Spent big money just for a bed but sheet even not be washed , cuz I licked it could feel salty that came from people’s sweat , and I was put in a worst bed , upper and close to street noisy felt like a coffin feeling , I asked staff to reserve me a lower bed cuz I booked early and was answered who come first who take wanted bed , but I found later a girl who came after me she took a lower bed , is it fair ? Price is super high but things I experienced completely not match the price !!!

We booked a Northern Lights activity with this company through Visit Tromsø. The confirmation email clearly stated that we needed to arrive at 18:15. However, they left without us, claiming the departure time was 18:00. Thankfully, Visit Tromsø stepped in and resolved the issue for us. Pire Hostel que je n’ai jamais fait. Beaucoup d’humidité, les fenêtres dans les chambres sont cassées et on pouvait entendre les voitures passer comme si on était dehors. Propreté des lieux communs difficile car seulement 2 salles de bains pour 14 personnes. On était très serrés les uns aux autres. Really odd experience. We were brought to our building and told the front door was broken so we weren’t allowed to fully close the door, let alone lock it. Confusing organization as there were a ton of people volunteering and living at the hostel but there weren’t many guests so it felt a bit odd although they were nice and took us on a midnight sun hike. Whilst the hostel is cheap compared to accommodation around, this is the worst hostel I’ve stayed at and by far the most expensive. Lots of things are broken, no lockers and no locks to individual rooms. Staff are barely there and do not help very much with recommending things to do. Booked a 4 person dorm but was greeted with a 5 person dorm. Owner is great however, very friendly and helpful but does not make up for the state of the hostel.

Kalt i rommet , så tynn madrass att det var umulig å sove, håndduker var det masse flekker på. Toalett å dusj helt elendig. aldrig mer

Tuve muchos problemas. No había completado mi reserva y en Tromso fui al hostal para aclararles que no me iba a hospedar ahí. Se molestaron las 3 personas que estaban ahí y me dijeron que tenía que pagar de todos modos. Me amenazaron con llamar a la policía y se quedaron con mi teléfono mientras iba por dinero. Llegué y aunque les dije que no se me hacía justo..un día anterior les mandé mensaje y ya que fui para avisarles que no estaría ahí...me dijeron que debpagadtodmodo...

I would not ho back to this Hostel. No cleaness, very uncomphortable beds, almost no attendance from the personnel. 1 bathroom for 10 people. Very messy ambience

Great small hostel in a great location in Tromsø. Everything in the area is expensive so if you can get in here it’s great. Location is great cannot stress enough. Electric heaters in each room.

Its small but sufficient for a spot to sleep. The location is amazing and you can easily do anything you want to do in tromso with a 15 minute walk maximum.

everything was good, except u have no privacy/no curtains. It was the most expensive hostel so please invest in curtains. Excelent location, clean and good heating

It was a very nice stay. The hostel is in the city centre, super close to the main street. Maybe a bit expensive, I know Norway it’s expensive, but more than 100€ per night in a shared room in a hostel is a bit too much, especially considering the facilities are not very well maintained. Another thing I didn’t liked so much was the fact that the room had no personal closet space. Apart from these small things I enjoyed my time here!

Quelle auberge! Emplacement absolument imbattable à Tromsø, où on se sent comme chez soi. Oubliez les gros hostels, ici c’est comme une grande coloc! Les volontaires qui tiennent l’hostel sont toustes incroyables, de bons conseils pour découvrir la ville, voir les aurores etc. On est triste de devoir en partir!

It is one of the more affordable options as the hotel prices tripled during the northern light season. I stayed at the house where the reception is. The room is not soundproof as people walking up and down the stairs can be heard. I slept on the top of the double decker bed and getting up is an issue as I will hit my head on the ceiling. Excelente ubicación de verdad, a 2 cuadras de la peatonal más visitada y a menos de 10 minutos de la costa. Ambiente cálido

The hostel vibe is very good but there is a huge lack in the cleaning. We were in the secondary place of the main hostel, which is 30 seconds away, and the quality and service was not the same. In our building the toilets were always dirty, the shower was full of hair( felt like it has never been washed) the rooms when we arrived were dirty, we did not have a sheet, and there is always a nasty smell. For the price paid, I think they should offer at least a clean room and bathroom.

Located in the core area, it takes only 5-10 minutes to walk to the dock station. Although the room is relatively ordinary, considering its price, it is still very competitive. The minimum cost for a single room in the same location is 200 US dollars a day

Nice, cosy and very welcoming staff. A good option against overpriced hotels.

Fijne sfeer, prettige gemeenschappelijke ruimtes, goede verwarming. Minpunt: tijdens mijn verblijf kwam er iemand na middernacht aan, dat vond ik vervelend vanwege licht en lawaai.

Super cosy hostel in the centre of the city. Close to tours and shops. Beds were comfy and rooms were super warm despite the cold. Bathrooms were cleaned well. Very homely feel. Would recommend
