Paifah Hostel

All my money was stolen in the paifah hostel.

Bad vibes all round. Something weird felt like it was happening between all the staff and volunteers the weekend we were there, not very welcoming

I couldn’t stay here, I felt uncomfortable with the lack of locks on anything. As a solo traveler this wasn’t good. The dorms had no key and no front gate locked either. Anyone would walk in at any point. My friend who helped me get my bags just walked straight in to the room no questions. There wasn’t anyone on a ‘desk’ either. The beds didn’t seem clean either.

Idk why this place has such high reviews. The beds are hard as a rock and the bathroom like something out of a saw movie. When I asked the girl at reception for help she would just roll her eyes like I’m forcing her to help. Told me at one point to go talk to the owner but seeing as I just got there how in the world would I know what he looked like. Only stayed 2 nights but never again

I left after 2 hours and didn’t end up staying. Would not recommend.

Super weird vibes… The owner didn’t even know we were coming and there was no receptionist desk for check in/out or key cards for the doors so we had to leave our stuff in an unlocked room all day… Bathroom was also really weird and the shower didn’t get hot

The hostel has a convenient location but other than that I would not stay again. So many other options in town. No locks like most reviews say no staff on property. Room and bathroom were dirty. The included breakfast is coffee.

Fine for one night and you’re on a budget. Above a cafe so it’s a bit tight trying to get through. Not social at all

Das hostel an sich war voll in Ordnung, aber die Betten waren eine Frechheit!!! Es war einfach ein harter Styropor Klotz. Selbst der Boden wäre weicher gewesen.

I have no idea how this hostel has such a high rating. The mattress of bed that I stayed in was rock hard, it was a top bunk and it had nothing that could keep me from falling out of the bed. The hostel looks very old and messy. The bathroom was a disaster and needs a lot of maintenance. There were no real curtains in the room, so it was super light. Also I was given no key for the room, so it was open all day and night and very easy accessible for everyone that would walk by.

Easily one of my favorite hostels, the kindness of the owner and staff and the vibes are truly special. Many thank Li for making this place feel like a home!

Great hostel, Lii was a great host and we even convinced her to cook for us, which we paid her back for. Great vibe from the people staying there, great location and well worth it for so cheap! Definitely stay here if you’re going to Pai.

The bathroom in the room wasn't very clean, and the walls were full of stains and dead insects. There was also chewing gum on the wall, and you couldn't close the door, so everyone from the street could potentially get in. However, the people that worked there were really nice and it was cheap. It was okay for one night!

We had the best time in Paifah hostel. Ching (sorry if I spelled that wrong), the owner of the hostel is a really sweet hardworking person, she makes all the people in the hostel feel like one big family. When we were there Bella and Zara also worked there and took initiative to do all sorts of fun activities with the whole group. There was free breakfast and free family dinner every day! Paifah 4ever!!!!!!!!!!😝🤩😍🥳

I had the best stay of my life there. Yes, it is not the most luxuous rooms ever but I felt comfy and safe, and the best part is the vibe and the managers and reps. Every night is host a family dinner so we just eat all together, go see sunset together, go out together, etc, you just get yourself a little family over there :) I just loved how easy it has been to have a friend group and everyone was adorable so I had the time of my life (also the dinner food was amazing). Thank you Ying !

The best hostel ever in Pai, good location, it is in the middle of the town. Everything is so convenient

very social hostel, made lots of friends. had an issue with bed bugs but got changed rooms and they did my washing just in case. free breakfast and dinner, dinner was absolutely massive portions and an easy way to meet people. Momo was a legend and helped me out a bunch.
