overall it's ok. There are three volunteers who are amazing people. The breakfast includes the best pancakes ever. The female Europeans are weird, antisocial, and immature. one of them screams obnoxiously and at random times. they make me feel uncomfortable so I left. but I miss those delicious pancakes and those who make them. they are welcoming, kind, and warm people. but it only takes one entitled brat to ruin an experience. and as one gentleman said, we are paying guests not their babysitter

I booked a private room for 6 days with AC and was checked into a room with only 2 fans. The bathroom had a sewage pipe from the ceiling that was leaking literal feces. We had to pay upfront for the room which is normal but if I would’ve seen the awful conditions of the room I wouldn’t have paid and gone to a different hostel. I was there no longer than 30 minutes and I asked for a refund and they would not work with me. I would recommend to check out your room before paying.

Hoped for at least a bed to sleep for 3 nights. It was much worse than we hoped. The private deluxe with ensuite did not have AC as advertised when booking. The floors, side bench, side table were all sticky. Bathroom was gnarly. Fan was loud. The only natural light was from windows looking right onto a common space therefore had to keep curtains closed. Windows were shattered. The entire place was very loud. Couldn’t sleep until 3:30AM. Felt like sleep deprivation torture. Had to leave early

DO NOT STAY HERE. In the all female dorm, the bar noise was so loud my bed was shaking. The room was not clean as there were brown smudge marks on the wall next to the bed. The staff also charged me 150 pesos for the key deposit and only gave back 100. They said they never charge 150 so the person at the front desk pocketed the extra money. And they were rude and accused me of stealing shoes and when they realized they made a mistake they didn’t apologize for any of it.

We got a private room with an en-suite. The sheets and the floor were dirty and sticky. The bathroom had mold and was filthy. Our room was right beside the main entrance and check-in area, so it was loud at night. Albeit great location and nice volunteers as staff, it was one of the least comfortable hostels I've stayed in.

The hostel is very dirty. I booked a private room that had windows with no glass so I got bit at night and no curtains so people on the terrace could see in my room… I asked for a refund and they refused. They offered me a different room but that room smelt so bad like sewage that we just left the hostel 4 days early. The location is amazing! I enjoyed hanging on the terrace. There’s so much potential in this hostel I’m sad I had a bad time.

I booked the private room w shared bath. Balcony door couldn’t lock, dirty sheets, not a single shelf or a place to put belongings on, ceiling fan felt like was it going to fall off; absolutely disgusting bathroom, toilet had a water leakage, doorknobs felt greasy & sticky floors. Very loud place, which I expected since it is indeed located on a main road, that’s the only plus. Didn’t end up spending the night here. Not reimbursement was given, they only take cash payments. Nice volunteers...

The staff was very kind however, the atmosphere was unkind due to cleaning and common areas. The distribution of the bedrooms was strange, there was beds in the hall between common areas. In general the place needs maintenance.

No había luz en la habitaciones dijeron que por un problema que tuvieron pero no avisaron para poder cambiar el hospedaje había camas y gente durmiendo en los pasillos, la puerta de la habitación no tenia llave, no se sentía para nada un lugar seguros. Recepción bien desayuno mal, no volvería. Gracias

Overall got what i paid for, but the windows did not have nets, and there no option to close them completely, which created a mosquito party. On top of that there where flickering fairy lights right outside the bedroom window, which was just cruel. I understand some lighting is nesseccery out there, but does it have to flicker?

L'esperienza è stata piacevole ma basterebbe davvero poco per migliorare! Tra i pro sicuramente ci sono la bellissima terrazza panoramica e la posizione dell'ostello super comoda e centrale, la colazione e l'atmosfera rilassata. Come contro invece abbiamo notato la camera molto spoglia senza scaffali su cui appoggiare le cose se non un divano che pareva piuttosto sudicio. La camera non era pulitissima e di notte si sentiva gente parlare. Non sono accettati pagamenti con carta.

Good friendly hostel. Close to the malecon. Good starting and ending point for travels.

Stayed in 4 bed female dorm & the water from the shower was leaking all the way into the room. The bathroom was a lot more beat up than the last time I went-three years ago. The chat was dead and there was no kind of activities being offered through the hostel. The first day I got there there was no hot water to shower...but good thing it was hot so it evened out. I asked a girl at the front desk one day if she knew where the closest ATM was...& she told me to figure it out & google :-)no help

This hostel is amazing! The rooms are so spacious and clean, it has a beautiful rooftop patio, and breakfast was included. We would come again! Very good value for your money.

Muy cerca del malecón , la atención es como una familia , el personal que trabaja allí súper amable y atento sin dudas volveré a quedarme allí

Great location, staff were friendly, welcoming, happy to impart tips on where to go, eat and explore and made the hostel a very enjoyable stay.

Great staff! Everyone employed there was great and easy to engage with. Close to everything. The only downsides are the kitchen and furniture. Some of the seats are painful to sit on. Looks cool but painful furniture. Staff does a good job of keeping the place clean. Showers don’t drain well (please clean) and water temp is not consistent. It changes temps while you shower.

Beware of booking here... The good: The staff were wonderful and very kind. I have nothing bad to say about the staff who work at the hostel. It is also a great location, close to the malecon. The bad: The rooms were not clean, and when I turned on the shower, it soaked the entire bathroom. I booked a private room with air conditioning and an ensuite bathroom, but when I arrived, I was given a room with no AC. The only one with AC they had available had a shared bathroom, and it was not avail...

Had an awesome stay! Wasn't here during high season so it was pretty quiet at the hostel, but the staff do an amazing job and really make you feel at home. Shout-out to Cammy for being an all round legend. Cheers for the great few days team!

Ubicación y personal todo perfecto, el único pero y disgusto es que no estaba limpio el baño del cuarto y que no se les pueda poner seguro a las puertas de la recámara cualquiera puede abrir la puerta

Todo iba muy bien hasta que la última noche me abrieron el cuarto a las 3am, me hicieron sentir inseguro y con poca privacidad.

I’d stay here again and would recommend it, but if you have the money maybe go for somewhere else. I was here during off season so not much activity but the place was definitely built for socializing and had activities and breakfast and great places to sit and chat. Definitely no a/c but the fan in my private room was alright, but very very loud. There was only one working bathroom which only one person at a time could use, showers limited to 5 minutes, and the bathroom upstairs was flooding.
