Ostello Bello Napoli

Afgelopen week 5 dagen verbleven in dit hostel. Goede locatie, maar al snel was alles erg triest. Er zaten bedbugs in onze kamer, geen raam kon open slechte ventilatie, geen goede douche voorzieningen en erg smerig! Er zaten vlekken op de matrassen en op het dakterras. Er was geen mogelijkheid om op het terras te zitten, lokale bevolking zit op de terrassen en na 22 uur geen mogelijkheid voor het dakterras. Als je met vrienden wat wilt drinken, moet dit dus op de kamer waar iedereen je hoort. Oftewel geen aanrader!!

Bed bugs, room 38 is so bad and smells dirty. The bed bugs are big and everywhere. In room 38 there is no window that can open, bad ventilation, it’s literally the worst room in the hostel. We booked a luxury room and we got nothing.

The location is great. It closes to many waling street like Toledo and just 2 min or 2 metro stop to central train station. The best thing here were hostel staffs. All were great actually, super friendly and helpful. Toilets were clean and enough. The only cons were the bed wasn't that great. I think I have a few bedbug bitten and feeled itchy a bit. Please fix it.

BED BUGS! Room 36. Woke up with multiple adult bed bugs on both of our beds. My sweater and t shirt that were loose in the under bed lockers were COVERED in eggs. Had to spend 3+ hours washing and dryer all of our belongings and made us miss our car rental we had planned. Also extremely loud at night from the bar. I know it’s not necessarily the hostel’s fault that they have bed bugs but if you’re travelling to Naples around mid November 2023, don’t stay here until they’ve had time to deal.

Bedbugs! After I saw Bedbugs in my bed and showed them to the receptionist. I got another bed, also with bedbugs. Then I quit the hostel. They told me they are aware of this problem and tried to get it under control for the last few months but weren't able to do it.

Bed bugs! Two of us stayed in a 6 person dorm discovered bites all-over our body after leaving. Otherwise a fantastic hostel.

This place was close to being one of the best hostels ive stayed at. Until i got absolutely eaten alive there by bed bugs. This place was infested, it was kind of sad when i brought to the attention of the staff and all they did was offer me free laundry.. they gave me another bed in the same room and had someone else staying in the same bed that was infested with bed bugs that same night!

Loved the vibe, bar and terrace in the hostel. Very easy to meet people. Bathrooms were clean. However, I realized after 2 days that I had bedbugs in my bed (35D) and I got an allergic reactions to them.

The dirtiest hostel I stayed in my entire euro trip. I dropped my shampoo in the shower and had to wash the bottle. BUT made sooo many friends, Carlo the bartender was memorable, the common area is the best I’ve seen and things got better in the UNGRADED SHARED ROOM I booked when I extended 5x the location really is prime but they need help on cleanliness soooo bad. A friend got bed bugs.

Found bed bugs. I recorded and showed to front desk. They couldn’t find another room so I ended up moving to hotel nearby instead. Management said they will be investigating and take measurements to fix. I left something so went back to the room 20 minutes later and I saw my bed was occupied by someone new. It’s honestly not ethical to not making any actions in my opinion

THIS HOSTEL HAS BED BUGS! I stayed here with a friend and she took a nap the day we arrived and woke up with bites. We checked the mattress and found one. When we told the front desk they said we would get a refund given we checked out immediately, but I have contacted the property and they have not gotten back to me despite raising this concern in person. The front desk worker said he had to see the bug to confirm- bugs move? What type of logic is that. Two other people in our room said they were itchy. Th

Overpriced for what you get, but I guess it is the high season. Safety and security a bit of a concern too. The door from the bar to the dorms that should always be locked was never locked when I was there. This is more worrying since the bar attracts a huge amount of locals (usually very young locals). There was also someone keeping their stuff in our room despite not actually staying in the dorm and staff would have been fully aware of this because they were very friendly with this person. Where they actually stayed in the hostel is another question. Some of the worst customer service I've seen as well. Although personally I found the staff very accommodating for small requests, when it came to larger but easily solvable things their customer service was awful. For example, a friend's room had bed bugs and their air conditioning didn't work for the entire week, and this is with a record heatwave in the country. You'd expect when these concerns are aired early you'd at least receive a partial refund for the lack of quality facilities that you paid for. The staff didn't seem to care however, and only offered free tokens for the washing machine. They did nothing about the AC from what I understand. Good customer service isn't hard! Again, this is a great place to meet other people and some of my best memories of this trip will be from Naples, but you do expect a certain standard of accommodation and care when you're paying a decent premium for a hostel and this wasn't met.

Everything was great till me and my bunkmates got bedbugs…

On my visit I was bitten all over by bedbugs - including my face. I was finally given a full refund after a lengthy dispute with the hostel and I left the hostel 3 days early due to this and the fact 2 girls in my room kept opening up the window right next to my bed in the middle of the night in WINTER and the staffs solution was to make me move rooms at midnight because I kept closing the window. Then in the room and bed I was moved to I was bitten by bedbugs. Worst hostel experience ever. Very disappointi
