+ It was close to Vergelegen which was our requirement. Dog Friendly, however, we had an upstairs room which they did warn me about beforehand, but the stairs were not easy for a dog slated wood with a curve at the bottom. My dog coped so we managed.

- The bathroom was tiny with a huge beam at an angle above the basin and loo, shower so small you couldn't bend down.

+ Location is good.

- The chalet rate in this property is deceiving. Booking was for a chalet that sleeps 4 max. Upon check-in, they charged the other 2 guests without official notice on booking.com. Future guests, please be careful when booking at this property specially the foreigners.

+ In terms of the breakfast, I found the same as in many B&Bs and restaurants. I told the food lady "Eggs easy over don't overcook the bacon". I got hard eggs and over cooked bacon. There not a great skill in eggs easy-over, but very few peoiple can do it, ir they don't want to.

- Kitchen staff were nice but didn't listen.

+ The friendliness and helpfulness to accommodate us for a single night and even allow my mom to sit in the room till after the wedding celebrations - we are TRULY grateful and will recommend many people to your place.

- I was a bit disappointed that the bedding wasn't very clean - the sheet in particular but still will not let that override the gratitude and welcome feeling of our stay. Oh and if I may suggest, as much as there is liquid hand soap, sometimes a bar of soap is also preferred - but this is not a complaint !!

- Die Lage unseres Zimmers hatte aus dem Fenster den direkten Blick auf die Kühlerhaube der davor geparkten Autos. Das Badezimmer ist renovierungsbedürftig.

- Our standard room was cramped with hardly any room for our suitcases. Very dark decor, dated and worn fittings. For the money there's better places out there.

+ Overall appearance is great and it seems very popular.

- Did not handle loadshedding well.

+ The owners were definitely nice people

- The gentleman at the reception at night was a nut case.

+ A comfortable room and pleasant staff.

+ Im Grunde beste Übernachtung unserer gesamten Reise, super freundlich, sehr netter Eigentümer mit inspirierenden Gesprächen, unkomplizierte Buchung u Verlängerung, tolles Personal, ich freue mich auf ein Wiedersehen.

- Can't think if anything, but there is a step at front door that I missed. Maybe just put a ramp abit on the inside

- The one plug at microwave did not work and no usb plugs or plug adapters

+ The staff members I met were friendly and super-accommodating. It's a hop, skip and a jump off the highway, so did not take me off my travel route. The gardens are lush and spacious for pets. Gorgeous views of the sea. 12 out of 10 all round!

+ Breakfast could be more variable especially if one is taying longer than 2 days.

+ The short journey from Cape Town airport. We only stayed one night as we were traveling on to Greyton. Arrived at night and only saw the facilities in the morning. Great breakfast spread and extremely pleasant staff. The host greeted everyone at breakfast and provided good travel information. After seeing the pool area we wished our stay had been longer. A good base for the wine area.
