Bababuy Hostel

+ I specifically booked an all-female dormitory. I arrived late at 11pm, checked in, paid, and was then taken to my room. It was only at this point that I discovered I had not been placed in a female dormitory at all. I immediately raised this issue with staff and was told that the hostel had “overbooked” and that they “didn’t know” I had reserved a female dormitory. This explanation is not credible. After reviewing the amount I paid, I noticed it was lower than my original booking, which strongly suggests that I was deliberately reassigned to a different room without my knowledge or consent. At no point during check-in was this change communicated to me, which feels deceptive—especially as it was only revealed once I was already in the room and had limited options to address the situation. This is particularly unacceptable given that I am a solo female traveler who specifically chose a female dormitory for safety. Hostels have a responsibility to respect such bookings, especially when they relate directly to personal safety and well-being. Instead I was out in a room with three other men. Furthermore, no apology or refund was offered. The only option presented to me was to cancel my booking, something that was not realistic at 11:30pm, in an unfamiliar location, as a solo traveler. This placed me in a difficult and vulnerable position, effectively leaving me with no alternative.

- It’s unacceptable for a hostel to take advantage of the fact female travellers specifically choose hostels based on offers of a female dormitory, and then upon arrival, fail to honour this. The attitude of the male manager was also disgraceful and disrespectful. 0 stars.

+ Veryyyyyy bad!!! I had to wait 1,5 hour from the opening of the breakfast time to get one egg and a bad piece of bread! Dont go here and especially dont take the breakfast!!!!!

- Nada no tenía agua ni para bañarse la verdad no lo recomiendo me fui sin bañarme horrible experiencia

- Atendimento ruim, quarto ruim, não tem ventilação (ar condicionado ou ventilador), tinha barata no quarto, água extremamente gelada no chuveiro e na pia, ficamos presos na recepção, pq a recepcionista nunca estava lá, queríamos sair e não tinha ninguém que abrisse a porta. Não tem chave nem botão de abertura, só a recepção que abre e não havia ninguém lá, ficamos quase meia hora esperando alguém aparecer. Café da manhã só as 8h, pedimos pra que fosse pelo menos oferecido uma xícara de café às 7:30, pois precisávamos sair cedo para pegar um voo, não foi feito. As fotos não condizem com a realidade, o hostel velho, mal conservado, cheio de gatos, lugar ruim.

+ Recomendado para pasar la noche antes o después del aeropuerto. Varios espacios comunes por piso, muchos baños, cama comoda. Se escucha el ruido de los aviones pero es logico por la cercania.

- El personal de la mañana con muy malos modos, no me ayudo a que salga agua caliente de la ducha, tardo mucho en preparar el desayuno que fue muy malo: pan, un huevo frito y cafe malo. Desperfectos de la habitación que se podrian arreglar: la llave no anda, una ventana esta pintada de blanco para bloquear lo que hay del otro lado pero deja espacios, ventana no cerraba.

+ Super hilfsbereiter und netter Host! Kleines, familiäres Hostel, Doppelbetten für alle, zwei Kissen und Decken, große Locker, Handtücher werden gestellt, wenn man mag. Gepäck kann verschlossen aufbewahrt werden

- Matratze war mir etwas zu weich.

+ Solo me quedé unas horas para descansar porque tenía un vuelo muy temprano, tranquilo y muy cerca al aeropuerto

+ Uffff es demasiado cerca al aeropuerto, es lo justo para descansar y hacer el paso a otro destino

+ Super cómodo y cerca al aeropuerto, todos muy respetuosos y el servicio excelente
