Bedbugs.

The shower was partially open/missing a pane, so water would just spray directly out and flood the bathroom….?! We just used the handheld and faced away to avoid this but it really should have an additional window pane/door. The staff said that was the way it was designed, including in some other hostels around Spain, but that seems like quite a flaw… Also some other travellers likely helped themselves to the food I put in the communal kitchen fridge. The noise outside is a little loud as all the private rooms are just on the 2nd floor, and neighbours are loud coming and going, so it’s best if you have earplugs or are a heavier sleeper.

The manager is really not that smart, and the doors can't be locked. Also, there are bugs in the bedsheets. Please don't go here.

We had booked two beds in a shared room, and even though the service was very friendly, the people we shared a room with made us feel very uncomfortable. Middle aged men relaxing in their underpants, with one guy staring us, two young women, down and constantly observing us from across the room. I would not feel comfortable making eye contact with someone like that on the street, let alone sleep in the same room. I understand that this is not necessarily the hostel’s fault, but I would advise especially female visitors to stay away from booking the cheapest room in the cheapest hostel in Valencia. My friend and I felt so uncomfortable we had to last minute book a different hostel for our stay (we did not get a refund), and the guy at the reception advised us to in future only book all female dorms, these however are often more expensive, while getting the same bed as in a mixed dorm. After reading the reviews on bed bugs we are glad to have stayed away, however one useful thing is that luggage storage is included before and after your check in/out.

Mala experiencia en diversos sentidos. Ante todo quiero destacar que el personal (los trabajadores son muy amables y atentos, tanto recepción como el personal de la limpieza, no es culpa suya). El tema es que en el hostal se cuela gente que no es turista ni mochilera, homless que huelen mal y seguramente son bombas biologicas con patas, que te pueden contagiar con chinches o algo peor si antes no te matan con el hedor q desprenden. Por tanto la seguridad no es buena y la higiene de las instalaciones no se puede garantizar. En nuestra habitacion encontramos 2 cucarachas. Este hecho supuso dormir fatal i agobiada la primera noche. Afortunadamente, las señoras de la limpieza, se noto que limpiaron a fondo. Aun así, inevitablemente al admosfera del hostal es mala. Huele a cerrado. Volviendo al tema de la seguridad, un tio intento entrar 3 veces en el area de duchas de las chicas. Deberian poner un cierre de seguridad o dar llaves a las chicas para uso exclusivo del baño para que no se cuele ningún listo o algo peor como en este caso. Ya que cuando lo comunicamos en recepción, las responsables de un grupo de alumnas también les había sucedido lo mismo. Añado que el chico de recepción actuo al momento para tomar medidas contra el sujeto. En fin que si mejoran las cosas malas (ventilacion, bichos y seguridad). Es un hostal centrico y con muy buen personal.

Ohne Witz das schlimmste Hotel wo ich je war! Frühstück? Was für Frühstück? Es gab NUR Toast das so hart war, das man damit Nägel in die Wand hauen kann-zudem waren die Betten durchgelegen und die Bettdecken hatten interessante Flecken. Die Wände waren so dünn, ich konnte alles hören was unsere Zimmernachbarn erzählt haben, die Fenster gingen nicht richtig zu und von den Bettwanzen fang ich gar nicht erst an zu erzählen! Überall! Ich hätte denen eine Gute Nacht Geschichte vorlesen können! Von den 3 Gemeinschaftsklos hat 1 Klo funktioniert und die Türen bei den Gemeinschaftsduschen waren sowohl oben als auch unten offen, sodass man hätte durchgucken können! Eigentlich solide 0 Sterne verdient!

Wenn ich könnte würde ich 0 Sterne geben. Es war das schlimmste Hotel in dem ich je war. Bettwanzen in jedem Zimmer Wände so dünn man hat alles gehört. Betten unbequem gewesen man konnte sich nicht bewegen ohne das irgendwas Geräusche gemacht hat. Matratzen so durch gelegen das man gefühlt auf dem Bett Rost geschlafen hat. Essen schrecklich.

Schönes Hotell, wenn du auf stickige Luft, Bettwanzen und andere Insekten stehst. Das Zimmer war von Anfang an unangenehm stickig, selbst regelmäßiges Lüften hat nichts verbessert. Außerdem waren die Zimmer voll mit Bettwanzen und weiteren Insekten absolut inakzeptabel und alles andere als hygienisch. An einen erholsamen Aufenthalt war unter diesen Umständen nicht zu denken. Insgesamt eine große Enttäuschung. Ich kann dieses Hotel definitiv nicht weiterempfehlen.

war wunderschön, man konte gut mit den bettwanzen kuscheln, also wurde es auch nicht kalt. die duschen hatten auch wunderschöne überreste von vorherigrn nutzern wodurch man sich nicht alleine gefühlt hat.

