Casa Esmeralda

We arrived at this Hostel to find out it was actually closed. The staff were very nice and accommodating offering us a room but the facilities were un usable and it didn't feel like it would be worth the money so we chose to stay elsewhere.

This was a convenient and cheap place to stay right off the ferry in Moyogalpa. The dinner we had was cheap and delicious, exactly what we needed after a long travel day. Accommodations are good, not amazing, but we had everything we needed.

This place is close to the ferry. I would say it is more of a homestay. You stay with the family that lives there, but for the price of a hostel, you get your own room. It gives you a glimpse into how locals live. Everyone there is lovely. The place could use a few minor improvements but other than that, I think it a good choice. Also, they have scooters for rent and a restaurant at the front.
