1. No card accepted 2. Even though euro is accepted but receptionist never told we had to convert euros to czk 3. No shower gel or soap available. 4. Shared bathrooms and wc are across the hall and reception. 5. No heating in room slept in cold

I am deeply disappointed with my stay at Ahoy Hostel in Prague. I originally planned to stay for three nights, but after the first night, I no longer felt safe or comfortable enough to continue. A staff member responsible for cooking dinner made several inappropriate comments, including remarks about women from my city being attracted to him, suggesting I was incapable of taking care of myself, and commenting on the calories in my food. Wanted to book here since I’ve seen good reviews but since I have a wheelchair I sent an email through the contact form (just to make sure it is wheelchair accessible) but I got no answer in a few days so I called and when I said I wanted to talk about accessibility they immediately told me that they’re on the second floor and there’s no elevator since it’s the old town and the building is old (which to me it’s hiding behind an excuse). The security for this hostel needs to be improved, I had to move to a hotel after the first night.

A girl in my room urinated on my clothes in the middle of the night. When I informed the manager, he didn’t care at all, and when I asked for a free wash, he would not budge below half off. He then tried to charge me for 2 loads as my stuff was apparently too large. Awful customer service, just did not care whatsoever. Quite ignorant. Not his fault someone urinated on my clothes, but he could at least help me out. Besides that, it’s a totally fine hostel.

It has been a couple years since I stayed here, but the problems with the bedbugs my friend and I picked up here remained. One of the worst experiences and has cost me thousands in damages to have ever been here.

Wir nahmen nicht am Abendprogramm teil, woraufhin wir vom Ahoy Hostel-Gruppenleiter als "german puppets" verspottet wurden. Eine äußerst unangenehme Erfahrung, da wir das Lästern lautstark bis in unser Zimmer hörten und selbst die anderen Gäste nur mit Unverständnis reagierten. The hostel did not have a proper blanket for winters of Prague, they only offered a very thin and small cover. I asked the owner for a proper blanket but they had nothing available, just another thin layer which was not helpful. There was a window right next to my bed which people kept opening for fresh air and cold winter air of Czech without any proper blanket is no joke. I had to wear my ski jacket but still I caught a COLD which ruined my whole trip. A girl also caught cold the night before.

Our family faced fraud in this hostel. We arrived with a child, so we were asked to rent accommodation elsewhere, referring to the "house rules", and we were promised a refund. After that, the hostel managers deliberately did not cancel the reservation from the room, did not get in touch for several days, and then refused to return the money. Very nice hostel, the only thing that I really dislikes is that you can only paid in cash. And that's very problematic in a city where most of the ATM charge very high fee, I paid 7 euro fee when I took out 40 euro to paid the hostel. Please consider adding a card payment!!!

Very hospitable people; ben and Zinzin. I appreciate them for everything. Hostel was very nice . Room clean was great and , bed is good and you can also cover around the bed with curtain that's the privacy, there was a charge station next to bed and it was nice . The employes were so nice to you . I recommend to everyone this place .

Rooms were very spacious and clean, reception open 24/7 always ready to help, and Di is the best host you can have for a night out in Prague - definitely join the pub crawl hosted by him! More than satisfied.

I stayed here for 4 nights and the hostel was perfectly located in the heart of the city. The staff were friendly and very helpful. And organised drinking games and discounted pub crawls. And provided lockers in the rooms with perfect security!

Is a cool hostel to stay. Every evening a gathering and plans for residents and you can make friends. 24 hours reception and kind personeel. Rooms are a bit smelly but generally ok.

The staff were nice and beds were comfortable but the atmosphere was quiet and a bit of a let down.

Clean, simple, modern and fun. Very close to the main attractions. Would definitely recommend for short stays!

Great location minutes away from most good to see places in Prague. Friendly staff, spacious rooms with clean facilities. Only complaint we would have is that you can hear everything outside at night. Suited us for our 2 night stay.

Sehr cooles Hostel. Das Hostel liegt in einer Top Lage. Es liegt in der Innenstadt umgeben von Kneipe und Bars. Es gibt Möglichkeiten um mit anderen Reisenden zusammen zu sitzen und Kartenspiele zu spielen. War insgesamt ein sehr guter Aufenthalt

I had an amazing time in this hostel! Welcomed to Ahoy by Fifi at the reception and then made so many new friends. The place is very central and you can easily walk anywhere, they are all friendly and fun to talk with and organize lots of nice and fun activities, also if you ask for tips they are more then welcome to help, spoke with Katie about the best bars to go to and she gave some really great tips!

I had a great time at Ahoy hostel!! I found it to be really accessible and social. Katie was an amazing host and organized one of the best pub crawls ever.

We had a great day at Ahoy!! Absolutely love the way how they direct you to meet other backpackers throughout excellent walking tour and evening activities. Hostel is well maintained and cleaned couple of times a day. Our splash room was large. Bed with curtains. large locker available - bring your own padlock though. Highly recommended, we will be back for sure.

Great hostel located very close to the old town. The staff were amazing. Special shout out to Irish Kadie and and big up Di. Really enjoyed the drinking games and pub crawls organised but them. Would highly recommend this hostel. Everyone there was so nice and welcoming which helped for a solo traveller. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great experience

Very good experience, friendly atmosphere. good night's out. only downside is some of the shower locks were broken. and the doors to the dorms don't automatically lock when closed and have to be locked with a key on either side, so usually the door was completely unlocked from other people not locking it.
