BED BUGS!!! The mattress was dirty with what I suspected to be bed bug feces when I arrived. I contacted the number they provided with no response up to this moment. And I was still bitten by the bugs despite having cleaned the mattress myself, and sprayed my anti bed bug spray…… Maybe I should’ve just try to find somewhere else at 9pm 🙂 Btw the WiFi doesn’t work because of some lightning strikes so I’ve heard, and the kitchen only have microwave and a kettle

I stayed on Oct.12(Sunday). There are bed bugs in the room which is close to street. I got the 5 bugs all night.

We got bitten by some insects, probably fleas or bedbugs. As soon as we went to bed we started itching really bad and it continued for all three days. We had bites both on our arms and legs. The mattress was not comfortable.The showers were not the cleanest but it's okay if you're only staying for a night. The kitchen and common area is tiny considering the number of beds and it is not well equipped. We hoped we could rest after the Camino but it was not possible.

Avoid at all costs. Htey have bedbugs and refuse to acknowledge the problem. Stayed one night, was bitten by bed bugs and was refused a refund. Worst hostel throughout 2 weeks of Camino

I had made a reservation through booking. After reading the multiple reports on bed bugs I requested to cancel. Sadly they kept my money. I would have expected more from a place that looks as good as this

Wenn man alles etwas näher betrachtet, in meinem 4-Bett Zimmer, bei 3 Betten Bettwanzen, es wurde mehrfach gemeldet aber nichts dagegen gemacht. Jedes Bett hat ein Fach unter dem Bett, dieses war extrem dreckig, überall irgendwelche Haare und Flecken. Hat keine Möglichkeiten irgendetwas aufzuhängen. Ein Fenster konnte man nicht schliessen.

I told the staff that my girlfriend was bitten by bed bugs and that it was very dirty and they pretended they didn't understand English and avoided helping us rectify the situation. I messaged multiple sources warning that they need to be cleaned and they ignored me.

A mi me atendió una mujer y muy bien. Revisé la cama, las sábanas y la colcha en busca de chinches y no encontré ninguna. Si vas a pasar una noche en Santiago no es una mala opción.

Bedbugs on 9/9/25

The property had a widespread bed bug infestation which was chronicled by everyone staying there in multiple rooms. I checked the mattress and it was also covered in someone’s hair. The receptionist would not issue a refund though we had to leave immediately and book a last minute alternate accommodation. I reached out to management, with pictures and videos, but no response after 1 week and no refund or apology. Instead of fumigating the facility, they have continued to keep it open and invite more visitors and charge people even as these people are stuck finding alternate accommodation

The environment of the rooms are dirty and have bed bugs!!!!!!!!!! The rooms is near to the roadside, very noisy and has no air conditioning. Very bad condition and experienced

BEDBUGS!! And poor customer service. We found bedbugs immediately after arrival. Receptionist refused to refund us and didn’t even check the room. Other guests had the same issue so we all insisted on a refund and left.

It has Bed Bugs. Got beaten all over. After 6 weeks i still have marks all over my arm. Stuff doesn't speak English.

There were bed bugs all over the curtains. Called during night, they could not do something messaged the other morning that they will do further dissection, already I have booked for another accommodation. Had to get to laundry all of my stuff and got also beaten. Waiting for booking’s response to the claim I raised for a refund. Since I left they cancelled the reservation so that they can put more people in.

Me encontré chinches o garrapatas en el colchón de madrugada y no pude dormir. Horrible

Bed bug alert! After one night here, I got around 10 bites around my whole body, which caused me anaphylaxis on the second day, I almost suffocation due to the hard breathing. I think hostels should shut down for a while until they clean up all the bugs infestation.

Unfortunately I had bed bug bites in the morning. In the afternoon I told the staff, just to inform them about it in order they knew and could clean up and cancel the beds for the next guests until the problem is solved. Unfortunately the receptionists wanted to start a discussion about whether my bites were bed bug bites instead of just listening. Above this, the next guests who slept in the same beds couldnt get their money back when they decided to look for another place. Regretful reaction to a message that I just wanted to give them, because I do understand they also cannot do anything about it. Should be handled with more care, especially for the next guests and I would expect they cancel the nights for the upcoming guests until the problem is solved.

