Bed bugs, dirty bed sheets, smell of weed
Bad hostel, worst one I’ve stayed in on my Southeast Asia trip. Rooms cramped and stuffy with hard beds and dirty bathrooms. Social enough we met some really cool people but I would not stay here. Also found it gross the drains were running through the main outside area outside our room. Staff weren’t the best either. However we left booking Chiang Mai too late and this is what you get i guess. But would not recommend
Very unclean, dirty rooms, mold and even a growing mushroom in the bathroom. Very very small area to move around in room. Strong smell of cannabis all the time.
Absolutely not recommended!!! The hostel was filthy, with cobwebs and spiders everywhere, especially behind the bed. The bathroom was worse, mold everywhere and no proper shower. Water soaked the whole room each time, causing the mold and a wet toilet seat. The faucet was broken, so we had to hold and twist it for water, leaving us with only one hand free. The door didn’t lock and a stranger even walked in to “charge her phone” on my occupied bed! Only the staff and location were good.
NO The personal was very nice, but that was the only good thing about that place. The rooms were disgusting and very small to the point where you had to squeeze through to get to ur bed. If you’re scared of spiders I def wouldn’t recommend looking behind the bed bc there was a whole new ecosystem being brought to life. The worst thing was the soundproofing of the walls. When on the toilet you could hear EVERYTHING that was happening in the other rooms, as if the people were actually in our r...
One of the worst hostels that I've stayed at while traveling. The bathroom setup is terrible - no soap at the sink, you have to get toilet paper from the outside before using the toilet, the toilet & shower are together so all your things get wet while showering, & the floor is always wet. The rooms are cramped because you dont get any locker storage
I have no idea how this hostel has such good ratings. The place was absolutely filthy looking like everything had been swept under the bed. The shower had a loofa in it 🤢 RATS i saw a massive rat in broad daylight hanging out in the common area. Probably due to how filthy it was and the smell was like mildew
Wij sliepen in een gedeelde kamer met 4 vrouwen. Wij kwamen binnen en het was erg vies. De randen van het bed plakte en er zaten vlekken op. Ook op de muren zaten vlekken. De grond, wc en douche waren ook vies. Niet aan te raden als je op hygiëne gesteld bent. Het bed was opzich prima.
We slept in a shared room with four women. we came in and it was very dirty. the edges of the bed were stained and there was dirt on them. there was dirt on the walls too. the floor, toilet and shower were also dirty. not to be advised if you are hygienic. the bed was also fine.
really bad hostel with not great facilities. they give 1 tiny pillow. Also booked a elephant Sanctuary through the hostel but they messed up my order meaning i had to do it on another day through a different company

Very dirty, the water in the bathroom didn’t drain and the rooms did not look like they were cleaned recently. The staff were friendly when we spoke to them or asked them something, but they were mainly just hanging around in the common area smoking weed. I booked this months ago and wish I had read the recent reviews, as I would have relocated.
had a good time rooms are a bit tiny the stuff is really friendly and helpful, especially ohm
had bed bugs on night 1, turns out a few other rooms had them too. weren’t aloud in the social areas past 12pm or you’d be sent to bed even if you’re being quiet. bathroom and showers were pretty dirty and had no pressure. location was good tho and staff were nice.

Stayed in yellow fellow hostel for almost a week, the facilities were clean and tidy, the location was walking distance from the old city aswell as nightlife options. Would recommend this hostel!!

Hostel social et les gérants sont très sympa mais les douches dans les toilettes sont sales. J'ajouterais aussi qu'on peut prendre froid la nuit car la clim est à fond
The hostel and the managers are very nice but the showers in the toilets are dirty. i would also add that you can catch cold at night because the climate is very hot

We were moved from the 10-bed room we booked into a cramped 6-bed ensuite due to overbooking. The bathroom door didn’t close properly and the shower barely got warm. Although staff said the room was “more expensive,” it felt like a downgrade with less space and worse facilities.
Not very clean and a very cramped dorm. Can easily walk in and out without anyone stopping you or a locked door. However, did meet some lovely people there- shame they checked out into hotels
Bloquée en dehors de la chambre à deux reprises car les clefs ne sont pas celles allant dans les serrures. Pas d’eau courante à cause d’une fuite. Personnel à l’accueil qui nous ignore quand on leur parle. Bruit jusqu’à 3h du matin
Locked out of the room twice because the keys are not the ones that go into the locks. No running water because of a leak. Reception staff who ignore us when we talk to them. Noise until 3am
We came off to a good start. However i woke up with a crazy rash on my body which turned out to be BEDBUCKS. The guy who were on duty did his best to help us find another place to stay and they refunded the nights we didnt stay. But i wouldnt wish for anyone to get bedbucks. The cleanliness is under average. For us it was fine for the price until we discovered the bugs (then ita def not worth it with the expenses that follows). The staff was kind though and helped with some of the expenses
Not the best hostel. Social which is nice. The rooms are like prison cells and the sink fell of the wall, the toilets and showers are also in the room which isn’t great. Right next to a building site. Staff are completely useless. Definitely the worst place I’ve ever stayed
Overall it wasn’t terrible but not the best. The dorms were just really small and smelled quite terrible. Also didn’t really get a social vibe, there were some people hanging out in the common areas but mostly just to smoke weed.
