Hostal Boutique 55

- Questo voto terribile è dovuto alla mancata manutenzione della struttura..(e non al personale che ci lavora). Appena si entra si sente odore di muffa e puzza di piedi. C'è in tutto il piano terra perché le camere non hanno finestre. Le belle foto della presentazione sul web non corrispondono.. probabilmente sono foto di qualche anno fa e poi non sono stati fatti più dei lavori di mantenimento. Mi sono rifiutata di dormire in una stanza al piano terra dove non si riusciva a respirare dall'odore di muffa. Gentilmente un dipendente mi ha fatto dormire in una stanza che si trova sul tetto dell'edificio (Meno male almeno lei si poteva respirare-tuttavia inoltre le foto delle condizioni delle pareti e ad esempio delle lenzuola!!!-il bagno nella zona della doccia necessita una ristrutturazione... Io mi sono fatta la doccia con le ciabatte per evitare infezioni). Una delle tante cose che mi ha fatto veramente stare male e che avevo scelto questa struttura perché c'era l'uso della cucina... Quando sono arrivata nonostante tutte queste situazioni le ho appena descritto... Ho lasciato lì il mio zaino e sono andata a fare la spesa per poter cucinare... Quando sono rientrata in realtà ho osservato meglio la cucina... Non c'era l'acqua corrente per poter lavare le verdure (poi mi è stato detto che spesso succede...MA POTEVANO AVVISARMI!!). In realtà questa poi è stata una scusa della proprietaria dicendo che spesso a San Cristobal manca l'acqua!! In effetti non c'entra un cavolo!! Avrebbero dovuto avvisarmi ed è una responsabilità della titolare che non è presente! Io Ho comunicato il disagio immediatamente... Tra l'altro avevano lasciato una specie di secchio con dell'acqua che secondo loro era utile per poter lavare i piatti. Vi mandano le foto! In altre parole la cucina non era in condizioni igieniche per poter essere utilizzata!!

- First, I would like to point out that this hotel has no reception, and all communication is exclusively through WhatsApp with the owner. But now, let's get to the actual surprise at check-in: On Booking.com, it was stated that the shower and toilet are inside the room. However, upon arrival, I had to realize that the bathroom was not in the room! When I contacted the owner, she mentioned that the bathroom is indeed outside the room, in the hallway, but don't worry, it's usually "only" used by the staff. The owner offered to cancel the reservation free of charge. I just had to request the cancellation through Booking.com, and she would confirm it for free. However, she claimed that the error was on Booking.com's part, and she had no other way to indicate that the bathroom is outside the room. I am sure, though, that there could have been alternative formulations on Booking.com (as the customer service later confirmed). She evidently did not take this disagreement well. Suddenly, I received a flood of long voice messages in which she showered me with a series of insults. I asked her to stop contacting me on WhatsApp and just approve the cancellation, as she had promised. Meanwhile I found an alternative accommodation. I wrote to her several times, asking her to simply accept the cancellation so that we could put the matter behind us. After a prolonged back-and-forth, more lies, and delays she informed me the next day that she had changed her mind. I ultimately had to pay the costs. Additionally, it's important to note that there is no free option to store luggage before or after the stay at the hotel. Any storage incurs an hourly (!) charge – This would typically be considered a complimentary service. However, when I addressed the owner about the fee, and this was before all the inconveniences, she confirmed that, but she offered me the option to cancel my booking on Booking.com and pay her in cash.

- My stay at this property was uncomfortable. From the moment I checked in it was a weird, eerie vibe. I never once saw a single person. No one at reception for my entire stay. They offered breakfast, but there was not a soul in sight in the morning time, they offered tours, but again no one there. If I was solo female traveler who wasn't staying here with my significant other I would have felt sketched out and left and checked into another hostel. ^^ To add to the lack of comfort* After leaving my honest review about this property. The owner, displeased with my review, proceeded to text my phone number trying to get me to change my review (which I’m pretty sure you’re not allowed to do) After I responded that my review was honest, she proceeded to name call and send me abusive comments which is inappropriate. She then deleted her messages. What a wild situation. Feels like my privacy has been breached to some degree

- - I have never been so freezing in a hotel room in my life. It was seriously unpleasantly cold - there’s all these “rules” dressed up in bhuddist mantra, but they’re just rules - I think I saw the staff twice in 4 days. Literally where were they? - not only was my room not cleaned, the cleaners left an envelope for some tips. For doing what?!?

