Popoyo Casa Manglar

We loved our stay at casa manglar, even after leaving I wish I could come back! Great vibe, lovely casitas, so many nice places to chill, walking distance to everything you need! We loved it :)

Beautiful little hostel on the Guasacate side of Popoyo, very relaxed and great for switching off by the beach. No A/C but it cooled down at night with the fan, and Julia was so helpful throughout our stay!

If you are looking for a calm, beatiful place, look no further. Super beatiful room and garden with a great kitchen. Surfbreaks in walking distance. The owner, Rafa, is a super nice guy, just as his staff. We booked two nights and stayed for a week.

We loved staying at casa manglar. The staff was super nice. The owner took us on a boat trip that was super fun. I would 10/10 recommend this place.

Cash only, to surf the 'beginners' bay or the advanced beachbreak you need to cross the river which split the beach by foot wich makes you wet until your nipples. so think about that while booking with surfing there in mind, great rooms!

This place is brand new (hence the few reviews). We had a great time staying here, the girls were super accommodating and friendly. The cabins are newly built and have a clean and fully equipped kitchen. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Please go and stay here! The staff at Casa Manglar were absolutely incredible. The villas are beautiful and very relaxing. You can easily walk to the surf and restaurants/supermarket. The owned even drove us to go and hire surf boards he was amazing. My brother left his passport and wallet in the room and the staff at Casa Manglar went above and beyond to make sure it got back to us safely as we were already in Granada by the time we realised we had lost it. Thank you, this place is awesome!

This place is BEAUTIFUL! We were a little unsure of booking this due to there being no reviews but I assure you this is only bcs the casa is new. Casa Manglar has been beautifully designed with a fully equipped kitchen, lots of hammocks/seating areas and even a small work out area. The rooms are super clean, spacious, quiet and cool at night - we had the best sleep! The owner is super friendly, he offered to take us out for a surf and even dropped us at the bus when we left - we 100% recommend!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt! Der Ort ist sehr grün und es gibt draußen viele Orte zum entspannen. Die Gastgeber*innen waren zudem total nett und hilfsbereit, wir kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder!!!
