Little Charm Hanoi Hostel

I was sick on a pillow cover and towel in one of their rooms which I did take down and put in a pi Lee for one of the cleaners. In the morning when I checked out, one of the staff members accused me of being drunk and that is why I was sick when I was completely sober (I was still recovering from food poisoning). They ended up charging me 1,500,000 dong for a new mattress even though the mattress had no sick, only the pillow cover and towel. Would not recommend at all

Dieses Hostel ist so komisch organisiert. Im Restaurant nimmt keiner aktiv die Bestellungen auf und als ich den Wäsche Service nutzen wollte haben Sie meine Wäsche einfach vergessen zu waschen. Außerdem sind die Betten klein und der Gemeinschaftsraum ist immer überfüllt und viel zu warm. Es gibt auch keinen Aufzug sodass ich immer vier Stockwerke hoch und runter laufen musste.

Don't stay here if you plan on sleeping. 24 hr check in. People will come into your room all hours of the night being loud and opening and closing the doors which lets our any cold air from the air conditioner. Only the rooms are air conditioned, not the building, which is hot and stuffy.

Horrendous, they cancelled my booking without notification and left me with nowhere to stay!! Avoid at all costs!!

I didn't like. When I arrived they wanted to charge again a fee already payed here. And the lady was all like: " oh sorry, I don't speak English, but here is your bill with more money added for you to pay... Are you sure there's more? This documentation that you have on your app and email are real? I'll have to call my manager...". After the check in a guy who was listening said they did the same to him. the breakfast is only one small simple plate with NO DRINK, not even a coffee/ tea included

although the hostel looks fine, the ppl walking around there are making me very uncomfortable. no backpackers or travelers at all, it looked like they were staying the permanently. i didnt like the atmosphere, and even tho it was clean, the other guests were very unhygienic, loud and rough in the rooms, they even used my personal stuff when i was gone. i would recommend to not go back there, because of the bad vibes. but if you just need a comfortable bed, 24 hrs recepten and

I had a very bad experience in this hostel and the staff didn't help me at all, and were really rude. Someone sneaked into my bed while I was sleeping. I was traumatized and left the hostel in the middle of the night. I woke up the receptionist who pas sleeping on the couch to ask him to check out. I explain to him what happened and out of emotion I start to cry, because it was really hard for me at that moment. The guy just fell asleep in front of me on the desk while I explained the situation

One of the rudest staff team I’ve ever experienced. Very unhelpful and one of the staff members was literally yelling at me because I wasn’t able to understand something they were communicating. I had a bus to pick me up which was organized and arranged by the hostel itself but as I was sitting waiting for the bus in the lobby, apparently one of the staff members turned the bus guy away not knowing I was ready to leave. They also had a broken storage locker

Hands down the worst hostel experience in all of Vietnam. Got food poisoning from their food and spent the whole night over the toilet. When morning came I went to complain but the staff dismissed it, called me a liar, and repeatedly said ‘I don’t care’ despite one of their colleagues disposing of a bin bag full of my vomit the night before. Staff very rude and frankly incompetent, the pool as described is empty , overpriced , small beds crammed into together in a dark room , the bar is in the entrance you are always greeted by the drunk expats , don’t go , please just don’t , also 5 sets of stairs for my room no elevator , I wonder how people who are handicapped or even injured are welcomed into this hellhole

I had a great time at Little Charm Hostel! It’s really close to a lot of great restaurants and shopping. Gavin and Snow were immensely helpful for planning an itinerary for the Ha Giang loop. Really great people!!

Amazing hostel everything was very clean and Kang was very friendly not super social though.

I have stayed at little charm hostel, for a total of 6 nights. The hostel itself is very chill and ideal for backpackers who like some peace in a big city. The staff was very helpful and especially Snow. She made me feel very welcome from the beginning to the end and gave me some good tips and recommendations of activities and restaurants in Hanoi. Thank you and I will definitely come back to this hostel when I am in Hanoi!

Stayed at the hostel for 3 nights. Everything was as expected. It was clean, quiet and the staff was very sweet and helpful, especially Snow who helped me check out. If you're looking for a place that has a chill/no party vibe, this is a good spot. The only downside is that it's relatively difficult to get some social contact unless you put in some effort yourself. Still, definitely recommend staying at Little Charm if you're staying in Hanoi!

Loved Little Charm. Great property, great location. Dorms were comfortable and washrooms were clean and spacious. Would recommend and would stay here again.

I really loved my stay there a lot. The hostel is central, but quiet and clean. The staff, especially Kang, is very kind and accommodating. I totally recommend and will be back next time!

Really really nice hostel! I highly recommend. It’s clean, safe, comfy.

Hostel was in a handy location, beds were comfy and had curtains and a clean bathroom. The room was a little tight on space but having the lockers helped. The only downside was the cleaners at 7:30am coming into the room very loudly and then leaving the door wide open and talking to each other at full volume.

I really enjoyed my stay here a lot. The hostel is quiet, but central and clean. The staff is kind and helpful. Special thanks to Kang for his help 🫶🏻☺️

This is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Bed are very big and comfortable. Perfect location in old town.

The hostel had nice rooms and looks very clean, but I saw how towels were used to clean the bathroom sinks to then be placed back on a towel rack for use. Not sure about the hygiene. The wifi and the electricity are iffy. There is a large restaurant to sit and work, but it can be quite loud. The common room area that is more quite is fairly small. The accommodation is at the heart of the old city, which is a big plus, the staff is very friendly and helpful. My room had a funny (bad) smell though

gutes großes Hostel in zentraler Lage. Atmosphäre kommt durch die Größe aber nicht auf.. bar unten ist gut zum verweilen.

Room was a good size with stairs to the top bunk (not a ladder). Beds were comfy and private with shelves, plus large lockers. In-room shower and toilet were spacious. No lift and 5–6 floors. Free beer for 30 mins nightly. No organised activities, but easy to meet people outside. Very clean overall.
