Hi, the hostel was really good! Although the capsules were a big mistake. They cast intense blue light on the whole room, and all the others were not able to sleep properly. It also casted blue light from the fan controls inside the capsule so it was impossible to sleep properly. Additionally, two little computer fans are not enough to give enough air inside. It felt like a greenhouse. My recommendation is that you remove those capsules. In particular, they should not cost more because they are ...

It is a decent hostel. Has a smoking and non smoking common areas. And right on the seafront. Basic hostel really

It's a good hostel - the staff are great and had good conversations with other travellers. I really appreciated the workspace because I had to do some tasks and this was the main reason I picked this hostel. Plus it's close to the beach.

We stayed in the 6 bed mixed dorm, it had one AC unit and a ceiling fan. Free filtered water in the common space for guest use. Incredibly helpful staff, to provide recommendations, bus schedules, help with taxis, breakfast included. We left very early in the morning and they prepared a simple breakfast specifically for us.

The hostel was so nice! Farrah was so helpful upon check-in, there were great guests as well. The breakfast was also delicious and the rooms were clean. The shower was a little too hot and did not cool off, but that’s the only negative thing I can say. Highly recommend it to anyone going to Aqaba!

Absolutely incredible hostel. Friendliest people. They organized all aspects of our trip to Wadi Rum and provided numerous sites across Jordan to visit. Would highly recommend this hostel.

Best place! Had an amazing stay

One of the greatest hostel experiences ever! I don’t have to say more, as everything was amazing! Even though the hostel was empty, because of the situation in February/March 2026 i never felt alone! Come and experience the house of stories for yourself! Shukran for everything and see you next time!

My only regret is not having stayed longer, I absolutely loved it here. All staff was just so kind and helpful and really make you feel at home the moment you walk in. The help they offer when making plans, the breakfast, the events. And also just the little things like providing snorkels and free water and tea. Many thanks for the wonderful stay, I am looking forward to coming back in the future

Would stay here again! Great location, lovely interior, the most comfortable beds and pillows, and great staff. Loved the kitty, too! They helped me arrange a snorkel tour and had good recommendations for food nearby as well. Wouldn’t think about staying anywhere else if I’m back in Aqaba!

Over all a great hostel no matter what you are focusing on, but it really is the staff and Farah (bet the rest is equally awesome too) which makes the stay so memorable. Lovely breakfast and Iftar meal too. Staying herr next time in Aqaba no doubt!

Easily the best place I’ve ever stayed! I booked a last-minute stay at Hakaia on my way to Amman, not knowing what to expect. What I found wasn’t a hostel, but a home. The two brothers are incredibly warm and treat guests as friends. Farah’s personality alone is worth coming back for. Even for onlya one night, she gave me a funny, welcoming intro as if I were moving in forever. And the breakfast? Better than many restaurants in Jordan!

I loved staying at the Hakaia community hostel! It has a special vibe that suited we very well. Unfortunately I only had one night there...

This is the place to be! Super chill Hostel with incredible vibes! We stayed only one night but kept coming back! The people were so kind and helped us with everything! They went the extra mile to help us with our planning and provided so much info! Absolutely loved it!

I spent 2 nights at Hakaia and it was perfect. The breakfast is good, the staff is kind and helpful, and it was clean! The hostel also has a very good location! I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Aqaba!

I have been to many hostels, but nowhere else was the stuff that nice like here!! Lovely people, lovely common areas, everything is quite clean. Sweet cats coming in, it feels like a big family here. I would love to come back!

I just needed a place to stay for one night, but now I will be comming intentionally. AMAZING staff, very clean place and offers many things free such as breakfast, TOWELS, caffee and tea, and everyone is soo friendly. Also, no weird people hahah. I cant give more than 10/10 but its 15/10 ALL recommendations, Thank you guys and see you soon !!!
