Hootananny Hostel

It was pretty filthy. The beds were uncomfortable and creaky. The room was way too small for 2 bunk beds. The bedding was gross. My roommate had bedbugs. If you’re a woman, DO NOT STAY HERE. The place is filled with lonely men with nothing to do but waste your time. I never saw the hostel staff do anything. After one day, I left bc it was too groady and I deserve better.

Unfortunately we found bed bugs, there were traces on the walls and sheets. They bit us all over our bodies.

BEDBUGS! I had a strong allergic reaction. I tried to contact the structure after my overnight stay and I didn't receive an answer!!

Había chinches en la cama y me picaron muchísimas. No lo recomiendo.

Extremely dirty! there were bed bugs, and I had a severe allergic reaction. They mention noise, but there was this relentless, hellish vibration that shook the place all night.

Unfortunately I was affected by bed bugs and came away covered from head to toe with bites. Hostel has yet to provide support despite me making them aware

Bedbug are horrible i really dont sleep and i was cold all night I am sad because hostel is Nice but this it's absolument not possible

Os banheiros tinham 3 boxes para banho e nenhum funcionava bem, dois tinha água apenas fria e um com água quente que o chuveiro sai muita pouca água. Os quartos tinha bedbugs/percevejos e as camas são de péssima qualidade. A cozinha é extremamente pequena e fedia muito.

Terrible. While spending the night I was bitten by bedbugs. As a result, I was bitten and itched all over for a week. Upon returning home, I had to do a complete disinfection. When I informed the hostel administration, I was offered to write them an email. A few days later, the administration wrote to me that they wanted to refund me the cost of the hotel as compensation for the fact that I was bitten by bedbugs. However, more than a week has passed and I have not received any refund.

Hostel Review...Looked a cool place but unfortunately my bed was crawling with bed bugs. Im not just talking one or two. I killed 14. It was pretty bad. To their credit in the morning the staff seemed horrified and refunded my 5 day booking immediately and were very apologetic. Shame because I liked the vibe of the place. Issue is while spending the night in the common room i looked up their bookingdotcom reviews and found a bed bugs reference only a week before on Aug 3rd so it was either ignored, not cleaned properly or there's multiple infested beds.