Es gibt kein gutes Frühstück. Und es gibt Bettwanzen, aber die Lage ist super.

En el primer piso el baño es solamente mixto. Para ir a un baño separado había que ir al segundo piso. No eran muy limpios los baños ni la cocina. La habitación olía mal. Lo peor de todo fue que me picaron chinches. Cuando pedí un cambio de habitación me dijeron que no habían más disponibles. Tuve que yo pedir que me pagaran la limpieza de mi ropa. Realmente tenía muchísima picadas lo que significa una infestacion grande. El personal fue muy amable y me dieron un desayuno gratis.

Volvimos a casa con picaduras de chinches de cama por todo el cuerpo. La habitación de 8 olía mal, no por falta de limpieza, pero por higiene personal de los que compartían la habitación. En las mantas habían manchas de comida o de algo que se había quedado ahí desde hace tiempo. No recomendable la habitación de 8 en absoluto. La gente entrando y saliendo dando portazos y la sensación que la habitación nunca se ventiló. Mejor gastarse algo más y ganarlo en salud!

Chinches

There are bedbugs in the hostel, and I got bitten all over. When we reported it to the manager, they said there were no bedbugs and that since there was no blood on the sheets, it couldn’t have been from the bed. Only after long discussions and complaints did they offer to refund the money, but no other compensation. After we said we would call the police, they agreed to cover the cost of the medicine. Be careful!

Wie sind wir dort angereist? Mit einem sehr mulmigen Gefühl. Wieso? Wegen der vielen schlechten Kritiken, die vor Schmutz, Schimmel, alten herumlungernden Gästen und vor allem Bettwanzen warnten.. … Wie sind wir von dort abgereist? Fassungslos wegen der vielen falschen Kritiken!! Was haben wir erlebt? Ein tolles Hostel mit wirklich guten und sauberen Zimmern für unsere Schülergruppe der Klasse 12. Mit ganz besonders großen und gemütlichen Zimmern für uns als Betreuer: jeder von uns hatte ein Doppelbett mit Memoryschaum-Matratze. So etwas habe ich noch nicht einmal zuhause. Klimaanlage. TV. Sofa und Tisch. Schreibtisch und Stuhl. Ein großes Bad mit Dusche und Toilette. Tägliche Reinigung durch die Putzkräfte. Jeden zweiten Tag Handtuchwechsel bei allen, also auch den Schülern. Nirgendwo gab es auch nur ein einziges lebendes Tier bzw. Ungeziefer. Diese sind in Spanien im übrigen nicht unüblich. Die Unterkunft tut alles, um genau das zu verhindern. Das Frühstück war völlig ausreichend mit Toast, warmen und frischen Croissants, warmen und frischen Schokocroissants, Marmelade, Butter, verschiedenen Kaffeearten, Säften, Cornflakes. Die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich, machten für uns alles möglich, selbst ein Frühstück um 6 Uhr morgens oder den Schlüssel zur Küche für das Insulin zu über Schülerin. Also, um es kurz zu machen: Es war top! Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen, die schlechten Rezensionen hier sind Rufschädigung und völlig unbegründet!!!

C’è un odore nauseabondo. I letti sono spartani e non coincidono con le foto. I ventilatori sono rotti e ti puntano in testa. Frequentato da persone poco amichevoli e lo staff boh normale. Le lenzuola erano sporche e ho dormito con l’ansia dei “bed bug” che per fortuna non c’erano. Si dorme malissimo e non c’è privacy. Sconsigliato

I got bitten by a spider during my sleep and maybe bed bugs?not sure,but definitely had our bodies itching throughout the night,maybe it was an allergic reaction to the sheets.

We had to cancel due to serious health risks for a chronically ill travel companion with a very weak immune system. After reading recent reviews about bed bugs and hygiene issues, we couldn’t take the risk. We explained the situation clearly, but the hostel showed zero understanding or flexibility. If you’re looking for a place that handles concerns with basic care or humanity, look elsewhere.

Asqueroso. La habitación para 12 personas no tenía cortinas en las camas, ni lámpara de noche ni enchufe, pero había chinches. El recepcionista intentó pedirme un depósito de 5 euros (menos mal que no insistió). Al parecer, temía que me llevara algo de la fauna local😏 Para un hostal en el centro de una gran ciudad turística, esto es una auténtica vergüenza.

