Garage Hostel

Such a strange hostel: it was unstaffed, so I was pressured to upload my sensitive documents online (never love doing that) and had to be face-scanned to enter with a special code. Inside was a large upstairs for us, surrounded by mechanics and garages in a very uncentral location, but it had good bathrooms and a fine kitchen. Tons of supplies. No one was there. I felt like a ghost. Eventually two others came, but despite there being 4+ rooms, we were all stuffed into the same bedroom. One snore...

I stayed for one night and it was nice. Everything was very clean and most of the furniture was new. Staff was really nice and all the communication went smooth. Although it was nice it is still a bit overpriced in my opinion.

Tuvimos que buscarnos la vida por un problema con el coche y contratamos una noche con Garage Hostel. La habitación estaba muy bien limpia con aire acondicionado. Cosa que agradecimos bastante.

A good place to stay in Solkan. The facilities were good as well. Nika was very helpful and friendly. It has a good hostel atmosphere with a lot of information about the area. It is very close to the Solkan bridge, which is a must-see if you're in Solkan. No complaints.

I love this hostel. The only two things that I still miss are bins under the sinks and some paper towels in the bathroom.

Udoben hostel, nova oprema in prijazna in ustrežljiva lastnica :) Še posebno kuhinja z jedilnico je dobro opremljena in omogoča pripravo vseh obrokov

Auf dem Slowenien West Loop übernachtet. Sehr sauber und modern. Bikes können sicher abgestellt werden. In 5 Minuten Entfernung gibt es einige Restaurants und Bars. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Todo perfecto. Llegamos un poco tarde pero nos atendió muy bien. Nika habla en castellano yo lo entendí perfectamente. Habitacion limpio con colchon comodo Gracias.

Super hostel

Consigliatissimo. Molto pulito e ben attrezzato. 30€ a notte. Wifi. Consiglio di portare ciabatte perché non si entra con le scarpe.

L'ostello è davvero molto bello e pulitissimo. Molto apprezzata il divieto di entrare con le scarpe. Unica cosa scomoda è che accettano solo pagamenti in contanti e passano una volta al giorno a ritirare i soldi. Tenetelo quindi presente se dovete organizzarvi la giornata a nova gorica

Na een grote storm die mijn tent volledig vernield had, vond ik last-minute onderdak in dit geweldige hostel - en het bleek de beste keuze ooit! Het hostel is prachtig, schoon en nieuw, met comfortabele dikke matrassen. De sfeer is huiselijk, maar tegelijkertijd strak en modern. De eigenaresse, Nika, stuurde ons een lijst met leuke plekken in de buurt, waaronder een gezellig tentje aan de rivier; perfect voor drankjes en hapjes. Ik zou dit hostel aan iedereen aanraden!

Sehr schönes, modernes Hostel, in dem ich fast zwei Wochen war! Nur 3 Minuten von der Soca entfernt und ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Touren nach Tolmin, Kobarid, Bovec oder auch ans Mittelmeer. Das Glasfaserinternet ist mit 500mbs wirklich extrem schnell und reicht auch, wenn alle gleichzeitig im Video Call sind. Große Schließfächer am Bett. Küche für Selbstversorger ist gut ausgestattet. Es wird jeden Tag von einer Putzkraft geputzt. Drei Parkplätze vorm Haus. Nika war super hilfsberei...

Zelo lep hostel v Solkanu. Prijazno osebje, udobne postelje, velika kopalnica in kuhinja. Priporocam.

Proprietaria gentilissima e molto cordiale. Conosce molto bene anche l'italiano. Ostello molto curato e pulito. Si trova a pochi metri dal confine italiano, facilmente raggiungibile anche di notte. Consigliato, specialmente se si vuole visitare Gorizia e Nova Gorica, capitali europee della cultura 2025!
