11th Avenue Hostel

Got bit by a bed bug, then told that it was a “hitch hiker bed bug.” Basically, I was blamed for it. The walls are thin, so they have ear plugs in the lobby. Still expect people to bang on the walls if the TV or cell phone music is too loud.

The bed bugs :( Got home to find I had been bed bug dinner for 2 nights. It was confirmed by my doctor, and I needed an antibiotic to ensure I didn't get an infection. He said based on the severity of my bites, there was likely a "substantial" infestation. I tried to complain and get some sort of compensation, but was told to just write a bad review instead to warn others not to stay here 🤷‍♀️ Weird marketing, but okay...

BED BUGS! I woke the day after I checked out with lots of big bug bites where i had contact with their bed spread.

Bedbugs. Beware. I was staying at 11th Ave for a conference this past weekend in a private room and woke up to find a bedbug on my hand. I went to tell the manager not only did he not try to remedy the situation, he proceeded to be very disrespectful, telling me that the hotel doesn’t have bedbugs and that I brought them in. I have never experienced something like this.

Short trip to Denver last week, stayed two nights room 229. Over the last few days, bites have started appearing. Bed bugs. I now have welts all over me and am concerned that I may have brought some home with me, as the bites didn't start showing up until a few days after I got home and I didn't quarantine my bags. Apparently they can take a week to show up. Don't risk staying here. EDIT: as with the multiple other reviews complaining of bedbugs, management is in full denial. Makes sense! I was away for 48 hours and this is the only place I slept on my trip, and the only place I was naked. So bugs either got under my clothes and bit me everywhere while I was awake in meetings, or on the plane, or the bug I saw in the room was one of the residents bedbugs. PS I saw it in the bathroom.
