Had a interesting experience at this hostel me and my friend where sleeping at 11:05 and check out was at 11 then a cleaner came into our room screaming and kicking the bed and threatened me with a broom as I didn’t check out 5 mins prior. The bed curtains where broken and didn’t do a good job for privacy as you could see strait through them this place also doubles as a school, but I guess you get what you pay for as this place was cheap

You will not get the cute little houses on the pictures unless you book „with balcony“. We felt scammed when we arrived as we were given a room which was neither on the pictures of the hostel nor were there pictures when choosing the room itself. Although the owner offered us a free cancellation, this was not what we were hoping for, a calm retreat in a nice garden. For the price we would have been okay with the room, if it was communicated honestly. We do not recommend.

Lovely staff and location was a short taxi ride from the town. A private bungalow or dorm would have been excellent however we had a double bed private room situated between 2 classrooms where lessons took place early morning and late in the evening so was quite loud with children.

Location not the best, but you can hire either a bicycle or scooter.

I left after one night. I didn't like it that much. The bathroom had no air conditioning so it was very hot. The room was warm too. The bed was uncomfortable. The location was very far out and there was no comfortable lounge area.

The staff really made it. They were so accommodating to us especially when we arrived so early off our sleeper bus. The washing was really good, the best washing yet. They provide you clean towels every day. Very clean property. There was a few mosquitos in the room so we got bitten a little but that was it. You have to grab ect to the centre but it was a really nice place.

I intentionally stayed in tam coc before coming here, which I would recommend if tourism is your goal. This hostel is far from a lot of the common tourist sites, but I enjoyed that for a couple nights. Getting to join for some of the English classes was the main reason I wanted to stay here, and the students were super impressive! I liked having a couple quiet nights during my travels, but if you are looking for a social atmosphere in a happening environment, this might not be the place for you

The staff were amazing, let me stay for an extra few nights and in their hut too which was exceptionally kind, I can’t fault the staff. I was staying in a simple private room, but the hut was absolutely gorgeous. I was in love with the bathroom, amazing price for what you get. The location and atmosphere is the only negative. Far away from restaurants and shops and no atmosphere at all. It’s a really nice place to rest though and I’m grateful for the hut stay :)

A 20 min. ride from Tam Coc. Very clean rooms and bathroom. Nice staff. Overall a fine stay.

brilliant place, absolutely lovely and kind family that run it. they were so friendly and let us come in early after a terrible night bus situation lol. bit out of the way but you can rent bikes and scooters from them and grabs are cheap anyway. the kids are so intelligent and kind, was lovely to meet them.

I loved staying here! It felt like we were out of the main touristy bit of Ninh Binh which made it peaceful. We sat in on one of the English classes which was unforgettable and such an amazing opportunity. It’s only a 15 minute grab bike ride into Tam Coc. We hired bikes here and managed to cycle to everywhere we wanted to go in Ninh Binh, so it’s still a very convenient place to stay. Everything was very clean and the actual stay is beautiful!

We stayed there for three nights. The owners were amazing, lovely people and let us rent a bike and use the bathroom after we already had checked out. The location is not touristy at all and you have to use a bike to get to the main attractions in Ninh Binh, because they are not located on the city. This did not bother us too much although.

Perfetta homestay tranquilla, pulita con tutti i servizi necessari( moto, bici), non affollata e in una buona posizione. Logicamente personale ottimo!

Very good, really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were really nice. Would recommend, it’s a bit out from all the tourism which a really enjoyed. You really get a genuine experience from Ninh Binh.

Loved this hostel! I guess my only negative point was that the dorm door could not be locked so anyone could just go in.

Lovely place to stay, the hosts are wonderful and very welcoming, the rooms are super clean as well as the showers and communal areas, was a really nice relaxing vibe, would stay here again :))

Are you looking for a hostel or homestay where you can casually drink beers at the bar and meet lots of backpackers? Then this is not the place for you. It can be a bit confusing because Hostelworld says it’s close to the city, which is true, but the area itself is anything but touristy. You’re staying in a residential neighborhood. If you want to meet more backpackers and be close to tourist shops and restaurants, Tam Coc is the better choice. I knew this beforehand and consciously chose to...

Bellissima struttura in un quartiere residenziale di Ninh Binh, a una mezz’ora di cammino dal centro città: io ho prenotato la stanza singola nel bungalow: stupenda, meglio che in foto! Ad oggi, la stanza migliore in cui sono stata in Vietnam. Inoltre, c’è una scuola d’inglese per bambini ai piani superiori: é molto divertente parlare con loro, sono simpaticissimi. In generale, l’ambiente è giovane e con ospiti da tutto il mondo. Consigliato.

Amy was an amazing host - lovely food, did all our washing super quickly, and great value for money.

Great hostel / homestay with lots of services and lovely staff

Absolutely loved our stay at Amy’s. Sunny the owner is absolutely lovely as is her family who we will miss! We knew it was a little out the way but that’s fine because you can take a bicycle for free to explore or hire a moped for very cheap. it was a very relaxed wholesome atmosphere and best of all it’s a very small English language school too which gives you a chance to interact with locals if you wish. We will come back. Thank you for having us!

We loved staying at this guesthouse, the family is adorable, everything is very convenient, coffee, renting motorbikes, booking bus journey, really perfect. the dorms and sanitary are clean and the presence of many windows with a view on the garden and the plants make it extra nice
