Harmony Old Town Hostel & Pool Bar

- Une chambre minuscule (vous ne pourrez contourner votre lit que d’un seul côté). Absence de système d’aération dans la chambre. Pas de fenêtre. Une odeur de moisie constante. Les murs sont en cartons, vous entendez tout ce qui se passe dans le couloir, l’ascenseur et la réception Le rideau est placé sous le puit de lumière laissant passer toute la lumière pendant la nuit… Une catastrophe.

- Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience during our stay, mainly due to the rainy season in Hoi An. We completely understand that such weather conditions can be challenging to manage, but it seemed that the staff was not well-trained to handle the situation. Basic services were lacking — for instance, no water was offered, and the general organization and cleanliness of the common areas were not maintained. The staff were often absent from the reception and seemed unsure how to assist guests. We weren’t expecting special treatment, only a basic level of hospitality. The staff members we interacted with were polite and gentle, so this is not a reflection on them personally. However, better management or someone with more experience in handling difficult situations could have made a big difference. Sadly, we decided to leave earlier than planned due to the lack of service

- Horrible todo. Las zonas comunes y la habitación sucias y deterioradas. Polvo de meses sin limpiar. Agujeros en el falso techo.El desayuno no es buffet y sirven 1 plato bastante malo. Ruidos de roedores.

- 他の口コミにもあったが、写真ではオシャレに見えるが設備が最悪。金庫、シャワー（水量が特に最悪）、テーブル、バスルームのドアが壊れている。バスタブ、トイレには茶色の染み。防音がまるで駄目。前の宿泊客の使用後のバスタオルがかけたままでした。清潔さを求める人はきっと、ひっくり返るでしょう。サービスに関しては文化の違いがあるんだなといった感じでした。

+ Nous n‘avons rien aimé car à peine avions nous découvert la chambre que nous nous sommes enfuis. D’ailleurs nous aurions du le faire dès notre arrivée dans le hall désert comme si les rats avaient quitté le navire.

- Le hall était vide. Aucune trace de client. Le réceptionniste parlait à peine anglais. La chambre était sale. Dans le lit des crottes de souris. Par terre des cafards morts. Pas d’eau ds la salle de bains. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre. Nous en avons vu 3: toutes ds le même état.

+ The location is very convenient and it has a swimming pool covered from the sun. WiFi worked good.

- The experience was so bad that we changed hotels and looked for another one. Not really the service you expect when you book a four star hotel with good reviews on Booking. I think there has recently been a change in ownership, which would explain the drop in the standards. To start with we booked a room with a terrace and a view, and we received a room with no terrace and a tiny window overlooking a backyard. The room was also dirty: yellow stains in the toilet and rubbish from the previous guest on the floor. After the first night, the towels were not changed and the room was not cleaned. As we have a baby who generates a lot of waste (nappies, wipes etc.) we had to take the rubbish down ourselves in the evening. Then there is the issue of the "breakfast buffet". On arrival at the hotel we were told that we could only choose between three options for breakfast the next day: pho soup, noodles or a bowl of fruit and cereal (with uncooked oatmeal...). We were also given a plate of watermelon and a rather bad coffee. Next day they also offered us the option to pick eggs and bacon. But that's their "breakfast buffet". Finally, it's a silly detail, but in the description they say it's surrounded by rice fields. We are still looking for them.

+ The location is away from the busy tourist streets but next to lots of nice coffee shops. The staff were very friendly however upon check in, one was very ill, coughing so much, that they shouldn’t have been working

- The rooms are smaller than appear in the photos, fairly dusty and the view in the photos have been edited to remove a big electricity pylon right outside the pool / balcony view. The bed is very hard and uncomfortable and squeaky - and the bath tub in the room didn’t have enough hot water to fill up more than an inch meaning using it was out of the question. As expected for older buildings, it’s very noisy with dated rooms and furniture - but the rooms were also dusty and overall did not feel too clean.

+ I had a great stay in this beautiful hotel. Very clean rooms , close to the action but far away enough to be quiet. Very helpful staff. Thuong was great. I can definitely recommend

- The bathroom water pressure was a bit low but it became better once I mentioned it to the wonderful staff at the desk

+ Nhân viên tiếp tân dễ thương cực kì luôn. Còn chu đáo bật máy lạnh trước cho khách . Cách phố cổ tầm 10p đi bộ nên với giá tiền như thế này thì mình thấy ổn áp nha . Phòng ốc hơi nhỏ nhưng bù lại sạch sẽ . Sez quay laii nếu có dịp ạ

- The common areas seemed dirty (there was some litter and dust on a staircase since we arrived and it was not cleaned for whole stay). Also there was a smell coming from bathroom pipes.
