+ Relativamente limpio cama bien
- Tuvieron un supuesto error y solo nos cobraron una noche en vez de dos sin darnos tiquet ni factura de ello, aun sigo sin saber si me cobraron doble o no, aparte las motos son más caras y te piden el pasaporte igualmente y no confíes que el staff te despierte para ir en bus, aparte a las 7 de la mañana chillando los mismos staff. Ubicación, necesitas moto si o si.
Relatively clean bed well They had a supposed error and only charged us one night instead of two without giving us a ticket or a bill for it, I still don't know if they charged me double or not, besides motorbikes are more expensive and they ask for your passport anyway and you don't trust the staff to wake you up to go on the bus, besides at 7am screaming the same staff.
+ The staff were so nice, at least when they understood what I said in English. The place looks and feels cozy. And it is in good location in Pakse.
- 6 showers, the heater machines work only in one of them, and the flow is the weak, it takes forever to clean up. The AC was good but not best, still felt hot during the night. There’s dust under the beds and on the floor.

- Notre chambre n'avait pas de fenêtre ( nous avions réservé une chambre double avec salle de bain) le lit n'était pas très confortable et les murs tellement fins que j'ai pu entendre les vomis et diarrhées des voisins ... Je trouve que le rapport qualité prix n'y est pas, 20 dollars la nuit est cher payé dans ce contexte

- It looked like there we’d bed bugs. My friends and I woke up with random bumps on our skin. We told the staff and they told us they will inspect it. I don’t think that happened

Shower water pressure was pretty much nonexistent. No soap at the sinks. No locks on the dorm doors. The lockers weren’t big enough for bags. They did seem secure enough to leave items but at the same time the fact that anyone could walk in and bust the lock open made it where I just kept all my stuff with me that I wasn’t ready to lose. - Our private room did not have any window. And there was only the ceiling light which was very bright. So the atmosphere was very cold.
+ The hotel is located in the city center, making it very convenient to get around. There are many nearby restaurants to choose from. The lobby has a small café corner where you can relax, and the drinks are tasty and well-made. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Towels are provided, but you will need to bring your own toiletries and other personal amenities.
- I was not very impressed with the bathroom facilities. The shower in the room I used had weak water pressure, and the other two bathrooms had showerheads that were not fully functional, with only a small amount of water coming out and some leakage.

- J'avais pu lire que la chambre était sans fenetre, je ne m'attendais pas à ce qu'elle soit peinte en gris avec des portes anthracite. Par ailleurs pasbde lampe de chevet mais des plafonniers très intenses. C'était assez oppressant, ambiance carcérale/hôpital psychiatrique de la fin du XIXe... Ça peut sembler un détail, mais dans les faits c'est assez prégnant.
The ideal location I had read that the room was windowless, I did not expect it to be painted grey with anthracite doors. besides no bedside lamp but very intense ceiling tiles. it was quite oppressive, prison/psychiatric hospital atmosphere of the late 19th century... it may seem like a detail, but in fact it is quite pregnant.

Really cute hostel, entrance is through a lovely cafe with amazing matcha. Great room and comfy beds. Not social as I was the only person in the dorm. Was perfect for my one night stop over in Pakse.

Staying at Chato Hostel was very comfortable, the place is modern and clean and the beds are very comfortable. The café downstairs is cute. It’s not very busy (yet). The owner is very kind and everything is organized very well. You can arrange everything you need from the hostels and they link up with other hostels to organize group tours. I also booked my bus to the next destination from here. Organized very well. Only downside was that the dorm was quite warm at night.
Bonne auberge pour le prix, serviette fournie, casiers. Comme d'autres l'ont conseillé : n'hésitez pas à aller à Saga Hostel juste à côté, même si vous dormez à Chato, que ce soit pour les petits dej, les tours, etc Car à Chato, ils ne proposent pas de repas à la vente, et pour sociabiliser, l'endroit n'est pas top, mais si vous voulez du calme allez y les yeux fermés !
Good hostel for the price, towel provided, lockers. as others have advised: do not hesitate to go to Saga Hostel right next door, even if you sleep in Chato, whether for snacks, tours, etc. Car in Chato, they do not offer meals for sale, and for socializing, the place is not top notch, but if you want peace and quiet go with your eyes closed !

Really enjoyed my stay! Dorms were quiet and i could rest after the thakhek loop !
