The Villager Fisherman Village

+ Die Lage war gut, direkt am Fishermans Village

- Leider war unser Aufenthalt sehr enttäuschend. Das Zimmer war stark verschimmelt, insbesondere im Bad. Die verschimmelten Fliesen wurden offenbar lediglich überstrichen, anstatt fachgerecht saniert zu werden. Im gesamten Raum lag ein deutlicher Moder- und Schimmelgeruch in der Luft. Die Einrichtung war sehr alt und insgesamt wirkte alles ungepflegt und schmutzig. Zudem war das Bett extrem hart und kaum komfortabel. Die Isolierung des Zimmers war praktisch nicht vorhanden. Man hatte das Gefühl, direkt auf der Straße zu schlafen, da sämtliche Geräusche ungedämpft zu hören waren. Positiv hervorzuheben ist lediglich, dass wir frühzeitig abreisen durften. Mit Abstand das schlechteste Hotel, das wir je erlebt haben.

- Tout. Bâtiment en carton, on entend tout. Les coqs le matin comme s'il y en avait 10 dans la chambre, les oiseaux qui marche sur le toit en tôle et ca je dire que c'est effrayant quand tu dors et ca te réveille. Les voisins qui parlent, les motos qui passent et biensur la musique des milliers de bars dans le village. A faire si vous voulez dormir. Draps sales avec des tâches. Le bâtiment multicolore je ne l'ai pas vu, publicitémensongère.. Il y a 2 bâtiment dont un très bas de gamme avec une piscine ridicule que j'appellerai bassin d'eau froide. C'est biensur là où ou j'étais au dernier étage. Odeur de naphtaline dans la salle de bain tel que tu peux pas y rester sans avoir mal a la tête. Je me suis douché dans une salle de sport de peur de toucher la douche. Pour 47euro j'aurais mieux fait de prendre un petit hotel en dehors du village par ce que vraiment ce village est horrible. Des milliers de touristes bas de gamme, le surtourisme a son appogé. Ko Samui est le pire endroit que j'ai fait an Thailande.

- Dirty, you get only 2 big towels, it’s not possible to get towel for face and hands.

+ There was nothing good about this place.

- Dirty toilet roll, blood stains on the walls and furniture, leaking shower, unusable broken toilet, hideous view on a gravel area where stray dogs just defecate all day, constant building work, walls so thin you can hear a mobile phone beep next door, rude and dishonest staff. After showing the staff the many defects to the room they agreed to tell booking.com to refund me the money, but this was a lie as they refused to refund the money. I couldn't stay a single night, it was utterly vile. Go somewhere else if you want to have a decent holiday, this place is absolute garbage. Booking.com sided with the hotel so they will not be getting anymore bookings from me either. Don't book this hotel, they are con artists.

- היינו סה״כ שלושה ימים הזמנו חדר שהוצג כחדר על הבריכה קיבלנו חדר קומה רביעית בלי מעלית חדר בסדר גמור אבל במהלך השלושה ימים היו משהו כמו ארבע הפסקות מים שתיים מהם תוך כדי מקלחת עם סבון על הראש הצוות כל פעם אמר לנו שזאת פעם אחרונה ושמתקנים בדיוק את הבעיה סתם בשביל שלא נציק להם ביום אחרון שלנו סיכמנו עם הקבלה לעבור חדר באנו בבוקר להחליף הוציאו אותנו מהחדר שלנו והיינו צריכים לחכות לצ׳יק אין בשביל להיכנס לחדר החדש למרות שבדקנו לפני שנוכל לקבל את החדר באחת עשרה ( החדר לא היה מוכן ויכולנו להכנס רק ב14:00 ) הפקידה בקבלה התייחסה עלינו מאוד לא יפה , לא נחזור למלון הזה וגם לא ממליצים

- Pool was tiny. Put sign up on door for room to be cleaned and it wasn’t cleaned. Asked for towels at reception as room wasn’t done, was told housekeeping would send some up …never got fresh towels. Staff weren’t very friendly. Awful smell coming from septic tank by pool.

- There were bed bugs all over my bed and my room!! I found out when I went to sleep, the reception was closed at this time and no one answered to my phone calls. I found myself outside the room at 2 am with no idea where to go.

+ Sehr gute Lage! Personal ist sehr freundlich & man kann Roller direkt vom Hotel mieten.

- Die Lage ist ein bisschen teurer aber schön.

- Only the view because it overlooks an unused plot but really for the price, cleanliness and position this is soon overlooked.

+ Location to Fisherman's Village is perfect. Not too close that it is noisy but easy walking distance.

- - Handtücher stinken extrem - extrem hellhörig (man hört jedes Wort des Nachbarn) - allgemein geben die Zimmer einen ungepflegten Zustand (Boden, Wände, Bad) - Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption bis auf einen netten Herren nicht sehr hilfreich und unhöflich - Bett war mit Haaren und gelblich gefärbtes Bettlaken - nur kaltes Duschwasser - kein Spiegel im Zimmer außer im Bad ein kleiner - ungemütliche Beleuchtung - im allgemeinen täuschen die Bilder für das was man bekommt - Achtung Wäsche nicht waschen lassen, es wird einfach mehr abgerechnet obwohl man die vorher extra abwiegt und bei Nachfrage wird gesagt dann musst du dich an die Wäsche Frau wenden - Da wir ein Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk hatten, wurden wir jeden Morgen von Tieren auf dem Dach geweckt, die dort vermutlich leben - Wir hatten erstmal ein Zimmer im EG, wo jeder Gast vorbei gegangen ist und ins Zimmer gucken konnte. Sehr unangenehm!

+ I really appreciated the relaxed, authentic atmosphere of Fisherman’s Village — it feels much more charming and less overdeveloped than other parts of Koh Samui. The location is excellent, with easy access to the beach, restaurants, and the night market, making it very convenient without sacrificing tranquility. I also liked the overall vibe of the property, which strikes a nice balance between comfort and a laid-back island experience.

- The noise level can occasionally be noticeable in the evenings, given the proximity to the main street and nearby nightlife, although it’s very much part of the lively atmosphere of the area, and exactly what I was looking for. Additionally, while the overall experience is very pleasant, the property has a more relaxed and informal feel compared to some of the more upscale options nearby, which again aligned well with the kind of stay I wanted.

+ It has nice swimming pools. Staff always available to help. Spoke good English. Clean rooms. Smart working tv. Close to markets, 7/11. Can hire bikes there at good prices. Lovely rooftop to sit on and look at the 360 views - sunrise & sunset. Near to pier to cross for Full Moon Party @ Koh Pangan
