i booked the romm and payd it 1 day later the hostel canelt it i find not an other hostel an i dont get may money

\\ AVOID // we couldn't stay in this place so ended up checking out a day early. The bathroom in our room was filthy, the floor and the surfaces. I had to wear my sliders into the shower. The fan in the room was covered in old dust, so can't imagine what we were breathing in and the blinds were broken. We checked out a day early because we were so uncomfortable and when I told the receptionist, she didn't react. Its the first time we've ever checked out early from somewhere! Super disappointing

Honestly haven’t been at a more inconvenient place. They close everything including the lobby and doors at 10pm and don’t open them until 9am so you have nowhere to go but outside. Since they lock the doors and aren’t open at times people leave, I got locked inside the hostel because I had given them my key. I missed my ferry because of this. Facilities are disgusting, very loud everywhere and terrible for digital nomads.

Disappointed with this hostel, pictures look nothing like the real thing. No private beach like mentioned and at the side of a busy road so not quiet at all. In a 10 bed dorm- had to share one shower and toilet which were always dirty. No hot water in the shower. Beds had no curtains, no individual plug sockets and no individual lights. There was no space in the room for people to put their bags. The food was very expensive and avo on toast was not worth the money at all.

L'ostello si presenta sulla spiaggia, e questo è l'unico aspetto positivo. Poi il resto è molto deludente, soprattutto la pulizia. Camere sporche e nausenati perper non parlare dei bagni. Non ho mai visto nessuno pulire nulla nella 4 notti che ho passato. Posizione molto scomoda, quindi mi sento di non consigliarlo.

i’ve debated whether or not to be honest about my experience, but i think it’s best to be: i booked for 2 nights, left after 1. i was in an 8 bed mixed dorm and im not sure if it was because the other guests were leaving the door open, but at about 3am i woke up covered in mosquitoes- the room was filled with them, and my side of the room was extremely hot because i was far from the aircon. also a really weird smell in the dorm. im sorry to leave a bad review but it just wasn’t a great sta...

Honestly im really sorry to write this but I would not recommend this hostel at all, unless you need to crash for just 1 night. I do really want to highlight the manager which I think his name was Rob very friendly. Rather than that Had to request twice for toilet paper and to the toilet to be clean, got the paper but they never clean the toilet trash all around, not pleasant. Is a bit far from center and plugs there was just one working in a bedroom of 6.

Nice hostel on the beach with bar area outside to chill. Quite far away from the main area of Lamai.

Nice hostel but nothing special, the photos they advertise with are a little deceiving as the outdoor area didn’t look as nice in person. There was a generator behind my bed that was constantly going off all night so I struggled to sleep. The hostel is quite far from the centre of Lamai so unless you drive a scooter or don’t mind paying for taxis I wouldn’t stay here as it’s in the middle of nowhere. I was there in Koh Samui for 3 days and decided to stay at Chill Inn Lamai Hostel. First off - the location is amazing. Perfect to just settle down, have a beer and read a book. Though it’s 30-40 mins away from party places like Chaweng - for people looking to stay away from the noise, go for it. There are multiple must visit areas at walking distance from the property - Na Muang Waterfalls, overlap stone, Lamai market, etc. The staff are also very helpful and takes good care of you.

staff are wonderful, location is bad if you dont have a scooter, the showers are falling apart. other than that its a nice place for 2-3 nights

Hostel is great and location is directly on a quiet private beach, also the fact you can take a kayak or paddle-board out whenever you want is amazing. Only issue would be the building could do with a few renovations here and there and the toilets aren’t the best

Not the most social hostel, but the facilities are amazing. Friendly staff and very helpful. Would recommend if you're looking for somewhere quiet. A bit far but was okay overall.

We had an incredible experience at Chill Inn Lamai-- the food and drinks were amazing, staff was so friendly and location was divine (we were literally on the beach). Couldn't say enough good things about the value of this hostel!

I loved how chill it was. After a nice day in Koh Samui I actually enjoyed coming back home and relax. It was perfect. The staff was nice, people were nice and they even have their own restaurant with cheap prices

Nice hostel, comfy beds with curtains. Nice chill out spaces at the hostel aswell. Few people there working remotely means it’s fairly quiet hostel. Little bit out of the way means that you need a scooter to get about. Only downside is it’s noisy next to a main road

Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés ! Propre et agréable pour quelques nuits c’est le top ! Et la vue sur la mer au réveil c’est génial

Great stay, more of a relaxed vibe so don’t expect anything party oriented. Very lovely staff and location was perfect right on the beach. Most likely will need a bike to get around easy however as the location is a bit far from anything to walk.

This is my second visit to Chill Inn, I came 5 years ago and the vibe was amazing - really personable, super socials and great dorms. It’s changed a lot, I think it must have been sold from the original owners, we booked a 6 bed dorm which actually ended up being a 12 bed dorm with 2 rooms which is super disturbing for sleep with so many people in and out. They don’t encourage activities for people to hang out anymore either. A real shame.

The outside area is beautiful as it's right on the beach, and it's a nice chill place. I stayed in the four bed dorm and there was very little space and the toilet was very dated and not well maintained. There were communal bathrooms in the other building that were cleaner.

Great hostel for kicking back and chilling. Good location next to the water, Lamai beech and waterfalls are also nearby. Food was great and there are also plenty of areas to relax or have a sociable beer.

Location okey, you can walk to lamai but for other things you need a scooter. For chilling this is the place is peefect, cool and chill atmosphere. Compfy bed, spacious rooms. But the bathrooms an toilets could you better maintance. Doors and locks broken, and could use better cleaning too. Staff was very kind and friendly, free drinking water and reasonable priced food.

Overall stay was ok. The curtains in the room were appreciated and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom unfortunately had a paint like fume smell and when in the bathroom the ventilation that was in there looked out to the entrance of the hostel which made it a bit uncomfortable when showering. Overall stay was good with the direct beach access though and free use of the kayak.
