+ After they gave two private rooms that we booked for one night to other people. They let us stay in a 10 bed dorm for free🤷♀️ not sure if that’s a positive.
- Booked two private rooms for two couples and we arrived after a night bus to find out that they were given to someone else. We booked them way in advanced and there are just no excuses. All they had to offer was a bed in the 10 bed dorm and all hotels in the area were fully booked. If you don’t want the stress of this do not book.

+ 하장 시내에 위치해 교통은 좋다.
- 체크인을 마치고 오토바이를 렌트하려는데, 호스텔 직원이 국제운전면허증 표지에 국제협약 체결연도가 잘 못 되어서 사용할 수 없으니 경찰서에 가서 확인을 받아오라고 하더군요. 너무 어이가 없었어요. 2023년 7월말부터 한국과 베트남간에 협약을 체결하여 상호주의에 따라 운전할 수 있다고 알려주어도 받아들이지 않았어요. 어쩔 수 없이 1.2km를 걸어서 하장경찰서에 갔는데 공안이 도와줄 듯하더니 계속 시간만 끌어서 다시 돌아왔어요. 이런 걸 똥개훈련이라고 하죠. 무더위에 녹초가 되어버렸고 짜증이 많이 났어요. 나중에 다른 곳에서 오토바이를 렌트하면서 알게 되었는데, 하장의 공안에게 우리를 보내서 돈을 지불하고 일종의 허가증을 받아오라는 뜻 이었어요. 뇌물로 200만동을 지불하면 허가증을 주는데 무면허 운전으로 단속되어 벌금 300만동을 내는 것 보다 싸다는 겁니다. 그리고 그날 밤 10시쯤 홍하오호스텔에서 문자를 보냈는데, 오토바이를 렌트하려면 내려오라고 했어요. 손님 상대로 이렇게 장난을 치는 곳이 어디 또 있을까요? 결론은, 하장 루프 3일 동안 공안을 한번 만났는데 대한민국 국제운전면허증으로 아무 문제 없이 무사통과하였고 공안과 기념촬영까지 했어요. 홍하오호스텔 이곳 절대로 이용하지 마세요. 근처에 있는 kiki's house 이용하세요. 여사장님과 남동생이 정말 친절하고 문제해결에 매우 적극적이었어요. 이곳에 대한민국에서 발행한 국제운전면허증으로 아무 문제없이 운전할 수 있음을 확실하게 증명해 두었습니다. 그리고 기어 변속이 필요 없는 125cc 혼다 에어블레이드 자동 추천합니다. 자유여행을 하실 분들 참고하세요~~ 안전과 행운을 빕니다.!!!
+ Beznadzieje, wszystko na minus.
- Obsługa beznadziejna. Za pralnię policzono za dużo, rzeczy po wypraniu brudne. Łazienka okropna, brud i syf. Zdecydowanie nie polecam! Beznadziejne śniadanie - zero wyboru jajko, bułka i banan.
- No incluía un locker en el precio del hostel, lo cual es básico para cualquier hostel. Pedí una habitación privada para trabajar tranquilla y no llegaba el WiFi y no lo solucionaron, tampoco te ayudan a llegar a la habitación o con nada
- We rented a semi automatic from this place for our 4 days loop we did on our own. We had a flat tire near Du Gia, 3km away from the main town and asked for support/repair contact from Hong Hao Hostel and Motorbikes but they were not willing to help, they said they do not know anyone in Du Gia city (which is the last city on the well known Ha Giang Loop 🤨) so DO NOT EXPECT any road side support/help or any good briefing before starting the loop.
+ The location was good.
- The bathroom was not hygienic and the airconditioning didnt work properly, we did not enjoy the stay infortunately. I would not recommend.
- We rented a motorbike at the property for the ha giang loop. We did not get any protective gear, compared to other people we saw on the loop. They also did not give us a map of the region and no instructions on the road conditions or the route, other people we met on tue loop got all these infos from their rental provider. They also offered to bring us past the first police control to omit a fine. They drove us 10 minutes and told us we were past the police station only for us to get pulled over at a police station 10 minutes later and paying a fine... We then booked a transfer back to the airport in hanoi. The driver was very rude and did not drop us off at the airport but somewhere close to the airport just on a highway... I would not recommend to stay there! It was our worst experience on our vietnam travel.
+ Propre et confortable.
- À notre arrivée en fin de journée, le réceptionniste nous a dit qu’il était trop tard pour réserver une Honda 150cc manuelle mais nous a garanti que ce serait possible le lendemain. À 7:45 le lendemain, le modèle que nous souhaitions n’était plus disponible. Nous avons donc dû faire plusieurs magasins dans Ha Giang pour en trouver une. Pensez à réserver votre moto le plus tôt possible et à insister si besoin pour vous assurer d’en avoir une.

Goo hostel, big beds! Perfect for one night after the loop
L’établissement en lui même est globalement ok, mais ce n’est pas très propre les banquettes dans l’entrée sont toutes tachés, les douches et toilettes était pas super propre, ça sent très fort l’humidité dans les chambres avec des traces sur les murs. En revanche les lits sont grand et propre, le petit déjeuner était assez ok ! Il y a une super pizzeria pas très loin !
The establishment itself is overall okay, but it's not very clean the benches in the entrance are all stained, the showers and toilets were not super clean, it smells very strong humidity in the rooms with traces on the walls. however the beds are large and clean, the breakfast was pretty okay ! there is a super pizza place not far away !

+ Era barato, estaba el desayuno incluido. Instalaciones eran bastante nuevas pero no bien cuidadas.
- Gatos por la zona de desayuno y recepción. Las instalaciones no están cuidadas ni limpias.
+ Posizione abbastanza centrale
- Ostello sporco con muffa sulle pareti. La colazione era anche scarsa. Non lo consiglierei

- Les clients (majoritairement des jeunes de la vingtaine) ne respectent pas les lieux ni les autres voyageurs. L’espace douche / salle de bain était très sale et sentait l’urine.
Hostel idéal si vous voulez faire la Ha Giang Loop : dortoir propre avec bonne literie, SDB commune pas très pratique mais propre.
Ideal hostel if you want to do the Ha Giang Loop : clean dormitory with good bedding, SDB commune not very practical but clean.

- Pas confortable et les douches et les dortoirs sont sales.
