The dirtiest, most disgusting place I have ever stayed.

Die gezeigten Fotos sind wohl schon etwas älter, da sie nicht so richtig dem aktuellen Stand entsprechen. Das Haus ist recht alt, die zimmer sehr klein, nicht sauber und die Matratzen total durchgelegen. Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür das ist gut.

The room was crazily small for 6 people and the noise from the living room was loud. There was always a queue for the toilet and one basin nearest to the room. No sockets except for an extension lead under someone's bed. Really not great for over $100

very clean and position is perfect, walking distance from the beach , but also in the nature (I spotted a koala on the tree right next to the hostel!) But some things to improve: - shampoo/shower gel would be appreciated in the showers - rooms are extremely tiny (5 bed in something like 8m²!) - staff was not super welcoming - beds could be done, instead of have guests put the sheets on

Uncomfortable beds, cant believe its $50 a night and you have to make your own bed and check in yourself.

Definitely a bit too expensive for what you get. Kitchen and bathroom were clean. The rooms were too small for 5 people! There’s no space for bags or something else. Also, you can’t open a window. Even if we were just 4 people in there, without ventilation, the next morning my travel buddy and I felt like we have a hangover because of the poor air quality in there. The staff were extremely friendly, but I wouldn’t go there again. For one night, it was acceptable.

Great hospitality and inclusive friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Worked well for one night. Clean and well kept, but a facility would need an update. Towels cost 5 AUD extra to rent, and you have to make the bed yourself upon arrival - sheets are however provided by the hostel. About 10-15 min walk to the restaurants ”downtown” through a safe residential area.

Just a typical, mediocre hostel. It’s a few blocks away from the shops & restaurants, still within walking distance but far enough that it’s better to drive. Not bad for a few nights. My top recommendation is to replace the couches that were in the common room… they’re a bit gross.

This is an okay hostel if you are doing the great ocean road trip. Not the nicest, but it does the job for a night - therefore I would recommend this place. The staff were super friendly, and the beds were really comfy

Very basic hostel. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Rooms very small and not spacious. Mattress uncomfortable springs. Lacking facilities eg: hairdryer, towels. Location good and kitchen good. Very chilled out and suitable for solo travellers.

Great little hostel to stop off at on a Great Ocean Road trip! In a good location, only a short walk from the main town with parking spaces too. Facilities and rooms were super clean, and beds were comfy too. The member of staff who checked us in was lovely too and gave us some good recommendations! Definitely a must stay if you’re in Apollo Bay :)

It was very good, we were 4 friends and it was a great place to rest in the middle of the great ocean road.

We loved staying at Apollo Bay Backpackers! It’s a very cute little hostel and a nice getaway from the city. It was very clean and we felt right at home. We also enjoyed talking to the host Quinn, he’s a very fun and nice person and gives good surf lessons as well!

Gute Unterkunft für eine Nacht auf der Great Ocean Road. Klein, aber gemütlich. Nettes Personal. Auf jeden Fall für einen kurzen stop zu empfehlen

Quinn was a great host, welcoming, chatty and offered extra activities to which I went Kayaking. A small place but works well to encourage everyone to be social and chat and all staff were great. Less than 10 min walk to the beach front. Ideal spot

kindest staff, lovely location with everything you need for a short stay, recommend the seal tour and going for a surf, would come here anytime again :)

Very friendly, simple and cosy place. We enjoyed a lot our stay and would highly recomand this hostel. :D

We stayed 6 nights and had a lovely time. The hostel is very cozy and staff are very friendly and helpful. Kitchens and bathrooms were clean. Would highly recommend!
