Tirana Backpacker Hostel

I was there for a short stay. The experience was collectively disappointing considering the hostel stay first time . This hostel is pretty much unrenovated and its pretty basic , breakfast below average . I had the terrible experience with one of the volunteer the tall bearded and bald guy who was rude and was annoyed for no good reason. The guy from south albania was friendly. Definitely not going again when you can have better experiences for the same money.

Cafe da manhã ofertado é 100%, mas me parece que não oferece os nutrientes necessários para iniciar o dia. Lockers são pequenos, não cabe as malas. Clima desagradável e desorganizado. Este hostel tem a energia de uma visita na casa da tia velha e chata que não deixa você fazer nada.

There was an exceptionally heavy infestation of bedbugs - both large adults & nymphs climbing my bed, the walls, my luggage. I spent 4 hrs next morning vacuuming all my stuff and washed what could be washed at 60C and still took bugs with me. Apparently the front desk had had a complaint the previous day about them but let me and others use the room without comment. Such huge infestation it’s not credible they only knew then. Rest of week spent looking & feeling like I have chicken pox.

Not enough showers and bathrooms. Arrogant working people.

Some reviewers said it correctly, it's a refrigerator. Even in the end of April it's cold AF inside. Some said it's "artsy", big lol. I've stayed in a lot of artsy hostels all over Europe and the US. This is NOT it. The best way to describe it as a squat house but cleaner with electricity and water. I stayed 1 night in a private single room. overall a very good hostel. stayed for 1 night, Harry was very friendly at welcoming me and explaining about the hostel. in great location near square, bus routes and lots of restaurants. sadly I was feeling too tired to partake in the social, although it seemed a nice friendly vibe. vegetarian hostel dinners for 500lek sounded good. well thought out design with individual showers but curtain in front of door to stop clothes getting wet! beds not the most comfortable though

yes overall the accomodation was good. nice place with good vibe and facilities but the only thing its a vegetarian place.

Le personnel du hostel aide à tout faire et tout trouver. Les serviettes de douche sont fournies et le déjeuner est inclus dans le prix! Super hostel.

The host was really nice, he tells you that if you have any questions, he’s there to answer them!

Great and complete hostel! Near to everything, with good furnitures

This was one of my favorite hostels experiences so far, the place is very laid back, I felt safe and comfortable (the bed was probably the best i experienced in a hostel) and the staff was helpful and friendly. Would definitely consider staying here again

I only stayed one night but wish I had stayed longer. Super close to the main square, nice rooms, good showers, the atmosphere seemed nice

Overall a lovely hostel, note that it’s vegetarian! Maybe a little loud as the garden is open until midnight. The rooms were also a little cold

This is just the best place and vibe they have created there. Humpy, the chef, all the volunteers are so nice and friendly. Thank you for such a beautiful experience.

This is NOT a social hostel. Must be quiet after 12. Bedrooms close to social areas, mostly shaded. Must check in guests. Staff were great and great locational for walking round the city. No locks on doors, just a shared pincode on the front door.

Nice hostel with easy access plus its in the center. Very clean and got what is neccessary. I was there in winter and for me the beds were a bit cold but was alright. The stuff seemed a bit distant and not soo much involved (just checking in but not too chatty in my opinion). Also they were super strict regarding which bed you were supossed to stay in (I changed because 3 beds until the middle of the night were still free, but then the stuff was pissed coz there was a check-in at 2 am..wtf??)

Loved the vibe of the hostel.. they have a cute dog really sweet… the staff was helpful and nice
