Hootananny Hostel

This is a great place for people who don’t care about where they stay and for annoying, problematic men with nowhere else to go. One of the bartenders was very nice helping me get into the hostel bc nobody was answering, and also carried my bag which I appreciated. It was pretty filthy. The beds were uncomfortable and creaky. The room was way too small for 2 bunk beds. The bedding was gross. My roommate had bedbugs. If you’re a woman, DO NOT STAY HERE. The place is filled with lonely men with nothing to do but waste your time. I never saw the hostel staff do anything. After one day, I left bc it was too groady and I deserve better.

Unfortunately we found bed bugs, there were traces on the walls and sheets. They bit us all over our bodies.

BEDBUGS! I had a strong allergic reaction. I tried to contact the structure after my overnight stay and I didn't receive an answer!!

- Extremely dirty! there were bed bugs, and I had a severe allergic reaction. They mention noise, but there was this relentless, hellish vibration that shook the place all night.

Staff were very friendly, informed and accommodating. Communal areas such as the kitchen and bathrooms were cleaned regularly Unfortunately I was affected by bed bugs and came away covered from head to toe with bites. Hostel has yet to provide support despite me making them aware

They refunded me money for my stay. The fact that there were huge bedbug into my best.

Nice place Big kitchen Toilets and showers ok Room ok Bedbug are horrible i really dont sleep and i was cold all night I am sad because hostel is Nice but this it's absolument not possible

Sistema de segurança é bom, todos quartos tem fechaduras eletrônicas com senha. Os banheiros tinham 3 boxes para banho e nenhum funcionava bem, dois tinha água apenas fria e um com água quente que o chuveiro sai muita pouca água. Os quartos tinha bedbugs/percevejos e as camas são de péssima qualidade. A cozinha é extremamente pequena e fedia muito.

Terrible. While spending the night I was bitten by bedbugs. As a result, I was bitten and itched all over for a week. Upon returning home, I had to do a complete disinfection. When I informed the hostel administration, I was offered to write them an email. A few days later, the administration wrote to me that they wanted to refund me the cost of the hotel as compensation for the fact that I was bitten by bedbugs. However, more than a week has passed and I have not received any refund.

Hostel Review...Looked a cool place but unfortunately my bed was crawling with bed bugs. Im not just talking one or two. I killed 14. It was pretty bad. To their credit in the morning the staff seemed horrified and refunded my 5 day booking immediately and were very apologetic. Shame because I liked the vibe of the place. Issue is while spending the night in the common room i looked up their bookingdotcom reviews and found a bed bugs reference only a week before on Aug 3rd so it was either ignored, not cleaned properly or there's multiple infested beds.
