Sea Castle Backpackers

Simply terrible!!! You have to ring every time you want to enter the building. The bathrooms stink. There is an extra fee for paying by card. The staff are extremely unfriendly. Almost only dubious permanent guests live in the hostel. The cleaning lady wakes me up because my backpack is on the floor and it's not allowed to be there because she wants to wipe it, but there are no lockers. To get my deposit back I had to go to some restaurant that wasn't close at all. Worst hostel I've ever been

The description of the hostel does not match the fact. I booked a bed in a room with 10 people, but I was checked in with 16 people. Moreover, my bunk was on the third floor of a three-tier bed, where the pillow lay next to the air conditioner duct. When asked to refund my money for the reservation, they refused, saying that they could not do it. I do not recommend this hostel to anyone.

Couldn't find the hostel and when we rang to find it we got what sounded like a drunk man the other end of the phone that was genuinely the most unhelpful person ever. Had to stay elsewhere

Room smelled like moth balls, and I asked them to spray something nice over it but the smell was always there. they kept running out of toilet paper and also soap for ppl to wash their hands after going to the bathroom. Gross. I smelled waste in the room at one point too. Maybe because they make you throw paper in the garbage, not toilet, after wiping yourself. It is near a tram, but is 43 floors up and the neighborhood is nothing special. They don’t have any info for tourists there like mos...

The good: First off I’d like to say Olivia was a blessing at this property, her and her team were very friendly and helpful during my whole stay. The place was throughly cleaned all day long which was nice. The bad: Simple low cost mechanical fixes like leaks in the bathroom are ignored which caused puddles of water and a foul smelling bathroom. I also think the owner was throwing party’s until 6am and had random people in the hostel who didn’t stay there and they had full access to your ...

+ I stay for the second time. It went great! Location - 5 minutes to the beach, 5 minutes to the tram, 10 to the metro. Great palm view from balcony and the windows. Shared pool on the whole house, but all morning in the shade, so the water is cool, perhaps in the afternoon better. Shop in the house with a scarce assortment, but on the territory of sadaf there is a bigger supermarket (a little to the left from the exit.overall best place to stay ,you can enjoy your vacation

To start off, the view from the hostel is a bonus I truly didn't foresee! The rooms, bathrooms and the common area are clean and well-maintained. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful. Happy to have chosen this place!

Very nice hostel. Good staff, amazing location, especially the view from the balcony was very eye apeling. Especially Sara, Olivia and amit did a very good job to make sure the guest is happy and maintained the hostel very neat and clean

It was my first ever stay at any hostel and it felt like home. Would definitely come back
