stay at hotel family home. In the heart of Thamel but tucked away in a quiet alley so it’s feels like a bit of a sanctuary. I ended up staying many nights and it was clean and the staff were very helpful and relaxed. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Thamel.
