Fatima Hostel Santa Marta

The front desk attendant was very rude, she blew her nose in her hand while checking me in and told me she was sick, it was so bad it was comical, the next morning the staff were all very kind and helpful though, so Mabel she was just having a bad day. Overall the location is very central but it is pretty run down, the ac doesn’t work, I wouldn’t recommend it

Reception was unfriendly and behaving in a weird way. I went to the second floor where there was supposed to be a bar and other travellers and there were people from the city smoking weed. Really felt unsafe there. The location is great, close to the central park however the street (even if only 150m from the park) is very lonely and felt not so safe there either. Booked a private room, did not have toilet paper, no soap, very dirty, didn't like it.

Les photos ne correspondent pas à la réalité, la chambre était moisi c’était un insalubre il y avait des insectes et des cheveux dans le lit et pas de lunettes sur les toilettes. Photo à l’appui. Et aucun remboursement n’a été possible

Ik kreeg op de dag zelf een melding dat m’n reservering was geannuleerd. Dezelfde dag kamer opnieuw geboekt. Toen ik aan kwam konden ze mn reservering weer niet vinden. Wel 2x aanbetaling gedaan en nog steeds niet terug. Uiteindelijk wel een kamer gekregen. De ventilator maakt heel veel geluid en komt door je oordoppen heen. Het personeel was wel aardig en meedenkend.

Toilet didn’t flush, room felt very dirty. There were almost no people except for weird guys. Good for one night but couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Ein schon sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Hostel. Ich würde nicht mehr dort Buchen. Personal war nett.

Ojo, la habitación privada con cama de matrimonio no tiene ventana. No hay ni ventilación de aire ni aire acondiciado, sólo un ventilador. La temperatura adentro es infernal. Hace demasiado calor! El hostal debería indicar esto en la aplicación.

C’est simple la chambre puait la mort. La douche ne marchait pas et la prise à pris feu en branchant mon téléphone! A et aussi il mette de la musique à fond jusqu’à 00j donc bon courage pour dormir

La Limpieza es muy poca . La Actitud de las chicas que limpian es muy baja .

Generalmente bien, pero nos disgusto que apaguen los aires acondicionados en la mañana cuando queríamos seguir durmiendo

It was okay as we have just been there for one night. Our room didn‘t have air conditioning and because the window was heading to the hallway and patio, it wasn‘t possible to open it during the night. Because of that it was really hot in the room, even though we had a ventilator. The kitchen was out of service during our stay. We probably wouldn‘t come back.

Decent location near parque de los novios, booked a private room that was good value for money. Could've been a little cleaner and it was very warm, there was a fan provided in the room but no Aircon.

I wouldn’t stay here again and we cancelled our booking for our return to Santa Marta. The room we had booked (a private) was unbearably hot with its only window opening into the communal area. We had to pay to upgrade to a room with AC. The music from the rooftop bar could be loudly heard from our room, but does go off at around midnight. It’s also the first hostel we’ve stayed in that charges for water refill. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was nice and it was clean

Superbe auberge où l'on peut s'arrêter quelques jours comme plusieurs semaines, les hôtes sont très accueillants, super bien placé dans le centre historique, avec toutes les commodités nécessaires et très bien entretenu. Je recommande !

Emplacement très chouette, juste en dehors de la cohue du centre-ville, la piscine est très appréciée au vu de la chaleur à Santa Marta ! Petit bémol pour le ventilateur super bruyant que nous n’avons pas su utiliser la nuit et les volets qui ne ferment pas et qui donnent accès à la chambre très facilement.

Overall the hostel is okay. The bathroom was really dirty and there also was no AC in the room or anything so it felt like you were sleeping in a sauna. The location is good and you can also cook there.

Excelente hostal en cuanto a precio -calidad. Habitaciones cómodas, terraza increíble, piscina, perfecto para descansar. La ubicación está buenísima cerca de tiendas, paradas de busetas, de la playa , del centro. Las personas que trabajan ahí son un 10 y siempre están dispuestas a entregarte información de cosas para hacer por la zona. Lo único q mejoraría de la cocina son algunos implementos especialmente los quemadores porque uno se quema mucho al cocinar :)

Un hostal súper bonito con una terraza que tiene una buena vista. Todo es limpio y el personal es muy amable, especialmente Ángela!!

we loved our experience at Fatima Hostel. The staff (esp. angela and Luz) were so helpful and kind giving us lots of recommendations. the hostel is located in a cental part of Santa Marta (close to el parque de los novios) where you must go at night! also, the thurd floor balcony is a wonderful place to hang out and the kitchen is always nice and clean! we would definitely come back to Fatima Hostal ✨️

We stayed twice at Fatima Hostels while in Santa Marta. The hostel is in a good, safe location close to lots of bars/restaurants and the beach. Valeria was very helpful with any questions or concerns we had. The hostel is simple, but a great place for a great sleep. Breakfast was also very good! There is a kitchen available to cook in as well.

Good hostel, fair price and in a nice location. The rooftop bar is decent and theres usually plenty of people to meet

Had a great stay at the hostel. the staff is nice and we were able to leave our luggage there while visitng the Tayrona Park. Would book again.

Nous y avons passé une nuit. L’endroit est très chouette, les lieux communs sont très agréables. C’était assez propre et le personnel très à l’écoute, nous avons passé un agréable moment.

Ich war nur eine nacht da daher kann ich nicht all zu viel sagen. Isabela an der rezepzion war sehr freundlich.
