Bed Bug bites received here on June 2nd, 2024

BEWARE BED BUGS! Stayed here June 1 & 2 (was meant to stay until the 6), it was my first stop away from my own home and had to check out early due to BED BUG BITES. When I brought this to the attention of the receptionist, he did not take it seriously and continued to check in other guests as normal. I was not offered compensation, help with alternative accommodation, laundry services or medical attention. Instead, I was threaten repeatedly to have to police called, due to mentioning bed bugs in front of other guests.

Le trajet piéton depuis le métro, il y a des travaux. Plusieurs piqûres, certaines causées par des moustiques, mais pas toutes. Pas de problème à mon retour, mais dans un climat de tensions lié aux punaises de lit, sur le coup j'ai eu un doute. Cependant on est en Espagne, il y a plein d'insectes qui piquent. Idéalement, quel que soit l'hébergement, ce serait judicieux de faire des campagnes de traitement préventif, ne serait-ce que pour rassurer les usagers. Mais je le répète, aucun problème à mon retour, et ça fait un mois. Je choisirai certainement cette auberge si je retourne à Barcelone car elle est calme, bien située, et le personnel est adorable.
