HI Kananaskis

+ The location

- The service, when we arrived it was snowing hard so we thought we could hang out at the hostel but a girl named Millie said no until 5pm, reception took about an hour to accommodate us, the next day we wanted to have a relaxed breakfast but the same girl told us we can’t stay passed 11am, we didn’t feel welcome because of this pushy attitude

+ Sehr ruhig gelegen.

- Das Bett war voller Haare und roch unangenehm. Und das Zimmer war sehr klein, wir hatten kaum Platz für unser Gepäck. Das Badezimmer war ständig besetzt.

- Mattresses were not good quality. Thin and loud anytime someone moved. Arrived early but wasn’t allowed to even use the bathroom until 5pm when check in opens.

+ El personal fue muy amable. El entorno del hotel es muy bonito.

- La habitación estaba algo sucia y llegaba mucho ruido de la cocina/salón principal del hostel. También nos tocó hacer la cama, que puedo entender que les facilita la vida (y recoger las sábanas al final no le veo problema), pero llegar y tener las sábanas encima del colchón y las almohadas sin fundas... no lo veo bien (por el precio que pagamos).

+ Well located for the activities we were doing, comfortable bed, good water pressure in the showers, free parking, WiFi, big fridge.

- There wasn’t a lock on the shower room door which made for a needlessly stressful experience. Quiet hour wasn’t observed and nobody seemed to shush a very loud group which we didn’t appreciate at 1am when we shared a wall with the kitchen. Worth mentioning that their water is from a well so they provide a water cooler for drinking and brushing your teeth.

- Very small room. Looked bigger in photos Dislike having sheet with thin duvet when duvet clearly not washed

+ Friendly staff, warm. Lots of seating areas and good kitchen facilities

- Some hairs on bedding and a funny smell in the downstairs part where our room was located.

+ El Hi hostel està situat en un disseminat enmig de la natura. El lloc és molt bonic. Però cal arribar-hi amb cotxe Les instal.lacions són senzilles però correctes

+ Ottimo ostello rifugio dotato di ampia cucina e ambienti comuni tenuti con grande pulizia. WiFi funzionante poche ore al giorno fino alle 22. Se cercate una soluzione alternativa economica per i parchi nazionali, sappiate che qua siete molto lontani

- Essendo posizionato nel parco provinciale Kananaskis (che non rientra quindi nel Discovery Pass dei parchi nazionali canadesi) si deve aggiungere al prezzo del soggiorno il pass di 15CAD a persona a notte il che fa lievitare il prezzo finale in maniera rilevante. Non è colpa dell'ostello ovviamente, ma sarebbe buona norma che venisse indicato essendo poi obbligatorio pagarlo Nelle foto viene mostrata una camera con ampia finestra piano giardino, noi abbiamo avuto una camera nel sottosuolo senza nessuna finestra che si possa definire tale. Meglio essere più precisi nella descrizione

+ Close to the the trailhead.

- My room was right off the kitchen so a little noisy. There was a door, I closed it, but someone opened it again. Because there was no private bathroom. When I got up in the middle of the night or early in the morning, there was often someone in the kitchen one guy was just staring at me and it kind of creeped me out.

+ Personnel adorable, lit confortable, bon rapport qualité prix pour l’endroit

+ Die beste lange in den Wildnis Kananaskis, die perfekte und super nett, Hilfsbereitschaft und freundliche personal ! Familiäre und super Sauberkeit der Unterkunft! Ich würde jedem empfehlen Hi Kananaskis Wildnis Hostel zu besuchen! Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder Hi Kananaskis Wildnis Hostel buchen!! Liebe, lieber personal, danke für alles und das ist schön, dass es euch gibt! Freue mich auf nächstes Jahr wieder bei euch zu buchen!!

- Es gab nichts, was mir nicht gefallen hätte. Alles war super schön und in Ordnung!

+ The location is beautiful. But the best part was the stuff, she helped us so much, probably one of the best staff I’ve ever met.

+ L’emplacement isolé au milieu des bois, l’accueil et la disponibilité de la manager, la grande cuisine et le grand salon confortable, le coin pour le feu à l’extérieur avec le bois à disposition. Le calme la nuit.Tout est fait pour des rencontres agréables et de super randonnées autour.

- Le matelas recouvert de plastique, l’absence de rideau autour du lit .
