The workers treated us very not nice from the start

Me hospede 2 noches en periodo de carnaval. Los precios una locura de caros para lo que es realmente el hostel paque 136€ la noche por Una habitacion de 6 sin casi espacio para tener las mochilas, para entrar en la habitacion twnias que ir saltando mochilas del restonde huéspedes. El desayuno muy sencillo para valer 4€ un huevo duro un plátano y 2 tostadas. Sinceramente tambien me ha decepcionado. Mi habitacion tenía suciedad por debajo de la cama. La puerta estaba agujereada.

Horrible. They stole my bed, didn’t refund me, and then still gave the bed to someone else. My friend was there and said it was so dirty and horrible staff.

No recomiendo este lugar, me mostraron la habitación del dormitorios femeninos y el mixto y son demasiado pequeños. Jamás había visto habitaciones de hostal tan horribles. Una de las habitaciones era tan pequeña, que ni siquiera había espacio para caminar o dejar tus cosas o abrir tu maleta. Además de qué al ser tan pequeñas el olor a humano se encierra y carecen de ventilación para el aroma. Hay mejores hostales en Río por el mismo precio o similar. Preferirme antes que quedarme ah�...

Super dirty and smells like piss in the rooms. Toilets were disgusting and bedsheets damp. No washingservice or washingmachine available even tho they claim on Hostelworld that there is. A good secure area 15 minuts from copacabana beach tho, convinient enough for new years eve (even tho its crazy i paid 500€ for 4 nights in a bad hostel)

One of the worst hostel I’ve been at. It smelled like urine everywhere The showers was moldy and unclean The toilets didn’t work so always full of other people’s shit Someone took my bag with my phone. One of the staff saw who but refused to tell me and many others had problems with him. The room was not like the pictures at all, waay worse and only one socket in the whole room. To much to write here but overall a bad experience, don’t stay here!!

The hostel was one of the worst I’ve stayed in in a long time. I booked a room with a private bathroom, but it was basically unusable because the door wouldn’t even close properly. Some of the staff were unfriendly and not helpful at all. The owner was by far the worst part — extremely rude and denied access to the common areas after checkout, even though I had paid €40 per night for a full week. Completely unacceptable and definitely not worth the money.

Our room was absolutely disgusting it was more like a prison cell, we had no ac the whole time we was there and we didn’t paid £400 each over Xmas and new year. The staff and people were great and the atmosphere was amazing but the room itself was honestly hell it was too small for the amount of people in the dorm

DONT STAY HERE!!! This hostel is filthy, there were hairballs in the shower and dirt everywhere, the room we stayed in was disgusting. We chose to leave after one night having booked three. The first night we were there and the next two nights my friend was there, the water broke every single night meaning the toilets weren’t usable. The toilets were full of peoples’ business from the night before which was dirty and stank. The showers were rubbish and the air con broke too.

My camera got stolen from one of the staff members. They accidentally cleaned my bed instead another “because they thoght i was leaving”.Everything of the stuff was at the reception, only the camera was missing and we were the only people in that room by that time (the roommates arrived later).Since then, the manager is ignoring me after he said he would send me the footage(never happened!). Also, there was a rat in the citchen, everything was dirty and the toilets were all clogged.

Overall great stay, rooms are clean, staff is great. Especially Daniel who has made the stay so great! Highly recommend this hostel very social and the location is great.

The hotel is located very close to Copacabana beach, although a bit far from the city center. If you want to visit the center, it's a bit of a walk.

So far the best authentic hostel in Rio, I enjoyed my stay, the location is amazing. Super close to the beach and restaurants and shops. Also by any questions Lari helped me out so much, I even was able to extend my stay!! She was amazing!

Lovely hostel, lots of events and super friendly staff and volunteers. Great location 10 mins walk from Copacabana beach. Cooking space is small but overall lots of communal spaces so v easy to socialise!

The staff was super nice! Daniel was super helpful and friendly. Amazing location. I stayed here for over a month and would definitely recommend it to solo travelers. Affordable and completely worth it! I’ll definitely be staying here again.

Bed's were very squeaky, I almost left a day early because I just could't sleep because of the noisy beds.

Great hostel with a really nice atmosphere. The rooms were clean, the location was great and everything was well organized. A special shoutout to Daniel — he was honestly the best part of the stay. Super friendly, incredibly helpful, and always made sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable. Thanks again for making the experience even better. Would definitely stay here again!

Way Better then i expected!

I felt really comfortable during my stay! Great stuff and very flexible reception! Also there are lots of fun Activities which you can book at reception.

Franchement, assez basique comme hostel. Rien d’incroyable. Les chambres sont très petites et la propreté des espaces laisse à désirer. Sinon, côté emplacement, c’est super. Très proche de la plage, on peut y aller à pied. La porte de l’hostel n’est jamais barrée, donc n’importe qui peut y entrer. J’ai moins aimé cet aspect.

Stayed here for 3 weeks on and off in Rio it’s a fantastic hostel, great location not far from the beach with heaps of restaurants around, good room and well kept facilities. Shoutout to the reps especially Vickey who was great, they really elevated the whole experience with events happening every night, cannot recommend this place enough to anyone visiting Rio 10/10

Très belle auberge, idéalement située près de la plage. Super ambiance, plein de belles rencontres, et une petite mention spéciale à Lewis et Yannis, deux volontaires au top ! ✨🌞

Reinigungspersonal war bemüht, aufgrund der zahlreichen Gäste waren die Bäder trotzdem sehr schnell dreckig. Pro Etage nur drei Toiletten und zwei Duschen, was zu wenig war. In den super engen Zimmern lag nach knapp vier Wochen Karnevalsende noch immer entsprechend zurückgelassene Sachen herum, die das Personal wohl nicht zuordnen konnte. Hier muss eine Lösung gefunden werden (z.B. 1x wöchentliche Grundreinigung und jeder muss seine persönlichen Gegenstände auf sein Bett legen)

The hostel itself is nice, good atmosphere and very nice staff. There is a big noise problem, starting with the fact that the shared balcony is right down from the rooms and there is noise at night, and also very loud construction works that happened early in the morning very close to the hostel. The location is fine, not very close to everything but also not far.
