Sunrise - Isla de Flores

The owner really tries his best and made me breakfast when I had to leave early. But it’s totally not worth the price. I had to book it because my initial booking got cancelled. No social vibe at all, no hot shower in the room and I wasn’t allowed to turn on the lights in the morning. With some good improvements and lowering the price, it has potential.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming The location was perfect My issues was that I didn’t have a private bathroom in my room. I think there might be a misunderstanding while booking the place Other than that everything was good

The hostel is very well located, right by where all the buses leave to go on tours or to travel to another part of Guatemala. I felt safe there and I enjoyed the outside area to chill. The owner is very friendly and askingfor suggestions to improve the place as it is a new project of his. They offer cooking and salsa classes that I could sadly not attend. The rooms are spacious enough and I slept well. Overall I was happy to pick this place to relax after a long bus journey to avoid the party.

nice little place at the entrance of the island, they have cooking classes and salsa ones you can join for a discount. the staff are very helpful and Caro the volunteer super kind:) facilities are simple but suffice. terrace to chill in, also acts a café. it has not been open for too long so still things to improve but really chill vibe if you don't want a party hostel:)

Ik heb hier drie hele fijne dagen gehad. Juan Pablo is een fantastisch mens, zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Hij geeft je het gevoel thuis te zijn en zijn huis is jouw huis. Het is een fijne kamer met een goed bed. Het is er lekker rustig. Een plaats om tot rust te komen.

Das Zimmer ist ehrlich gesagt eine kleine Kammer, aber was diese Unterkunft ausmacht ist der Gastgeber Juan. Super zuvorkommend, unfassbar nett und immer mit Rat zur Stelle. Er liebt Kaffee und das schmeckt man auch 😉

Nice, quiet hostel, directly at the lake. It‘s a bit tricky to find, since there‘s no hostel sign but if you search for pepian cooking classes on google maps, it‘ll lead you directly there. The dorm was basic but nice and the shower was nice and had good water pressure and warm water.

The host was super accommodating and friendly. Even providing coffee in the mornings😊 It was clean and comfortable with amazing views from the outdoor seated area. You catch both the sunset and sunrise from it!

Amazing hostel. Friendly owner. Great WiFi, hot showers and clean. I highly recommend the cooking class also, we made vegetarian pepian and it was probably the best thing I ate in Guatemala. Also the location is perfect because most of the tours for Tikal and buses are located at the entrance to the bridge about 10m away from the hostel. I would definitely stay here again if I was going to Flores.

C’est un sans faute pour cet hostal et son dueño, Juan Pablo. Accueillie comme à la maison, le staff aux petits soins, un endroit tranquille et familial pour se reposer.

Muy buena experiencia,Juan Pablo es el mejor anfitrión es súper amable y siempre está dispuesto a ayudarte en todo lo que necesitas saber acerca de la ciudad y los lugares que quieres visitar ,tienen muy buenas clases de salsa y cocina ,lo recomiendo 100%♥️♥️

Es el mejor lugar para quedarte en Flores si lo que necesitas es paz y comodidad; frente al lago y atendido por las personas más amables.

This hostel was amazing! So underrated! Very down to earth and relaxing! The staff was so friendly and helpful. We came in after a long day and immediately we were made to feel at home, and at ease, to take time to settle in, it was a relief. I highly recommend the cooking class! This is not a party or social hostel but close enough to Los amigos you can go socialize, and come back to a calm chill environment. The hostel was located in a perfect location as well! Nothing bad to say at all!
