    We had booked one night, but ended up not staying because we found bed bugs when we checked the bed at check-in. To the credit of the staff, they handled the issue professionally and issued a full refund when we presented the evidence of bed bugs in our room. Unfortunately, bed bugs are a common issue in hotels across Alice Springs, so remember to check your bed before unpacking your things.

    Whilst the property is clean and well situated, the mattress/pillows in the cabin I was staying in are infested with bed bugs. Unfortunately it takes a few days for the bites to become obvious but when they do, it is highly uncomfortable. In retrospect I can now better understand that there were signs of this infestation but I was not aware of these until I had been bitten over the course of three nights. The email I sent advising of the infestation was replied to in a cursory manner and I have my concerns that no action will be taken. I am therefore unable to recommend this accommodation to fellow travellers.
