L'Artista Hostel

All info given by receptionist are false. He said no bed available in hostel on Feb-15 and I found beds at hostelworld for the same night ! He told me no night bus to El nido and there's one every night. I could have travelled instead of staying one more night. Money lost. Poor level of english, very little interest. All sockets broken, fixed with sticker. Expensive restaurant so I ate outside. Only problems

This hostel had potential but we were the only ones staying there. Very glad I wasn’t solo otherwise would have been lonely. We stayed over Easter so might have had an impact. Owners were lovely but they did lock us out, I think it was accidental but we had to climb to get in. Thankfully wasn’t too hard, we weren’t told of a curfew and it wasn’t late. But again was Easter so the restaurant was closed maybe that was it. Far out from town too.

Das Hostel war echt süß aufgebaut. Sobald sich jemand im Bett etwas bewegt hat hat das ganze Bett gewackelt. Super nervig. Zudem war die Klimaanlage am morgen echt laut und wirklich erfrischend war sie auch nicht.

El hostel estaba limpio y con un restaurant muy bueno pero el aire acondicionado que estaba en mi habitación hacía demaciado ruido, le informé a una persona del staff y dijeron que lo iban a arreglar. Nadie lo arregló y lo tuvimos que apagar en la noche por que era imposible dormir. Deberían invertir un poco más y renovar el aire acondicionado.

clean, enough space in the dorm, good food in the restaurant, no hostel vibe, location is very remote

cute place, INSANELY squeaky beds. I could not sleep at all with the amount of loud high picked squeak that the bunk beds in dorm 3 made anytime anyone moved. I feel that could be easily fixed by staff. pizza was yummy, expensive but convenient. staff was enthusiastic and friendly as a solo traveler they talked to me during my entire dinner and pizza got cold, lol nice and cheap place. close to the mall!

great spot if you need to stay near the airport for an evening. rooms were nice and organized with all you need in your locker (including two pillows). Only complaint is that the AC isn’t really AC and insta a vent and some fans and so I woke up very very hot and it really messed up the start of my travel day.

It was a good stay for one night. Everything was clean but the beds were a bit shaky. Some of the staff was unfriendly and they couldn’t even give us a number to call a taxi or help us with our transport until the destination wasn’t el nido. But it’s near to the airport.

My friends and I only stayed for the night. But we enjoyed it! The staff is very friendly and it’s a very nice/small hostel. The food in the restaurant was good too, but a bit expensive. There was a bad storm the night we were there and lost power which meant we lost the AC for a few hours in the middle of the night. It was hot, but luckily it did turn back on. But that’s not the hostels fault! Would recommend staying here!

L’artista was a perfect place to stay in Puerto Princesa whilst passing through. Curtains on bed and lockers in room. Safe water barrel to fill up at. My only gripe is that the wifi did not work. Apart from that A+

Je ne suis restée que deux nuits le temps d'un transfert mais l'établissement est très chouette, cocooning, on peut manger sur place grâce au resto, c'est un peu cher mais c'est bon et pratique. Les dortoirs sont convenables ça fait le taff

Très content de mon séjour. Auberge vraiment pas cher et très bien! Prore, avec même une douche pour l'eau chaude ! Lits confortables avec rideaux et le personnal est super sympa !

Great place to stay, small amount of rooms, incredible food and drink, nice facilities, no social events or anything to socialise

Nous ne sommes resté que une nuit mais le dortoir est super avec beaucoup d’espace ! L’endroit est super jolie je conseil !

Great hostel for a quick stop in Puerto Princesa with clean bathroom facilities and a great restaurant downstairs!

Tolles Hostel für eine Nacht!! Betten sind sehr bequem mit Vorhang. Das wifi is gut und das Restaurant is toll. Nicht besonders Social aber für eine Nacht nicht schlimm

Very nice hostel. Had an amazing and would love to come back. The saff is really friendly and helps you with any needs. The hostel has its own Italian restaurant with delicious food. Can only recommend!!

Very beautifull hostal. It was super super clean, nice room, nice beds and nic bathroom. wifi works perfectly and the restaurant under was just delicious! def would recommend to stay here!

Stay at this hostel when you come the ppc!! It is very clean, has hot showers, FAST WiFi, cold AC that runs all day and comfy beds. The food is a little pricey here(compared to other places I PH) but absolutely delicious and high quality. Not a party hostel but you will have a good rest when you come here!
