Ac not working bed bugs so unclean

I need to talk about one of the most ridiculous nights I have ever experienced. Honestly, I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through something like this. Unfortunately, there seems to be a general bed bug problem here. As soon as I realized there were bed bugs in the bed, I quickly tried to save my belongings and myself, and I ended up spending the entire night on the balcony. I didn’t want to disturb anyone during the night. Maybe I should have informed the staff member I mentioned earlier, but I chose not to. I simply believed that in the morning I could explain the situation and that my inconvenience would be understood. The response I received was simply: “I cleaned that place. Maybe someone brought them from another hostel.” After spending such a terrible night, hearing a response like this is honestly unbelievable. The level of indifference and lack of responsibility here is shocking. This place really needs to be inspected. Also, someone should seriously investigate the smell inside the hostel. The odor in the corridor before even entering the room smells worse than garbage. Overall, this place is a series of mistakes and clearly very poorly managed. I have around 7 years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry, so I don’t say this lightly.

BED BUGS. Had to get out of there after paying for a second night and realizing theres bed bugs here. Unfortunately staff are very hard to find so i didnt get my money back. The man in charge was sweet and nice but this is not okay

Owner is nice. location good. but there are bed bugs!!! even tho I moved another hostel after weeks,I still found bed bugs on my clothes and bag. I recommend to go to other hostels with same price and have better bed and shower room.

Bed bug! I sort of feel bad for posting this because the owner was really nice but I think I'll still need to share it when it comes to bed bugs since they might be worse than COVID. The owner was very nice and let me check in 2 hours early and I was lying down in bed for about 3 hours and then I found a bed bug. I got a full refund but I already got bitten several places on my body. This is not the only hostel with bed bugs in the city. I also found another bed bug in Saigon City Center Hostel, and there are reports of bed bugs in Aule hostel and Sakura hostel. There must be more but those are the only ones I'm aware of.

Here is my honest review. The hostel is in the best possible location and it's dirt cheap. Stayed there for two nights, met some nice people, you probably will too, there is always someone on the balcony to talk too. Showers and toilets are okay, not great. But what do you expect for this price? Some security issues can occure, don't leave your stuff unattended, basically anyone can enter the hostel any time. I didn't encounter any bedbugs but people there say there are some so wash your clothes after staying there, just in case... overall the experience was great! I stayed there during the national holiday and enjoyed walking around the center with the option to drop by and have a rest within 5-minute walking distance

I feel bad because the owner was so nice, but I saw a bedbug in my bed and immediately checked out… it’s a bit dirty and the mattress is hard but for the price and location I don’t really care, but that’s where I draw the line:(