- Publicidad engañosa La verdad fue molesto que nos vendieran una habitación que según tenía “baño privado” pero era un baño enfrente de la recepción. Tiene un cartel que dice uso exclusivo para tal habitación pero lo usan todos los huéspedes (los vi y escuché varias veces) fue decepcionante. Además, tener que salir en la noche a 11 grados para tener que ir al baño fue muy molesto. La atención de la gente que trabaja aquí pudo ser mejor. Fuimos a dejar nuestras maletas a la 1pm y no había nadie ni contestaban el celular. Volvimos a las 2 para el check in y nunca me contestaron mis llamadas ni mensajes y nos quedamos afuera en la calle sin poder entrar ya que otro de los huéspedes se quedó con la llave del portón. Cuando por fin pudimos entrar, tuvimos que escoger un cuarto nosotros solos y dejar nuestras mochilas ya que nunca se comunicaron con nosotros. (Nos contestaron una hora después)

- Lamentablemente este alojamiento no era lo que esperaba por el precio y por el nombre de "Hostal Boutique". Mi habitación tenía manchas de hongos en el techo y paredes y un fuerte olor a moho. La decoración es muy rústica e incómoda, no hay cajoneras ni closet, sólo cajones de verduras, mesas de troncos de árbol y colgadores sueltos. El baño, que no cuenta con separación, es también rústico y no tiene ventilación. Por otra parte, cobran por el uso de agua potable, por dejar maletas, por check in anticipado y cualquier otra necesidad del huésped. No fue lo que esperaba para un hostel boutique.

- החדר היה ממש קטן וצפוף, לא היה חלון בחדר (גם לא בשירותים), לא היה וייפי בקושי. החלל משותף לא מרגיש ביתי ונגיש.

- Camera con finestra che dà sull’intero della struttura Camera lungo il corridoio principale vicino all’ingresso (un po’ rumorosa a causa “giustamente” degli altri ospiti) Bagno fuori dalla camera Pulizia discreta

+ Great location, nice decor, easy check in, had a shared kitchen so we could finally cut our fruits. Basic but for the price it is a very nice option!

- I don't prefer these kind of no tile bathrooms, because they doesn't feel clean

+ It was a really cute quirky comfortable place to stay with lots of thoughtful touches. Shelly the host was super special, so kind and friendly, always there to offer help. It was in a great location, close to the main walking street which has plenty of shops and restaurants also the main square was at the end of the street. It had a well equipped shared kitchen. It felt very friendly and homely. There was plenty of information on tours and places to eat and drink. I had lots of nice interactions with people when I was there which is nice when travelling solo. It also has a roof terrace for that was nice to go up to with my breakfast

- My room was at the end of a long corridor and had no windows so was a quite dark, it could have done with stronger lighting in the room and corridor. it would also have been good to have a bedside socket rather than at the end of the bed.... small things that didn't affect my overall stay there

+ Sehr nettes Personal hilft auch bei der Planung von Aktivitäten und hat gute Tipps für die Stadt. Gut ausgestattete Küche und sauberer Kühlschrank mit persönlichem Fach für jedes Zimmer. Sehr schöne Einrichtung und coole Dachterrasse. Super Lage!

- Im Zimmer war es etwas kalt und es konnte nicht gut durchlüftet werden (keine Fenster).

+ J’ai apprécié la convivialité des hôtes et la.tranquillité des lieux. De plus HB55 est situé près du centre et d’une rue piétonne qui offre beaucoup de services. On m’y a organisé des transports et des excursions remarquables.

Our private room and bathroom were very comfortable, and the entire space is styled with a natural, relaxed aesthetic, full of greenery that makes it feel calm and welcoming. The caretaker is incredibly kind and helpful, always available if you need anything. Hot water is reliable thanks to an on-demand system, and she is also a great resource for local recommendations. She offers helpful tips on where to go, what to see, and can assist with booking excursions if you prefer to arrange them through the property. One of our favorite features was the rooftop terrace. It is a great space to make coffee, stretch, do some light yoga, or simply unwind and socialize. Yoga mats are provided, and the kitchen is well equipped with everything needed for cooking during your stay. The location is outstanding. There is a fantastic bakery just a short walk away, along with several nice cafés nearby. The main pedestrian street is only one block away, placing you right in the center of town. The cathedral and main square are just a few blocks away, and the market is an easy 10 to 15 minute walk. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return.