Wir waren schon Bettwanzen geplagt, wollten dieses Erlebnis auf keinen Fall erneut und hatten erst Sorge wegen anderer Rezensionen... Aber es war alles super! Wir hatten ein 4-Bettzimmer mit eigenem Bad. Alles war sauber, alles war gut. Ob wir uns einen Teller aus dem Abtropfsieb nehmen müssen oder aus dem Schrank, ist uns total egal. Dass wir in einer Herberge die Betten selbst beziehen finden wir normal. Herberge halt, kein Hotel. Also: Alles gut und sauber und der Standort ideal.

Hostel jest bardzo minimalistycznie wyposażony. Zacznijmy od małych rzeczy - nie ma prawdziwej półeczki na rzeczy przy łóżkach, okna w pokoju mają bardzo skomplikowany mechanizm i ani otwieranie, ani zamykanie ich nie jest łatwe. W łazience przy umywalce i w pokoju dozownik na mydło mógłby być wymieniony na lepszy - te aktualne może i działają, ale potrzeba bardzo dużej siły, żeby wycisnąć choć trochę mydła. Brakuje suszarki do włosów. Nie pytałam (ale też nie zostałam o tym poinformowana) o pralnie ani suszarnie na ubrania, tak samo strefa wspólna jest bardzo minimalistyczna - tylko dwie mikrofale, nie ma kuchenki. Nie czuć żadnego klimagtu w tym meijscu a żadna przestrzeń nie zachęca też do spędzania w ym hostelu czasu, poza tym koniecznym czyli gdy śpimy. No i finał - plukswy - BED BUGS - które pogryzły mnie przez ostatnie 2 noce. Pierwszej nocy nie byłam pewna czy to to, ale kolejnego ranka gdy ugryzień zrobiło się dużo więcej, byłam już pewna. To na pewno wskazuje na braki w dokładnym sprzątaniu tego miejsca. Nawet w dużo tańszych hostelach w których spałam podczas Camino zawsze było prześcieradło które oddzielało śpiącego od używanej przez większą ilość osób kołdry/ koca. Tutaj tego brakowało, a kołdra (bez powłoczek) na pewno nie jest prana po każdym gościu (moja miała na sobie plamy już jak przyjechałam, wiec tylko przykrywałam ją nogi po tym jak zapięłam się w swoim śpiworze. Ogólnie, nie wybrałabym tego hostelu jeszcze raz.

no window to the outside, awkward bathroom with extremely little room in the toilet, no hooks in bathroom or dorm, no chairs or little table, no shelf and potential bed bugs on Sep 25/24 The dorm and kitchen smells like overused shoes.

La présence de punaises de lit.

Ma pire nuit de tout le Chemin. Des punaises de lits, pourtant signalées, étaient présentes dans le lit. Je n’ai pas dormi de toute la nuit…

All very clean, i was worried because of a past review mentioning bedbugs but for me everything was perfect & no bugs!:)

Il y a des punaises de lit. J’ai ete piquée et l’ai signalé à la réception. Le lendemain j’ai reçu une autre chambre. En faisant mon lit j’ai constaté la présence de punaises de lits et d’œufs sur le rideau qui isole le lit. Il n’y avait plus personne à la réception. J’ai donc envoyé un whatsapp mais pas de réponse. J’ai dû trouver un autre hébergement. Le lendemain je suis retourné à la réception et ils ont refusé de me rembourser.

A ÉVITER ABSOLUMENT Présence de punaises de lit !!!! J’ai réservé trois nuits. La première nuit j’ai été piquée. Je l’ai signalé à la réception. On m’a changé de chambre. Alors que je faisais mon lit j’ai constaté la présence de punaise de lit et d’œufs sur les rideaux. Je ne suis pas rester dormir là. Le lendemain je suis retourné pour réclamer un remboursement mais ils ont refusé.

Arrived at about 12.30 at night and had to make my top bunk so was probably keeping people awake doing this. The room was so small hot and stuffy, no window no ventilation I was sweating. I was kept awake all night by bed bugs or some sort of mite crawling on me. The girl in the bunk next to me was coughing her guts up so loudly and hitting off my bunk every time she got up and down the ladder. I don’t understand the high rating for this place

There was a bedbug on my bed. The shower was too weak pressure and almost stopped. There’s no curtains or separation between the toilet and the shower.