I stayed here 1 night, and woke up to a bed bug running across my body and multiple bed bug bites. The following day, I have more than 50 bites across my whole body, with more developing. Unlike any other hostel I have stayed in, these beds have no plastic sheets over the mattresses to help limit the spread of bedbugs. DO NOT stay here unless you want to be bitten or infested! The worst part is that there is an industrial laundry room on the first floor. The ceiling fans are also dangerous and look like they're going to fall at any second.

Hostel is full of BED BUGS!!!! Covered in bites and only stayed one night. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Room full of bed bugs. They realized it and just sealed the room taking my belongings away. They have not told me why - I then understood the reason because I realized I was covered in bites and I had seen an insect in the bed which I only later learnt was a bed bug. The staff was very chaotic concerning the money to give, when I was at the reception they would be nice and then send emails with aggressive tone to ask for payment - they could have asked when I was there in front of them!

The place was crawling with bedbugs, I'm full of bites, horrendous experience.

Aldough the staff was nice and friendly, the place is full bedbugs. I saw 4 in the morning, and I am covered with bites.

We had a terrible time at this hostel. We stayed for one night and while in the room we saw a small brown bug on the bed and identified it as a bed bug. We informed the staff that we had seen a bed bug and requested to move beds or dorms. We were told we couldn’t as they were fully booked and during the night they took any empty mattresses and put them on the ground. After this trip we then dealt with bed bug infestations at home, causing serious stress and financial burden, 0/10 don’t stay here

WORST HOSTEL EXPERIENCE EVER. BEDBUGS. Told the staff — they couldn’t care less. No help, no refund, just rude and arrogant replies like “That happens sometimes.” Rooms were filthy, communication was a joke, and the staff acted like I was the problem. Absolutely disgusting. Do NOT stay here. Not even for free. Sleep on a bench, it’s cleaner and you won’t be eaten alive.

Let op bedluizen en schurft! Personeel doet hier niets aan!!

Got bed bugs here and when I talked with them about did they just didn’t care. My whole body was covered in bumps and they didn’t give a shit. Would never come back or recommend this place!!

Mein Bruder kam mit Bettwanzen Stichen wieder

Nous étions en vacances entre copine et cette auberge nous a fortement déplu. Les salles de bains sentaient les égouts et était infestés de cafard. Lorsque qu’on l’as dis au personnel ils nous on dis qu’ils pouvaient rien faire. Nous avons également trouver des punaises de lit et lorsqu’on a demandé un dédommagement on nous a dis non. Les femmes de ménages ont était très désagréable quand je leur ai dis. De plus ils laissent la clim à 20 degrés tout le temps alors qu’il fait 35 dehors et on a donc attrapé la crève. Ils ont également refusé de l’enlever ou d’augmenter la température.

Lo peor de este albergue es la suciedad de los baños, con cucarachas y los chinches en la habitación. Nos fuimos antes de tiempo y no nos dejaron tomar fotos de los restos que dejan estos bichos. Un asco.

Die Zimmergegebenheiten waren unter jeglichem Hygienemindeststandart. Wir haben uns nicht wohl gefühlt und Ansprechpartner an der Rezeption waren auch nur bis 20uhr vor Ort und konnten den Problemen keine Abhilfe schaffen. Beim Frühstück haben an einem Tag die Messer gefehlt, am nächsten die Gläser oder Schüsseln... Alles in Allem muss man bedenken, dass es sich "nur" um ein Hostel handelt, jedoch hat auch dieses gewisse Sauberkeit vorzuweisen, welche hier definitiv nicht gegeben war. (Klimaanlage hat getropft, Wasserflecken an Decken und Wänden, sowie Bettwanzen...) Das Einzig Positive war die Lage des Hostels.

Mediocre,j’ai été mordue par des punaises de lits ,salle de bain catastrophique on y aperçoit des cafards.Personnel rien à dire. L’entretien zéro sur 10,je souhaite qu’on ferme cette auberge sincèrement

Worst hostel I have ever been to. Extremely dirty. Terribly organised. Tiny fridges full of moldy food. Cockroaches and bedbugs. Extremely unfriendly receiptonist that had the audacity to raise her voice and tell me that "I ruined the work of the cleaning team" because I moved my things to a clean bed that hopefully doesn't have bed bugs. Unacceptable.

Bed bugs, moved our belongings to different beds. Both female receptionist were rude and just had no idea what they were doing. Male was helpful and tried to sort things out. Bathrooms were always blocked off in the mornings. Only good thing about this place was the showers....that's it! Would never go back or recommend
