Nyhavn63 Capsule Hostel

Pod was clean, but the bathrooms were small, gross, and cramped. Couldn’t shut the door in the bathroom without brushing up against the communal toilet. The toilets also don’t flush over half of the time. The chargers in the pod barely worked. There’s no air conditioning in the pods and the fans don’t circulate the air at all. They leave windows open to the outside so it would often smell like cigarettes.

I will never go back here!!! only 1 of 2 toilets was in use. there was an extremely loud noise in the hallway all night. the cooling in the box was useless. I guess it was 45 degrees in the box. we had to keep the door completely open to avoid boiling. I regret not booking myself into a normal hotel. I only managed to sleep 1 hour in total during the night. I definitely do not recommend this place!!!

Weinig wc's en douches en ze zijn in de kamer. De capsules hebben heel weinig verlichting. Geen aangename ervaring op een warme dag/nacht. Dekens, matras, kussen roken naar zweet en muf. 1 wc zat verstopt. 7 e-mails gekregen van het hostel waarvan de meerderheid ging over in- en uitchecken. Ze waren allemaal al verouderd zei de man aan de receptie. Er moet niet meer uitgecheckt worden. 10 euro voor bagageopslag, terwijl ik ze gerust ook al op de kamer had kunnen zetten, die deuren staan toch los

I genuinely can sleep (almost) anywhere AND never write reviews, but this place was truly terrible. It must've been ~90 degrees in my pod, I was literally wet from sweat. Bathrooms were foul. Do not stay here.

No soap. Lack of toilets. No electricity. Hot noisy. And will not return

It actually was an awful Experience. The stuff was super rude and i did Not felt welcome There at all. The place was Not clean and There was No Place for storage. The capsules smelled like sweat - i dont think that the bedding has ever been Changed. It was super Hot in the capsules and no air conditioning. I would Not recommend This Hostel at all - the only good thing about it was the placement.

Super Lage allerdings war das Hostel sehr enttäuschend. Kaum Platz, Duschen ect. nicht wirklich sauber und kaum Platz, sich außerhalb der Kapseln aufzuhalten. Habe mich leider sehr unwohl gefühlt und bin früher abgereist.

I am not one to leave bad reviews, however I feel it is necessary with this place. It is the worst hostel experience I and my girlfriend have ever had. I booked a private room (which they show on their website) and found that I was in a capsule in a dorm with a LOT of other people. You can't put a sliding door on a capsule and claim it to be a private room. It was uncomfortable, dirty, smelly and uncomfortable and the "24 hour reception" only opened at 2pm. I'm still waiting for my refund

We slept in capsules. It offers only visual privacy, doors are very noisy and you can hear very well what happens in any capsule of the room. There was 2 toilets and 3 showers for a room where 36 person can fit, which is a bit less than what you could expect. No complain about the hygiene of them, it was the best achievable considering the number of people using it. There is no really common room, no kitchen. Only a small bar that acts also as reception. We didn't feel greeted there.

It's a great location, but it is much too expensive for the little amount of services and medium facilities.

It was ok. We stayed in a capsule. Some other people in a different capsule were yelling all night so I slept poorly. I wish there was a stricter policy about noise guven that it explicitly says this is a quiet hostel

Amazing stay, the capsules were great and I slept so well in the capsules. Only critique is that renting a locker cost me €10, which felt a bit much, in comparison to the fact that other hostels and hotels mind your luggage for free. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay!

The capsules are a great option, privacy at the lowest cost, the mattress was comfortable and it was good to have two sockets. The capsule was a bit cold for me and I was glad I brought an extra travel blanket on my trip, it also didn't smell very fresh inside and the fan function did not seem to do anything. Facilities wise, it offers a little less than other hostels with no kitchen area for guests to use a sink or fridge and the only secure luggage storage cost extra.

Capsule hotel is located very conveniently, metro (shuttle boat) stop nearby, end of a quite busy street (lively but quiet enough) Shops, restaurants around the area Check-in and check-out are automated - convenient (personally, I had no issues) The capsule (for 2 people) is alright in size (there is no luggage space: so if you have a wheeled luggage, you would have to keep it outside, if it’s a backpack, you could keep inside by your legs) The place is regularly cleaned Best value for ...

I had an amazing stay at this capsule hostel in Copenhagen. The concept is comfortable, and incredibly well-designed — each capsule offers privacy, perfect cleanliness, and all the essentials for a great night’s rest. But what truly made the experience special were the hosts — genuinely kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their warm attitude made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived !!!

We stayed one night in a double capsule. The capsule was pretty warm and you need to keep it a little open during the night to let in some air. The bathroom could have more hooks or shelves to put toiletries and hang up your stuff, but other than that it was pretty easy and felt safe.

Leider können keine Kinder in den Capseln übernachten. Das hatte ich beim Buchen nicht gesehen, uns somit standen wir vor einem Problem. Das Geld haben wir leider nicht zurück bekommen, da wir nicht mehr stornieren konnten. Natürlich war es mein Fehler, aber der Mitarbeiter sagte, dass das öfters passieren würde. Vielleicht wäre es gut, wenn der Hinweis anders platziert werden würde.

I just wish the showers had somewhere to put your clothes! Making your shower rooms more practical with extra hooks are always a bonus

A very central located place in one of Copenhagens most beautiful areas! The feeling was not quite that of a typical hostel, as there were no kitchen or other shared spaces where you can prepare your food, have a coffee and get to know new people. Everything was very small and simple and the hostel didn’t offer any facilities more than the very basics. The cleanliness was quite okay. We never got to see any staff. But everything worked smoothly, there were no organization issues.

The location is amazing, within 5 minutes you get to go on a metro. The toilets were a bit dirty at times. There was no kitchen equipment or laundry machine, which is good to keep in mind. The capsules were clean and not that noicy (of course you can hear some noices). All in all had a pleasant stay here and would visit again!

I was there for 2 nights. Everything was pretty clean, easy to check-in/check-out by yourself. Good location and good value overall.
