It was loud, all night, could not rest, because the patio door did not close securely, and sound pollution from the party on the streets and traffic came in. also the night audit person was blasting music clips at reception, which my room was close to. Great location but not peaceful and not as class as it looks online. Pass. Also the breakfast was mediocre.

Die Unterkunft liegt in einer sehr lauten Straße. Wir hatten leider ein Zimmer, das zur Straße zeigte. Die ganz Nacht bis früh morgens wurde laut Musik gespielt und wir hatten dadurch wirklich Probleme zu schlafen. Sonst ein gutes Hostel mit super leckeren Frühstück!

This is a good, clean, value for money hostel in a great location. The only point that you should be aware of that, which is not advised upon booking is that it is across the road from a nightclub which has music blaring out until the early hours. Upon our arrival we did wonder why there were ear plugs on the bedside table. We definitely found out later

This hostel was under major construction. Unless you wanted to pay to be served at the rooftop bar there was no area to hang out in. There was workers and construction materials everywhere which included drilling and banging noises all day. They are even working on rooms that are occupied. It was recommended that we give our valuables to the hotel staff as workers would be in our room renovating. Great location. Definitely a busy area. If you are looking for a tranquil place. This may not be the right fit. Operates more like a hotel. Much older crowd. Hostle doesn’t have travel support so make sure you have plans ahead of attending. Day excursions offered cater to locals not travelers. Limited English for those who don’t speak Spanish be try well. Staff were very friendly and accommodating but atmosphere isn’t traditional hostle like.

A fantastic location, very near the main plaza and only one street away from the main bars / restaurants area. The rooftop terrace area is a really nice place to sit with a drink with a view over the city, albeit it is a little quiet up there and not got the party feel of some of the other rooftop bars in the area. Only small complaint would be that breakfast finishes at 8:30 AM so not much chance of a lie in. Other than that, it works well as a place to stay at a reasonable price.

Nice and cozy hostel located close to all the touristic things you may want to do in a short period of time. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The only thing is you can hear the noise from nightlife of neighboring area, but it wasn't bad to impede you resting.

Süßes Hostel, im Zentrum von Arequipa. Man darf nur nicht vergessen, dass es direkt an der Straße zu den vielen Bars liegt und daher nachts lauter werden kann. Wen das nicht stört, fühlt sich hier gut aufgehoben!

Nice and quiet hostel with a nice rooftop. Breakfast was good. Always felt safe. Very well located.

More of a hotel than a hostel, you could even order room service! staff were so lovely and breakfast on the roof terrace was delicious. room was cleaned every day and the place is right around the corns from plaza de armas!

I highly recommend staying at Le Foyer. The location is right in the hub, the staff are super nice and let us check in early. And the breakfast is wonderful.

Le Foyer is een prettig hostel, de locatie is gunstig. Het ligt overigens wel naast wat feest locaties waardoor er tot diep in de nacht veel muziek te horen was. De kamer was schoon en indien wenselijk kon deze elke dag schoongemaakt worden. Het ontbijt wat bij de overnachting zit is niet heel bijzonder, maar wel prettig dat het er is.

Cozy hostel with comfortable private rooms. Not a very social hostel but the sunset rooftop bar more than made up for that.

Just competed a 3 night stay at Le Foyer and I’d highly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay here. I’m not sure you could call it a hostel as it is more like a hotel with inside the private rooms! Room was cleaned daily and a short 3 minute walk to plaza de Armas! Nice rooftop bar with a great view but was more expensive then other rooftop bars in the area! Rooms can hear all the street noise so being earplugs and you’ll be fine.

A real gem of a hostel, in such a great location. Super close to the city centre and walking distance to some amazing cafes and restaurants. The whole team of workers were very helpful and always happy to assist. The Sunset bar had a great view over the city. We had an early start one morning and due to us missing the breakfast we were provided with a breakfast box as well.

The hostel is in a great location in the centre of Arequipa and bed in the private room was comfy. It is really loud at night but fine with earplugs! Would definitely recommend

The place is nice, but I heard lot of noise from the outside at night. My room had not other ventilation than leaving the window opened. they give you earplugs for free anyway.

The hostel was very nice and clean. It was calm and close to everything.
