This property was booked on Hostelworld with the deposit paid, We arrived to check in and us (plus another group) were told that they had no rooms, the staff member was not helpful or apologic blaming hostelworld for overselling the rooms and sent us all away. In theory the location was good but the service was terrible and so far I have not recieved my deposit back. Very disappointed.
J’ai réservé sur hostelword et quand je suis arrivée la réceptionniste m’a dit que j’avais pas de place en dortoir pour cause de Surbooking. Elle ne m a donné aucune solution alors qu’il restait des chambres disponibles. J ai donc dû prendre une chambre beaucoup plus cher pour avoir un endroit où dormir car il était tard.
I booked on hostelword and when i arrived the receptionist said that i had no room in the dorm due to surbooking. she gave me no solution even though there were still rooms available. so i had to take a much more expensive room to have a place to sleep because it was late.
L’hostel est bien placé, les dortoirs sont très bien et propre, les douches correctes. Le gros point négatif c’est qu’ils font du surbooking. J’avais une réservation pour 5, pour ma part aucun soucis mais une amie qui voyageait avec nous a fait sa resa de son côté s’est retrouvé sans logement sans que personne ne l’ait prévenu et la réceptionniste n’en avait rien a faire
The hostel is well located, the dormitories are very nice and clean, the showers are correct. the big negative point is that they overbook. i had a reservation for 5, for my part no worries but a friend who was traveling with us made her return on her side found herself homeless without anyone warning and the receptionist had nothing to do.
No tenían nuestra reservación en sus computadoras lo que significaba que teníamos que pagar mas por una cama con mas gente. La mujer de la recepción se estaba riendo de la situación y no quería ayudar a la nada. Nos dijieron que si podemos pagar con tarjeta y al final no funcionó. Servicio muy mala no los importan nada, nuestra cama no tenía ventanas o aire fue raro. También no estaba seguro de la nada no habían lockers y las camas no se cierran?! They didn't have our reservation in their computers which meant we had to pay for a bed with more people. The receptionist was laughing at the situation and didn't want to help at all. They told us that if we could pay with a card and in the end it didn't work. Very bad service they don't care anything, our bed had no windows or air was rare. I was also not sure about anything there were no lockers and the beds don't close?!
On Hostelworld they claim that they have security locker, which is NOT true. When I realized that after the payment, they refused to cancel and refund. The stuff was very rude. Worst hostel I’ve ever been to.
main issue: dirty hostel. bathroom was filthy and unkept. my bed had what appeared to be a female's hair all over it. clearly not changed sheets but rather a bed made to look fresh. second issue: the only accept cash for room payments.
It’s ok if you are here for one night but I wouldn’t book it for a longer stay. Everything is ok but also just that…
It's a functional hostel, the beds are good, BUT THERE ARE NO LOCKERS! I found out on the second night that the bar 5AM, practically connected to the hostel, has lockers for 5€/day. I find it strange that a hostel with showers, toilets and a kitchen doesn't have a way to lock your stuff.
Obvious signs of bug activity, no lockers, and the showers are just a simple water heater.
Very basic, good for a quick trip through Antigua. The bed cubes were very private. I plan on using this hostel again when coming back through Antigua for its reasonable price.

Buena experiencia en general, solo no aceptan pago con tarjeta a pesar de que en la descripción en el sitio así lo describen.
Good experience overall, just don't accept card payments even though in the description on the site they describe it like that.

camas cómodas, en modo "cápsulas" con sus cortinas y sus enchufes y lámparas; cocina muy limpia y bien equipada; buena ubicación y limpio. solo faltaba sitio para poner tus cosas en la ducha
comfortable beds, in "capsule" mode with their curtains and their plugs and lamps; very clean and well equipped kitchen; good location and clean. just missing space to put your things in the shower
El lugar a mí en lo personal me encantó! Limpio, tranquilo! Un plus es que esta A 3 cuadras de la terminal de buses!

Just a good hostel to stay in for one night, nothing special. But its clean, fairly comfortable beds.
Good crash pad, well located. There’s a kitchen and a cafe at the front for coffee in the morning (which I think the owners sit and drink in when it shuts, bit odd as you can hear them). Not really any chill area or atmosphere, I didn’t see any lockers in the rooms and some had no windows so a bit stuffy. Good enough for the price though, I’d stay again.
I only stayed here for one night, but for that it was pretty good. The beds are big, really comfortable, and have curtains. Overall, the vibe felt a bit weird to me. The door was open all day, so basically anyone could walk into the hostel and the rooms. There were no lockers. Fine for one night, but for a longer stay I’d probably choose a different hostel.

Depending on which room you get, you might not have an area to put your luggage. The morning staff is friendly and helpful but the evening staff gives off the "don't really care vibe." The bathrooms and showers are near the entrance and there isn't much privacy. They are sort of in the open. The rooms get warm, sometimes too warm. The hostel does not allow any washing of clothes in the sink or allow you to hang your clothes to dry.
Tiene una cafetería que lo hace excelente. El espacio del cuarto es muy pequeño pero todo bien, la regadera solo hay una para agua caliente.
The room space is very small but all is well, the shower is only one for hot water.
Everything was really good, wish there were lockers, very clean, very good beds, great kitchen, good location. Close to center and the market, makes for a great location.
The bed is fantastic. It’s definitely the best sleep I ever had, you get to climb into your little nok. Keep in mind that the shower has warm water only in the morning and evening between 7-10. There are no keys to the room or lockers inside and the door is always open without a reception so everyone can come in. There are lockers that you can rent for 40Q a day in the cafe.
Every other hostel should take notes from this hostel on the little things. Is it the most glamorous hostel in the world maybe note but for the price it is perfect. Staff are incredibly nice. The beds are pods and have actual blankets, not just sheets. Outlets and lights in each one and the curtain actual covers you. The beds are quite big and comfortable. Lastly the location is as good as it gets. If you are looking for a non party hostel this is your spot.
Perfect place for small budget
El apartamento tiene escaleras estrechas y se dificulta subir con maletas. Pero, todo lo demás está muy bien.
The apartment has narrow stairs and it is difficult to climb with luggage, but everything else is fine.
