LADIES DO NOT STAY HERE!! Not only did the hostel fail to answer and email regarding late check in, like they literally ask you to do. They also put my husband and I into FEMALE ONLY dorms because they over booked themselves. We ended up leaving right after check in because we werent comfortable with that. Then as we left we found out they did it with 3 other men as well!! They just want to fill rooms, they dont care for the saftey of people! They are still giving usbthe run around on refund too

I hated my stay here. It is cheap but it’s very visible why it’s so cheap. Someone stayed in my bed and staff just said we should switch beds and wanted me to sleep in the disgusting bed that someone had already slept in. Bathroom was horrible and dirty. Rooms were messy and uncomfortable. I was very happy when I left this place.

El hombre de la recepcion , “supuestamente llamado Wan”, es supwr Agresivo parece no le gustan los extranjeros y menos las mujeres. colchones finitos y muy malos, sabanas rotas y con olor a usadas , baño asqueroso, habitacion sin Ventilacion. The pictures are very, very outdated. The toilets and showers don’t look like they’ve been cleaned since it opened. I booked for 3 nights but left after 1 as I felt too uncomfortable with the people in my room.

Jeden Morgen kam jemand um nach dem check out zu fragen, ich sagte ich will verlängern und sie meinten jedes Mal ich soll sofort zahlen gehen und erinnerten mich drei Mal in drei Minuten dass war richtig unangenehm, wie als würden sie denken ich laufe weg!!

Don’t go to this hostel! I got bed bugs from this hostel. I know that this can happen everywhere, so I don’t blame them for it. But the staff is rude and not helpful at all. They refused to give me a refund and never apologised. Even tough it clearly is from sleeping there and now I have to pay to wash all my clothes and buy poison spray. While I was packing my backpack I saw that they only changed the bedsheets and another person moved into my bed after 30 minutes. They don’t care at all.

I really didn’t like this place, bathroom and toilet dirty, the guy from the reception was so rude, apparently he wasn’t happy during his job. I wouldn’t recommend

Les commentaires sur cette auberge ne sont pas du tout à la hauteur de ce qu’elle est, c’est vraiment un super endroit agréable, bien décoré, bien placé, propre, le personnel est super. Franchement je recommande !

Social, clean, safe for everyone, quiet, central, refreshing, colourful, few world travelers and street artists are here, super cheap if at least 3 nights are reserved online or 8 nights by walking in, super close to street food stalls. Yeah that's true you should ask for the lower bed possibly by the second day if you booked online, no kitchen but the hot water does its job, no fridge, many tables and 2 couches for eating chilling focusing Don't know what the old low reviews are about. The staff was really friendly and helpful except one guy, maybe it was even the boss of the Hostel. He made me feel really uncomfortable and I had the feeling he puts a lot of preassure on his stuff. There was no fridge for guests and when I asked to a yoghurt in the fridge for the staff is caused a huge issue which I didn't understand at all.

Great location, very central and staff very helpful. We booked a private room which was clean however the toilets and showers were not very clean. Lots of flies and ants in the toilet and overflowing bin. Also no communal space so not sociable and no fridge / kitchen facilities.

12&18 BED DORMS ARE NOT MIXED! Incorrectly listed. It’s Female & Male dorms! Frustrating @ check in as couple, as we had to stay in separate rooms :( Not what we booked. Basic rooms- no privacy curtains so create your own. Fem room directly next to bathrooms- hear everything.. + woken up x2nights by girls using hairdryer @1 AM !! Rules are needed pls! Das Hostel ist sehr gut in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums von Georgetown gelegen. Wir waren zwei Nächte dort und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Nachts war es leider etwas hellhörig und, dass das Trinkwasser im anderen Gebäude ist, war auch etwas anstrengend. Aber all in all eine super Unterkunft!

Rope Walk hostel have had some bad reviews e.g on Security. Albeit I must say that RW has been the absolute most secure hostel I’ve have stayed in. Keycard needed to Enter the building and surveillance in the lobby. Both rooms we stayed in were fine and clean enough although only the deluxe room had a private bathroom and shower. I stayed like 2 weeks. Very nice hostel, showers with hot water, very comfortable matress, many toilettes. A very nice coffee shop in the entrance. Putris, the girl who works in the coffee shop is super lovely. The location is perfect. I would stay again withouth hesitation. Felt very safe as a solo female traveller

This hostel has had a lot of negative rereviews recently but I think they are a bit unfair. The staff were lovely, the beds comfy, and the place felt very safe. Of course, it is not a luxurious hotel but you get what you pay for. Overal, I would definitely stay here again and do very much recommend

Sweet little hostel, quite chill but not much socializing. Some of the private rooms don't have glass windows but only wooden shutters. No public fridge available, which would've been nice.

location is good, and self check in is easy. you’re not allowed shoes upstairs so if you use the upstairs bathrooms u have to be barefoot which isn’t very nice. not the hostels fault but at 6am there is a very loud screaming animal sound that lasted about an hour, not sure if this is every night but it was very disturbing. not a social hostel either i didn’t meet anyone.

Die Lage des Guesthouse ist großartig. Um die Ecke ist ein Nachtmarkt und die Mall mit großem Supermarkt ist auch nur 200 Meter entfernt. Trotzdem ist die Lage ruhig. Es handelt sich um ein altes Holzhaus. Es gibt Mehrbettzimmer und Doppelzimmer. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein und hellhörig. An den Fenstern gibt es keinen Schutz - zur Freude der Moskitos. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zum Zimmerpreis kommt noch eine Steuer von 5 MYR pro Person und Tag hinzu.
