Lemonsea Onomichi

Spotlessly clean and surprisingly big. Location is a bit odd and there isn’t much nearby other than a big supermarket. Still it’s not far to walk to the train station. This place is surprisingly large and i saw it was used by big groups (I think a school trip possibly?) and families so not really one for making friends.

Awesome place. Great facilities. Lovely staff.

Clean and welcoming atmosphere, comfortable beds and facilities, and a great breakfast and delicious coffee in the morning! Exactly what I was looking for.

Beautifully decorated and clean hostel. The facilities were excellent and extremely well maintained, with thoughtful communal areas and kitchens for guests to use for free. Not only that, but the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They helped us to post our bags and gave us excellent recommendations on which bike rental services to use. very great stay at Lemonsea Onomichi!! at first i was skeptical about a 15 bed dorm but the pods were great and it was very quiet!! The facilities were very clean and modern. great value 10/10

We were only at Lemonsea for one night but we really liked it! It was very affordable. We were in a 15-bed dorm, which was very quiet and comfortable. The beds had privacy curtains which was a really nice touch, so you felt like you had your own space. There were only small lockers on offer for storing your stuff, but we weren't really bothered about that. We were surprised at how few showers there were - I think there were only a few on our floor for many, many more people - but, saying that, w...

Had great stay for 3 days in Onomichi. The staff were kind and helpful, the beds comfortable and clean, location was just a few minute walk outside of the main tourist zone- there is a really fun thrift shop across the street. I hope that you stay longer than a cycle day and get to experience more of what Onomichi has to offer!

I absolutely loved my stay at Lemonsea! Such a beautiful place and while quieter and a more calm atmosphere compared to other hostels I’ve stayed at, I made great connections and community! It was a perfect location to depart from for my bike ride to Imabari and the staff had great recommendations!

This Hostel is just one of the best in Japan. So clean, so beautiful, interiors so nice. I had the best stay here I was supposed to be here for just 1 night ended up staying 3. Just 10/10

Incredible value for lodging, great beds that were fairly large compared to other hostels, lots of space in the mixed dorm room in general as well. Very clean, no perma-stink like some hostels. There is a man at the front desk who somehow knows every nickname for your hometown and honestly I'd come back to Onomichi just to talk to him more.

This was by far the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! Super friendly staff, a beautiful common room and kitchen, incredibly spacious and clean. Highly recommend!!

Had a good stay before biking the shinimani kaido! The staff were very helpful and the facilities were clean and well maintained.

Lemonsea Onomichi is a fantastic hostel – stylish, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The staff are warm and helpful, the café and lounge are perfect for relaxing, and the location is just a short walk from the station and main sights. It feels more like a boutique hotel than a hostel. Highly recommended!

Had a fantastic stay here the night before cycling. Staff were very helpful especially when I arrived past check in time, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and nice to use. Overall a very well run and beautiful hostel would highly recommend it

10/10, the most spacious and comfortable hostel, I've been at. Super clean, always felt safe and secure with the locks. Vivian at the check in desk was very accommodating and helped my friend and I when we told her we were cycling the Shimanami cycling route. They do bike rentals as well. The lounge area is nice and spacious and had very chill vibes. Would definitely recommend staying here!
