I won't be back, it's a long way from being clean, comfortable and pleasant.
Lovely staff, well located, rooms are fine. But the pool was under maintenance, and wash facilities weren't great
Pros: social hostel, easy to climb bunk beds, kitchen Cons: they ask for 500 peso deposit even though they don’t give you a key? Possibly hoping you forget to collect it on check out as the owner did not remind me when i was leaving and said goodbye. -The water station and kitchen area is closed at night so you cannot get any drinking water after 11pm. -Lack of showers. -DON’t book tours through here it’s cheaper down at the Malecón. Even to hire a car they tried to send us somewhere tha...
Overpriced & a bit far out of town. Staff friendly & helpful, clean , good kitchen, no breakfast despite high price. Bad value for money
Maybe it could be better in a busier part of the season but the location was a bit far from the Malecon and the lockers weren’t very secure. Cool patio though.
A large deposit (500 MXN) or ID card is required, although no keys, handbags or the like will be given out. The staff is uncomfortable, not helpful. The atmosphere is slightly tense. The kitchen and thus access to drinking water will be blocked from 23:00 by a plane. The outdoor area with upholstery and pool is not accessible after that. An extension on site is more expensive than the price on Hostelworld. The rooms are small, uncomfortable and without windows
Okayish Hostel. Facilities in +/- good shape, nice common area with hammocks and pool. Offers free coffee, bike rental and a bunch of nice tours. The rooms and bathrooms/showers are very small (not a lot of space for personal items/luggage), the staff doesn't seem to enjoy work at all and the common area incl. kitchen closes for the night, i.e. one can't access the fridge or drinking water from like 11pm-7am.
There are little things that could be done to make the place more pleasant, for example, putting hooks on the bathrooms, since you go out without privacy and there is nowhere to put your things. Also from my bed between the woods I could see the person next door and it was uncomfortable.
Very cramped rooms without windows, showers aren’t nice, no place to change and not very clean
It’s a nice small hostel but not sure how it has such a high score… The dorms are cramped and old, very dusty inside the lockers so all my stuff got dirty. Be mindful not to forget anything in the bathroom or shower (soap? Toothbrush…) or it will simply DISAPPEAR… It is located at a 10 minute walk from the malecon, not the most central streets to walk alone at night. The volunteers and staff are very nice and friendly.

A great hostel, the best location near a supermarket, fences of the malecon, clean and safe streets, the workers always on the lookout for all areas of the hostel, without a doubt come back pronto!!!
Exelente Hostel
Estuvo todo muy bien!!
It was all very well!!
The staff is great, Sol, Diego, Arturo and Vicky treat you super well, always looking out for you so that you don't miss anything. The common areas with hammock, garden and pool are very nice. Very clean and tidy. Super centric, in a safe area and 5 blocks from the Malecon beach. What I like most is that they have filtered water so as not to contaminate with bottles, the morning coffee and that the beds have curtains, shelf , plug and light. But the best of the best was a super cute and friendly...
Everything is very clean, safe and good service to the guests.

Good vibes. Meet some great ppl. Good hostel for solo travellers. Short walk to the esplanade. Beds were comfy and nice and quiet at night! The hostel is clean. Though the facilities are a bit rough around the edges. Bunk bed had nails everywhere and shower cold water didnt work. But it is a hostel. No group chat or group hostel activities. But the communal areas are great and everyone is friendly enough so didnt matter.
This hostel was very nice and very clean. The beds are very confortable. There is a pool which is very nice. The vibes of the hostel is chill. The owner is super nice and she has a beautiful husky also very nice. The location is great you are close to the center and the sea. I recommend this hostel
A very chill and cozy place in downtown La Paz, enjoyed my stay here very much!
I honestly would recommend this hostel to everyone!! It’s one of the favorite ones i’ve stayed in, the vibe was just very familiar and cozy, I love the hammocks and the pool, Diego also took us on a hike to Tecolotito which was my favorite beach of all time, truly had a great time. The only downside is that the showers are tiiiny, hehe, but didn’t ruin the experience
I stayed in 3 hostels in La Paz, I liked this one the best. It’s beautiful and I enjoyed the details of the atmosphere. I liked that they had bike rentals, and a little pool 🥹 internet was like a 4.5/5, mostly sufficient for working. Had some desks for working, not super loud so it was fine to work.
I stayed here for 10 days and had a great experience. The place was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and most spoke English. Drinking water was always available, and the room had both fans and AC. I also felt very safe during my stay. Highly recommended!
very kind people, nice atmosphere

Auberge très sympa, bien placée ! Pas toujours de l’eau chaude
Very nice hostel, well located! not always hot water
I booked 3 nights but at the end I extended 3 more. Really social hostel for a solo traveler is perfect. The stuff is kind, smiling and always ready to help you. Sol even offer me a jacket couse I was freezing and Mariano give you so much information and advices. Definitely I will repeat when I'm back to La Paz
Loved my stay at sunset, Sol and Mariano are so lovely and welcoming along with all the volunteers. It's clean, safe and more social than others in La Paz. Plenty of chill out space and desks for working at also. Of course my highlight was Ricky the husky! Will miss him so much. Thanks for letting me stay so long with ye!
Süsses Hostel mitten in La Paz.
Süsses Hostel in the middle of La Paz. One is a few minutes away from the Malecon and there are some supermarkets and small shops nearby. The private rooms are spacious and have comfortable beds. The private bathroom is outside the room, but always abschliessble. The communal bathroom is rather small, but has everything one needs. There is a small cozy garden and a pool. The kitchen is very clean and well equipped. Everything is simple in general, but there is something one needs everything.
