Golden Time Hostel

Worst hostel I’ve stayed at. Poor communication, dirty and the room I received was not why I booked. Waited 30 mins to be get the keys to my room, sheets had hair all over it and the floor had dirt, a lot… Avoid this place.

Alles ist in die Jahre gekommen, Renovierung dringend nötig, Besitzerin spricht nur schlechtes Englisch, sehr laut, es gibt keinen Aufenthaltsraus, nicht vergleichbar mit eigentlichen Hostels, durften nur nach langen Diskussionen abends nochmal duschen, kein Frühstück, Bettwäsche war nicht sauber

Stay Away from this hostel. I booked this hostel since I could check in 24/7 as it says on the website. I arrived 5 am, and get told that they don’t have any room and I have to wait to 2pm to check in. Walked around Hanoi with to backpacks 5am to look for a hotel. STAY AWAY

It seemed as the Toom and bed haven't been cleaned properly - we slept in our sleeping bags... On the plus side: The receptionist was really friendly

I’m sure this place is lovely but we were unable to find it and ended up staying at a different hostel. Address we were given was not corrwct

it's alright if you need a room for you but don't expect much

It's in a great location. The shower and the toilet are in the same place. Since the rooms didn't get cleaned everyday, the bathroom smelled really bad. The wifi didn't work most of the time either.

Direkt im Old Quarter und super nah am Hoan Kiem Lake. Das Hostel besteht allerdings nur aus etwa 5 Zimmern und hat keinen Gemeinschaftsraum. Es schien als ob nur eine Frau dort arbeiten würde und sie sprach kein Englisch. Aber alles war sehr sauber.

Mitarbeiterin war freundlich und bemüht. Das war in Ordnung, wirkte zusammen geflickt und in die Jahre gekommen. Das Badezimmer war eher eine Nasszelle, da es keinen separaten Duschbereich gab und das Waschbecken in unseren Zimmern hing auf Halbmast. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen: Für eine Budgetübernachtung mit einer guten Lage (10 min bis zur Old Town) ausreichend.

Receptionist lady was very kind and smiley. The room was suitable for a short stay and had all that we needed.

I've had a fair share in different types of rooms, hostels etc but this was a bit dirty and not cared for. For the price and the location, you can't really complain but it looks very different to the pictures and hygiene could be improved. There is a lovely lady at the reception, she is awesome.

Leider stimmte die Beschreibung in vielen Punkten nicht mit der Realität überein - die "Self-Catering Facilities" war ein Wasserkocher, der Safe im Zimmer hat nicht funktioniert und einen Kühlschrank gab es auch nicht. Waschbecken sowie Toilette waren undicht. Die Lage ist allerdings super, man kann vieles gut zu Fuß erreichen. Außerdem ist die Dame an der Rezeption hilfsbereit und nett, sie hat mich schon viel früher einchecken lassen und war sehr bemüht. Für wenige Nächte für den P...

Pretty decent and affordable place. Recommend it if you are looking for something basic. The woman running the place is friendly and welcoming. They were able to accommodate a late arrival. I did inform them ahead of time.

Had a great stay there

Average hotel but overall I was satisfied, you get what you pay for at the end of the day. The lady who owns it was very friendly and repaired my shower head straight away. She does a great job running the place on her own. Considering the location, it isn’t too loud which I found helpful. Thank you for the stay

Everything Perfect! Very friendly staff.

Great place to stay in Hanoi for a good nights sleep, nice and quiet away from the noise but also in very close walking distance. The owner is so lovely and helpful! Comfy clean room and powerful shower!

Really good location, short walk to old quarter and lake without being super loud and busy. Comfy beds and friendly staff. Bathrooms slightly odd with shower attached to sick and no window in room. Good value for money

this hostel I thought was better than the reviews it's been given. For a budget private hotel it was all it cracked up to be. the lady that ran it was so lovely and helpful, it was clean, in a good neighborhood and near shops, as a 19y solo female I felt safe, my aircon was good. I would stay here again, and if you're after a private room, I would recommend it. the only lacking thing was atmosphere but it wasn't a hostel really, just a hotel so that's to be expected.

The lovely lady at the desk is so sweet, she’s attentive and makes sure you’re okay. She manages the hostel all by herself which is impressive. Don’t expect anything amazing or luxurious as you are paying for a budget hostel. Unfortunately the private room I had, had bedbugs which I informed the lady and she changed the sheets straight away. Whilst this isn’t ideal for guests, I did give her the benefit of the doubt as she’s managing 8 floors all by herself!
