the owner Diego when you come is very welcoming but in the second you enter the hostel he is very pushy to sell his tours, I booked a tour and change my mind one day after and asked money back and he talk to me in very disrespectful way as a client and he didn’t want to give me some of the money back for , when I came back to the hostel after I left for few days the guys in my room told me he charged them 100 dollars less for tour and when I asked him he lied in my face!DO NOT COME HERE !

Diego the property owner ripped me and a friend off as soon as we landed at the a and t travel Lodge he wanted us to do a tour with him but we wanted to look around but he insisted on a deposit and had his brother drop us to the bank and we paid for over half the asking price on a deposit but when we whent down town we learned that you could get it 3 times cheaper and when we asked for our money back he was getting aggressive and said we would have a problem so i would not recommend

The Hostel is nice, although everything js relatively old and run down. However the experience with the host was quite unpleasant. At the beginning of our stay we booked a jungle tour through him and he said we wouldn't have to pay the nights we didn't stay. In the end he still wanted 300 soles additional to the 200 soles already paid for 2 nights with 3 people. We also paid extra for a 4 bed room, but were placed in an 8 bed room. wholeheartedly warn people away from staying here. the owner lies, puts prices up, nothing works (and i suspect from past reviews they never have), not that clean. book a different hostel!

Verschrikkelijk! Grote afrader. Bij aankomst was de deur op slot en was de eigenaar slecht bereikbaar. Uit eindelijk kunnen bereiken. Conclusie: hij stond op het vliegveld en haalde andere mensen op. Was niet op de hoogte van mijn komst. Daarnaast was er geen stromend water in het hostel en werd er eigenlijk gevraagd of ik naar een andere plek kon gaan. Ook de locatie lijkt ideaal maar het is echt een shithole. Mij zie je niet terugkeren hier, sorry.

Hostelworld takes a deposit and makes you pay the rest on location. The rest was 20 soles but they asked for 40* and CASH only. I called them out but they did not allowed me to stay for the duration of my trip, only one night. Room was hot humid and for 8 people not 4. Staff was also a bit rude misgendered me. No privacy curtains either

I do not recommend this place.

This hostel does not exist anymore, I received a confirmation how to get there, about the "jungle tours" they offer etc., and when I did, the door was closed, nobody came down, the owner was somewhere in the forest apparently, my motortaxi driver called him, he just hang up on us, a neighbour said, the hostel does not exist any longer, the driver brought me to another hostel and charged me a hefty 20 soles, ruthlessly taking advantage of my situation, so at the end I lost my deposit + 6 USD ...

je ne recommande pas cet Hostel, j'ai trouvé un hostel avec les mêmes prix et bien mieux.

Great place to stay in Iquitos, location near everything, staff very friendly and willing to help, rooms and common spaces clean, and tour company right in the hostel for any excursions, i recommend !

I had a nice time in the Hostel. The Hostel had clean rooms with AC, tha Bathrooms were clean and we got offered a tour to the Belen Market and experienced the local life in Iquitos.

This has to be the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. There’s no real hostel vibe about it at all - the main common space is shared with some sort of office. Our room only had one fan making it way too hot to sleep. There’s lots of noise and light coming into the room all night, & there is a loud bell which goes off every time someone walks in (although the owner did turn one of these off after asking). The owner seemed annoyed we didn’t book our tour through him as well. Weird vibes all ...

Hele aardig personeel. Had ook de jungle tour geboekt via dezelfde mensen. De jungle tour wordt gerund door de opa, een hele lieve man en hij zorgt ervoor dat ja alle hoeken van de jungle te zien krijgt

The staff were super friendly and really helpful organising tours, which made everything easy. Good social vibe without being too loud, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Location is central so you can walk everywhere. Awesome value for money — would definitely stay again!

It’s an excellent hostel, very well located, with very positive vibes. They also help you organize and book your tours to the Amazon.

Diego was great and helped us book a jungle tour through his dad’s company! We saw a ton of cool animals and had an incredible time!

Really enjoyed my stay here in A&T Amazon Backpacker! The commodities are great and it’s closed to everything! Thank you to Diego and Andreina, That were really helpful with everything. The Hosal is vry clean all the comun area and the Rooftop was a great with many hammock, I higly recommend his Amazon tours too from the hostel, Definitely recommend, Thank you so much for all.

I had a great stay at this family hostel. I hyly recommend great location, Diego and Andreina are very helfull owners. Awesome location, clean rooms, and most importantly his great Amazon jungle tours was great time, Iask to Diego for his next group, i sow much wildlife, excellent staff. Special shoutouts to all staff, Thnak you for making my stay extra special and memorable. If I find myself back in Iquitos, I will definitely return!

Je n’ai rien aimé. On se croirait dans une agence qui a ouvert ensuite un hostel pour mieux rentabiliser son commerce. L’espace commun est sans vie. Pas d’évier dans la cuisine !! Faut faire la vaisselle dans le lavabo des toilettes ! Je voulais sortir et la porte était bloquée. Je n’ai pas apprécié l’énergie du gérant.
