Losmanos Hostel

Unfortunately my bed had bed bugs:( I told the staff and they offered me a private room for no other cost, but they didn’t seem too surprised about the bed bugs unfortunately — and after speaking with them I learned this was not the first time there was an issue in the hostel, and it seemed like not much action was happening about the issue. If this wasn’t an issue then the hostel would have been great, but due to this I left before spending a night there.

The room next to me had bed bugs which made me feel uncomfortable and i think the hostel could be better arranged. Need a refresh in the bathroom/toilets.

We sadly had bedbugs in our room on my second night. They came from two mattresses that were put in later (on the second day). They were put in in the afternoon, before two new guests checked in. Apparently they were stored outside for a few days after cleaning. I dont know if they were infested before or if they got infested while being outside. When we came back in the evening there were bedbugs on the mattresses, curtains and crawling on the floor and walls. Luckily we noticed them before spending the second night in the room. We were offered a refund and could choose between moving to another dorm or leaving the hostel. I dont know how the problem was handled afterwards, if the room and mattresses were treated and if the next guests were informed and stayed in the room. It seemed to us that it must/may have been a known problem since we found a few reviews already mentioning bedbugs afterwards. Hopefully this problem will be handled because otherwise i really enjoyed my stay there!

Leider gab es in unserem Zimmer ein Problem mit Bettwanzen. Die Kommunikation darüber wirkte nicht ganz transparent, und es scheint, als wäre das Thema im Hostel bereits länger bekannt und es wird nicht genug effektiv dagegen vorgegangen. Aber man bot uns eine Rückerstattung für die betroffene Nacht bzw. einen Zimmerwechsel an sowie auch, die Kleidung zu waschen - das war positiv.

BED BUGS!!! Chaos in the hostel. They let us, unwilling and knowingly, stay an extra night after bed bugs were confirmed in the hostel. They didn’t inform people we found out through others. There was also a sanitary towel on the wall of the shower for over 24 hours. There is not enough space for someone to even open the door fully never mind have your bag in your room at night. Yet there aren’t even anywhere near enough lockers per a bed. Curtain also didn’t even cover the bed so there was no privacy. Madness. Would not recommend.

De hygiëne. Een groot probleem met bedbugs in de grote slaapzaal, waarvan ze (toen ik later met hen in gesprek ging) waarschijnlijk al langer op de hoogte waren. Hebben wel al mijn kleren gewassen op aanvraag en mijn geld terug gekregen voor ik naar een hotel vertrok na 1 nacht daar verbleven te hebben, in plaats van de geplande 3 nachten, maar vroegen wel of ik mijn mond wilde houden tegen de andere gasten over de bedbugs. Andere jongen met bed aan compleet andere kant van de kamer trof rond zelfde tijd ook bedbugs aan in zijn bed. Bleven gewoon mensen inchecken in dezelfde kamer zonder deze grondig aangepakt te hebben. Hierna hebben nog overigens nog meer mensen in diezelfde kamer bedbugs aangetroffen in hun bed. Lijkt een groot probleem wat meer aanpak nodig heeft dan alleen de lakens behandelen met chemisch spul en een lapje door de kamer heen halen.

I slept in the 10mix dorm which was actually 15 mix dorm and I had bed bugs in my bed, I noticed after the first night, so I went to the reception, the stuff was nice but the reaction seemed like they already knew and they asked me right away if I want to cancel the booking or another bed. There are lockers available but you have to buy your own lock.

Dirty and unhygienic we got ear infections from the pool and bed bugs!

J'ai du mal à comprendre les notes de cette auberge, nous y avons dormi dans une chambre privée qui définitivement ne l'est pas, on entends tout, les murs et la porte sont épais comme du papier cigarette. Je pense que cette auberge correspond plutôt bien aux jeunes backpackers, pas trop regardant sur l'hygiène. En effet, quand on pose un matelas à même le sol avec cette chaleur, accessible à toutes sortes d'insectes et de fourmis, on en ressort avec des petits boutons sur tout le corps. Nous avons même peur d'avoir ramené des punaises de lit. A voir en rentrant à la maison. Concernant la piscine, impossible d'être utilisée, une couche de saleté est présente, dégueulasse. Douches et wc communs, pour l'intimité il faudra repasser. Les gérants sont jeunes et ouverts, on ne peut leur enlever celà. Pour autant je ne recommande pas du tout cet établissement. Rajoutez 10€ par nuit et soyez tranquilles. Dommage, car le quartier est vraiment sympa.
