Taleju Boutique Hotel

- Booking.com and the hotels are nothing but hijackers of money. Almost 5 thousand nepalee rupees were taken extra during our two days stay. Told them to book bus tickets for pokhara, they charged almost 1600 nepalee rupees as their hotel service, i wish i never stayed here….

- Niestety w moim pokoju miałam nieżywe karaluchy za szybą w toalecie. Nie było zbyt czystyo. Słaba lokalizacja (w bocznej uliczce). Po rezygnacji z kolejnych nocy zostałam poproszona przez managerkę hotelu o wyjaśnienie mojej decyzji, co było bardzo nikomfortowe. Cała rozmowa prowadzona przez managerkę była nieuprzejma i moim zdaniem nie na a miejscu.

+ I liked the location and the staff at the hotel was exceptional. They were super helpful and knowledgable .

- As i checked in I noticed the bathroom was not cleaned. The cleaning lady came by to clean the bathroom after I notified the receptionist. The water coming out of the taps in the bathroom and toilet was orange and as I spoke to the fellow guests, they had the same experience and were not sure wether or not was it safe to use the shower. I think this is something you should notify your guests about and if there are limitations in using the bathroom you should not charge a full price. I chose a different hotel to stay at after coming back from trekking... I ordered veggie burger at the hotel restaurant, it was not tasty either. All super oily.

- 1. Room small. fairly dirty alley like outside and was unsure about safety. 2. Tap water unclean. 3. No safety locker. 4. No elevator. 5. God food poisoning, first day and had to leave early. I paid the full amount for the stay

+ 아침식사는 아주 맛있었다고라고는 할수 없고 그냥 무난했습니다. 멋진 정원이 있는 호텔이었고 호텔 위치는 타멜 거리와 가까워 쇼핑하고 식사하러 나가기 편했습니다. 직원분들도 친절하신 편이었습니다.

- 객실에 병에 든 물과 생수 3통이 있었는데 생수 2통을 마셨습니다. 전날 묵었던 카트만두 다른 호텔에서는 생수 물이 무료여서 이 호텔도 무료인줄 알고 마셨는데 이 호텔은 체크아웃시 물값을 따로 받더군요.

- Ze doen niet aan glutenvrij en lactosevrij, helpen je er ook echt niet in. Je boekt massage van 120 minuten en als jevkomt kan het max 60 minuten Was op sommige plekken best wel vuil

- Девушка менеджер сидящая за столом в лобби сделала ошибку в планирование размещения и вместо извинений , очень не приятно и не уважительно общалась.

+ The courtyard is lovely and peaceful, a great break from the busy Thamel streets. Staff were always lovely.

- The rooms leave a little to be desired at this price. Some are quite cramped while others are more spacious. Things are a little cheap or broken and some odd choices for example only over head lights, no lamps.

- First when you enter lobby you find so many dust on ground on table which I feel staff need to work 5times a day to clean up and second when you enter the room curtain you find so many dust and ground carpet there is sand and dust staff was very kind but sanitize wise they need to work much much more

+ Great stay at Taleju Boutique Hotel. Perfect location in Thamel—central yet quiet for a good night’s rest. Beautiful property with a charming courtyard and rooftop terrace. Rooms are spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

+ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a wonderful one-night stay at Taleju Boutique Hotel during our Nepal trip. The hotel is beautifully designed with traditional Nepalese architecture — the wooden carvings, red brick walls and peaceful garden courtyard create a truly authentic atmosphere. What stood out the most was the exceptional warmth and hospitality of the staff. They were incredibly supportive, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. From check-in to check-out, every interaction was pleasant and professional. The location is perfect — right in the heart of Thamel, walking distance from everything yet surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The room was clean, well-furnished and comfortable. Highly recommend Taleju Boutique Hotel to anyone visiting Kathmandu — especially couples looking for an authentic, warm and comfortable stay in the heart of the city. + Fabulous atmosphere and quiet down a side street. Staff very helpful and courteous.

- In the old part of the hotel there isn’t a lift so a climb to the forth floor.

+ The starr were so incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay from the men on the front door to the barmen (Roshan). Grest room and value for money too.

+ Le personnel charmant et toujours disponible. La chambre près de la terrasse tranquille et lumineuse. La proximité des sites d'intérêt.

- La vétusté et le manque de prises électriques. Le lit un peu petit pour le standard de la chambre. Le manque de vrai café au petit déjeuner. La rue entièrement dédiée aux hôtels.
